I visited SNOWS at Daimaru Sapporo Store in the special venue on the B1F floor in Chuo-ku, Sapporo City, Hokkaido, North 5 West. It is conveniently located with direct access from Sapporo Station on the JR Hakodate Main Line, making it easy to access by train. There is also a shared facility parking lot for those arriving by car. This time, I purchased the Cafe Cale Assortment (6 pieces for 1080 yen). It is part of the Godiva Cafe Collection, which expresses the world of Godiva Cafe through sweets and drinks. The package is designed with motifs that imagine a happy time at the cafe, such as teacups, flowers, and maritozzo. The assortment includes 6 limited edition Cale flavors, including Cale Dark Hazelnut and Cale White Chocolate Sakura, with 3 pieces of each. Cale Dark Hazelnut is a dark chocolate with hazelnut texture as an accent. Cale White Chocolate Sakura is a white chocolate that gently and softly spreads the aroma of cherry blossoms in your mouth. I received this on White Day. Godiva is always a classic and delightful choice, right? It's a set of baked goods called Sablé Chocolat Sakura. The set includes five flavors: Sakura Dark & White Chocolate, Matcha & White Chocolate, 50% Milk Chocolate, Cassis & White Chocolate, and Raspberry & Dark Chocolate. The Sakura Dark flavor seems to be limited edition. The sablé cookies are surprisingly crispy, with a strong Sakura fragrance. The ganache has a marble-like mixture of dark chocolate and white chocolate, creating a rich flavor. The hint of salt adds a special touch. It's really delicious. Thank you for the treat! ♡

Each small piece contains various flavors. The most delicious one was Dreamy Moon, with white cookie crumble mousse and almond praline chocolate.

I bought several of them and will add the order in which I ate them. I went to buy them for Valentine's Day. There is a very polite and intelligent male staff member, so I always ask for his help. I ate the caramel version on the day I bought them (lol). The milk one with crunch is my favorite. The blue one has a cocoa content of 60%, giving it a bitter taste with a punch of raspberry, creating a deep flavor. It suits my taste as a caramel lover. My favorite ice cream flavor is only available at the Tokyu store during Valentine's Day. I will add the ones I bought for myself and my father later.

I usually don't buy GODIVA because it's expensive, but I couldn't resist the temptation of their ice cream. I ended up buying all flavors of their Tart Glacé. It has layers of tart crust, sherbet, chocolate slab, and ice cream, topped with a piece of chocolate on top. The flavors I tried were Hazelnut Chocolate & Yuzu Yuzu Sherbet, Hazelnut Chocolate Ice Cream, Strawberry & White Chocolate Strawberry sherbet and ice cream with white chocolate slab in between, Raspberry & Dark Chocolate Raspberry sherbet and chocolate ice cream, and Matcha & White Chocolate unique white chocolate sherbet and matcha ice cream. My favorite was the Matcha & White Chocolate combination.

I bought the "Belgian Dark Chocolate" ice cream and also tried a new product called "Tarte Glacee Hazelnut Chocolate & Yuzu". ■ Belgian Dark Chocolate Ice Cream A rich dark chocolate ice cream that is one of my favorite chocolate ice creams. It has a rich and aromatic chocolate flavor. Quite a luxurious taste. 125ml for 420 yen. ■ Tarte Glacee Hazelnut Chocolate & Yuzu A new product, Tarte Glacee, has a crispy tart texture with layers of ice cream. The Hazelnut Chocolate & Yuzu flavor has a refreshing yuzu sherbet at the bottom, hazelnut chocolate on top, and a thin layer of milk chocolate inside. The elegant hazelnut chocolate flavor with the refreshing yuzu sherbet is a great combination. It's a bit pricey at 546 yen, but it's a taste of Godiva. Godiva offers rich and high-quality ice cream. Whether you love chocolate or ice cream, you will be satisfied with the taste. Personally, I also enjoy the dark chocolate Chocolixir. It's an ice cream from Godiva that makes you want to come back for more. Each ice cream is individually wrapped with dry ice to prevent melting, making it suitable for takeout. The dry ice even has the Godiva logo, adding to the luxurious feel. It's a unique experience with Godiva's ice cream. Delicious, thank you for the treat.

I received a gift from someone I have been grateful to in December 2014. Although I have purchased gifts before, I have never bought anything for myself, so I am very happy. The logo of the GODIVA lady on a horse also exudes a noble atmosphere. Each piece has a different flavor to enjoy, but the smooth texture inside coated with chocolate gives a luxurious feel. Nowadays, there are many luxury chocolates available, but I still think of GODIVA as a pioneer in the history of delicious chocolates with a smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture. Today, I came to buy a gift for my friend. The store is small but exudes a sense of luxury in the mall. Since my friend is close, I chose a wrapped chocolate that can be casually given. The wrapped chocolate is currently on sale with a renewed design. I picked the Truffle Milk for my friend. And for myself, I chose the Hazelnut flavor. Even though there are only 5 pieces in it, they are very cute and gorgeous, as expected from Godiva. Nowadays, you can even buy Godiva ice cream at Seven-Eleven, but for takeout, I always visit this store. When I want to eat rich chocolate sweets, this place is a must-visit.

The president of the company I work for loves GODIVA, so since last year, we have been giving out GODIVA chocolates for Valentine's Day. Personally, I'm not a big fan of them at all, haha. The packaging is cute though. The chocolates in the picture are the "Message Chocolat" with 5 pieces for 2100 yen. If you do the math, that's 400 yen per piece. I'm not a fan of white chocolate, so I'll save those for later. The flavors include apple caramel, speculoos, pecan almond praline, apricot cherry, rice crisp, macadamia praline, matcha, strawberry ganache, hazelnut praline, and coffee ganache. They all have cute names like "Merci" and "Amour." They are quite pricey, but delicious. GODIVA chocolates are expensive for a reason, but I still find them to be a luxury treat.

I received a gift of GODIVA chocolates! The packaging and box are shiny gold and exude a luxurious feeling. I have bought GODIVA chocolates as gifts before, but never for myself. So receiving this gift made me really happy. I'm not used to eating such high-end chocolates, so I can't comment much on the taste, but they are smooth, rich, and of course, delicious. Truly a high-end chocolate loved all over the world!

On Valentine's Day in 2011, I didn't give chocolates to anyone. As White Day approached, I went to buy some. The store was crowded with men. Everyone was carefully choosing in front of the showcases. It was a lovely sight to see them not used to buying, thinking so hard, etc. I bought some orange-flavored chocolates that seemed to go well with alcohol. I also couldn't resist buying some mint chocolate that caught my eye. The orange-flavored chocolates were sweet and delicious, but I felt like there was a bit less than I expected. The mint chocolate had a strong mint flavor, with a good balance of sweetness and richness. I tried it alone, but it's a treat I would like to share with friends who enjoy alcohol or have a similar taste in food. Godiva is a classic in the world of chocolates, and every time I eat it, I remember why I love it. Eating delicious sweets makes me feel a little happier, so I think it's great to give or receive them as gifts.

Whenever I go to Daimaru, it's always crowded so I can't take my time to choose products, but especially on weekdays afternoons it seems to be less crowded. I often use the Godiva store in the nearby Nippon Life Building because it's clean and spacious, but when I'm short on time, Daimaru is still convenient. I was used to seeing airport limited edition products from overseas, so I didn't really know the variety of chocolates available at Japanese department stores, but the chocolates sold at Daimaru are really high-quality truffles, very elegant and delicious. They have a wide range of perfect items for souvenirs, so it's great for a little outing ★

I received a GODIVA cake for Christmas thinking it was chocolate, but it turned out to be a cake like a Sachertorte. Since the expiration date was approaching, I hurried to eat it. Despite looking very sweet, it was actually quite light and delicious. It's nice to enjoy a small cake like this.

My birthday is on February 13th, and the next day is Valentine's Day. Yesterday was cake, and today is chocolate. I receive Godiva chocolates every year, but they seem to be getting smaller each year. I eat them one by one and savor each one. I was told not to eat them all at once and to enjoy them slowly. I somehow feel that they have a smoother and richer taste compared to regular chocolates.

St. Valentine's Day is approaching, and as a lover of chocolate, I couldn't resist visiting the chocolate festival at Daimaru Sapporo store (from January 16th to February 4th). I went to check out chocolates for my husband's gift and also indulged in limited edition sweets at the special venue's eat-in space. First, I spotted this on TV the other day and the announcer looked like they were enjoying it, so I had to try it: Chocolate Waffle for 480 yen. You can choose between dark 80% or caramel & macadamia cream on top. I'm a sucker for limited editions, so I chose caramel since it's only available until January 29th. The waffle made with croissant dough sounded promising, but unfortunately, it lacked the crispy texture I was hoping for. The macadamia cream was what caught my eye, but the caramel was predictably sweet, overpowering the macadamia flavor. The dough wasn't too sweet, so I managed to finish it, but it was a bit of a miss in my choice. After walking around the venue, I felt hot, so I was eating soft serve from another booth when suddenly a sweet aroma wafted over. I saw a line forming at the Godiva booth where they were baking waffles. When I bought it around 1 pm, there was only one person in line, so maybe they had pre-made them... I realized timing is crucial to savor the crispiness. But at this price, they could have baked it fresh when ordered during off-peak times, I thought. The heart-shaped chocolate on top was undeniably delicious, so I'm considering going back for a rematch during the event. Next time, I'll go for the dark 80% cream. Oh, but I'm also intrigued by the strawberry cheesecake starting January 30th. The dilemma of a chocolate lover never ends. Thank you for the meal!
