Today, I went out for drinks with a friend who loves drinking and work. It's been a while, maybe about 10 days. Even though everyone else was drinking together (^_^;) The second place we were going to was set for a specific time, so we decided to find a nearby place that we hadn't been to before. The first place we went to today was "Hitori de Koreru Mon" (a place where you can come alone). They are open until 6 am, so it was a late-night option. When we arrived around 10:45 pm, there were 11 customers already seated, but no one came in after us. Despite the name suggesting it's a place for solo customers, there was only one person sitting alone at the counter (^_^;) We were seated at the counter, which was a bit small, but we could store our belongings under the chairs. This place offers all-you-can-drink at a cheaper price if you don't order beer. I chose the option for 690 yen, which included beer, premium shochu, and local sake. The beer was a classic and it tasted good. The food we ordered included: - Vinegared spring roll noodles as a complimentary dish. - Deer skewer assortment for 980 yen, which included belly, heart, liver, and meatball. They were all flavorful without any gamey taste. - Tonpei-yaki style dish for 480 yen, which was a unique version without cabbage and with thinly sliced pork. It was delicious with the sauce, mayonnaise, and egg combination. - Boneless chicken wings for 500 yen, with a choice of various flavors. I chose the salt flavor, and they were easy to eat with the bones removed. - Grated nagaimo (Japanese yam) for 520 yen, a simple yet tasty dish with plenty of bonito flakes and soy sauce. Overall, the service was quick and the food was reasonably priced, costing around 2000 yen per person. I would consider coming back, perhaps in the early morning next time. Thank you for the meal (^_^)
