Despite its unassuming name and appearance, there was always a line, so I decided to wait and see. I arrived at 9:50 am and was the first in line. I purchased a set of 4 assorted butter flavors for 3,885 yen, which came to over 300 yen per piece. I tried the milk flavor first and was blown away by the strong and delicious buttery taste. The texture was also unique, with a crispy waffle-like crunch. It was definitely worth the price. I also tried the other flavors - red bean butter, cocoa, and salted caramel - and they were all delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by how good these sweets were, despite their simple appearance. I highly recommend them, especially for butter lovers. I will be sending some to my family. The shop has limited stock, so don't miss out on trying them!

The red bean used in the red bean butter flavor was planted by the staff of Daimaru Sapporo store and is cultivated without fertilizer or pesticides. Today, I planned to try the blueberry flavor but ended up with the red bean butter flavor due to the misleading packaging colors. The wafer was surprisingly moist, the red bean paste was mildly sweet, and there was a crunchy texture which might be from the salt sprinkled on the wafer. Overall, it was a good snack to enjoy with a cup of tea rather than when craving something sweet.

I bought the "Chocolate" and "Salted Caramel" flavors. Each pack contains 3 pieces, and the packaging looks just like butter. The "Salted Caramel" flavor has a moist waffle texture with a milk jam and caramel cream filling. The milk flavor is strong, but the caramel could be more pronounced. You can also taste a hint of saltiness. The "Chocolate" flavor has a chocolate waffle with a crunchy texture, filled with milk jam and chocolate cream. The chocolate flavor is rich and delicious. Personally, I don't like milk, so I prefer the chocolate flavor. But if you like milk, you might enjoy the milk and salted caramel flavors as well. The flavors are different, but the texture is similar to that of butter. It would be interesting to compare them if you have the chance. The store is located in the middle of Hoppe Town, and because it had just opened, the staff were actively calling out to customers, drawing them in. On this day, there were about 7 types of products left on the display shelves around noon, so I chose a few based on my budget. I purchased "3 strawberry pieces (972 yen)" which were limited to Nasu and in limited quantity. When I held it, I was surprised because I thought it was a cookie, but it was actually soft and fluffy. Inside the thin dough, there was a butter cream and a crunchy sugar, giving it a sweet taste as a dessert with a supporting presence of strawberry jam. I also bought "3 red bean butter pieces (972 yen)" which seemed to be limited to Hokkaido. This one had an even stronger butter flavor than the strawberry one, with a crunchy texture similar to the butter cream, and the sweetness of the red bean matched well. These snacks had a unique and interesting texture, and although they were a bit pricey, they would make a great gift. I hope they continue to do well. Thank you for the meal.
