Welcome! ┌¬o"* * * 2015.05 ↓ In the bustling area near JR Kotoni Station in Nishi Ward, there are many snack bars. It can be easy to miss, so look for this sign and facade on the second floor as a landmark. |o| °д°)ノ|YuGachon As I climbed the stairs, the master, who seemed to react to the sound of my footsteps, was waiting for me. "Welcome, is this your first time here?" he said, starting the conversation. The master looks a bit like Hideto Matsumoto from his BOØWY days. He still looks young. There were no other customers, so I sat confidently in the middle at the counter. The master introduced himself. He used to be a vocalist in a rock band, and if asked to sing now, he said he would be ready with a bass guitar, drums, and harmonica. He showed me a Suki-Tan from 22 years ago. The bar's name is "×BATSU." This led to a lively conversation. Tom, who was in junior high back then, often hears the regulars saying "Rock on!" On the wall by the table, there was a cool one-stroke drawing. The karaoke equipment is available, but rock enthusiasts don't sing, although they are encouraged to. "We have all kinds of drinks," the master said. So I ordered a Jin Highball. The charm is a mix of nuts, with a wide variety of nuts that truly make it a mix. I enjoyed the homemade (?) bacon corn butter snack. The generous amount and the combination of butter and bacon with the corn were delightful. The saltiness of the bacon mixed with the crunchiness of the corn was irresistible to me. I could eat a large portion and even want to scrape the bowl clean. Even though it may not look inviting from the outside, it is supported by regular customers. Perhaps I had some connection to the bar from the past? The master is courteous, friendly, and considerate, which is why he is appreciated by the regulars. Thank you for the delicious meal!

It was a good memory to be invited by a junior high school classmate and enter the shop with fear. The entrance exudes a wild atmosphere, not really suitable for a woman to enter alone, but when you climb the narrow and slightly tilted stairs to the second floor, you are greeted by the shop owner with a scary appearance but a very kind voice, saying "Welcome~". The shop owner is very friendly and cheerful, making the conversation enjoyable (lol). The shop is crowded with a wide range of locals from their 20s to 50s, and there is a lively atmosphere where conversations naturally flow between regular customers at the counter. The all-you-can-drink starts from 2500 yen, I think? There are no fancy cocktails like shaking a shaker, but popular drinks like gin and tonic are available in a reasonable amount. You can also keep a bottle, and I always put in bottles like Kizakura Yuzu or Acerola, which is recommended to keep a bottle at this shop. The reason is that after keeping a bottle, the bottle charge, normally 1,000 yen, becomes 500 yen when you order food! The shop owner used to run an izakaya, and his cooking skills are excellent! The dishes are not made with special ingredients, but everything you eat is delicious. You can enjoy a classic Neapolitan pasta for 800 yen and a bottle charge for 500 yen, for a total of 1300 yen. There is also karaoke, but since it's a ROCK-themed shop, enka and folk songs are not allowed. I'm actually happy about that, though (lol). Anyway, this is a shop where you can easily get tipsy alone before heading home when drinking in Kotoni. Very satisfied, indeed.
