This year marks the 36th anniversary of this well-established Italian restaurant. I visited at 11:50 am on a weekday and there was only one group of two customers already seated. There were about 10 more customers who arrived later. The interior of the restaurant had a cafe-like atmosphere with dim lighting and jazz music playing in the background, which helped create a slightly cozy and casual feel. The owner seemed to be managing the restaurant alone and appeared a bit busy, but was friendly and warm during the payment process. I ordered the daily lunch set (900 yen), which was the only lunch option available (limited to 25 servings). The set included a main dish of cheese hamburger and spaghetti, along with four side dishes served separately (sausage, grilled fish, simmered eggplant, and oden with dried daikon radish). The miso soup of the day had egg and seaweed in it. The food didn't have any special flair but tasted like a homemade meal, which was satisfying in its own way. The set also came with iced coffee, making it a good value for the portion size. Overall, I left with the impression that I would like to come back to try their Italian dishes for dinner as well.

The other day, I stumbled upon a restaurant and decided to try their lunch menu. Despite it being past 11:30, the entrance was still closed. After waiting outside for a while, I finally asked and was told they would open in 5 minutes. I wondered what time they actually open. The lunch menu was a set meal of the day for 880 yen, which included a main dish, 4 side dishes, miso soup, rice, and a drink. I was curious about what would be served. I could hear noises coming from the kitchen, which made me a bit uneasy. The daily set meal turned out to be a cheese hamburger. The side dishes included simmered eggplant, dried daikon radish, sweetened herring, and pork and bean sprout stir-fry, all of which were delicious. The cheese hamburger was satisfying and the demi-glace sauce was tasty. Underneath the hamburger was a serving of spaghetti with ketchup sauce. The hot miso soup was filled with fried tofu, seaweed, and tofu. The freshly cooked rice was shiny and delicious. The portion size was generous. More customers kept coming in. When I went to pay, I noticed that the meal came with a drink, even though it was never mentioned. Did they forget? I wondered if the reason for the delayed opening was because the rice wasn't ready yet.

I wanted to explore something new, so I decided to visit a curry restaurant that I love. However, I ended up at a place called "Shiodzume" which had a lunch special of the day for ¥880. The meal included a daily dish, a limited dish for 30 customers, miso soup, 4 small side dishes, rice, and a drink. The restaurant had a rating of 3.16 as of May 7, 2022. The staff asked if I was okay with only having the daily special, which was corned beef hash. The side dishes were served in one bowl, and my favorite "scallop and baby clam" was included - it was amazing! I enjoyed the meal and had a relaxing coffee time afterwards. Thank you for the delicious meal, Shiodzume. I will definitely visit again!

On Saturday, we visited the restaurant with 4 people as soon as it opened. Throughout the day, a couple and one more person came in. Maybe it was because it was Saturday? The staff mentioned that some items were sold out because they are off tomorrow. We ordered prosciutto, salad, carpaccio, gnocchi, and pasta. When the dishes arrived, we whispered to each other, "Is this really enough for all of us at that price?" The salad vegetables were also delicious! We were so engrossed in the food that we forgot to take photos. The pasta was a bit salty, but overall, we would like to visit again.

I love Italian food but I don't usually choose it myself because I'm drawn to izakayas. Today, I visited a restaurant at the request of my senior. It turned out to be a place where I had used for a party before. So, under the state of emergency, let's eat heartily! We ordered carpaccio, pizza, and two types of pasta. It's great that you can choose your favorite ingredients for both pizza and pasta! The menu is really extensive. While enjoying the carpaccio, the pizza arrived. The crust is thick! (Actually, I'm not a fan of bread, but I couldn't refuse because of social obligations...) In a normal restaurant, I would leave only the crust and take it home as a doggy bag, but the crust here is incredibly delicious. It's soft and doesn't feel like it's stuck in my throat, and the taste of the crust itself is delicious. It's perfect. The combination with the toppings is also great. We ordered a cream pasta and a Neapolitan pasta, and they were so delicious that I finished them all. If I had to say something, I wish they had taken a little more time to make it (*_*), because it tends to stick together as it cools down. But overall, it was a very satisfying restaurant! I ate high-quality Italian food to my heart's content for less than 3,000 yen per person. I will definitely visit again! Next time, I want to enjoy it slowly with some drinks (*≧∀≦*)

It was mid-afternoon and lunchtime was ending early, so I visited Shiodou-san. Today's set meal was beef stew with miso soup and four small side dishes. I was full and satisfied with the warm and delicious meal. After eating, I had iced coffee.

We used a course menu for a farewell party. We were able to enjoy plenty of vegetables, meat, pasta, and pizza. This was our second visit, and we could feel the impact of cost increases on various items compared to our last visit. Keep up the good work. Thank you for the meal.

Arrived at the restaurant at midnight on New Year's Eve. There were two customers already there, and one group arrived after us. The restaurant is located on West 13th Street. Next to it on the right is a curry place called "NAGAMIYA". We actually wanted to go there, but they were already closed for the New Year holidays. The only curry place nearby that was open was "Spice Monster". So we visited this restaurant without any prior knowledge. Inside, there was a calm atmosphere with jazz music playing (covers of popular songs). It was their 30th anniversary this year. There was one staff member in the dining area and one in the kitchen. They only served a limited 30 servings of the "Daily Special Set" (860 yen) for lunch, so we ordered that. I chose iced oolong tea as my drink. The meal arrived in about 3 minutes, quite fast. The main plate had rice, sweet and sour pork, and spaghetti Napolitan, along with various side dishes in small bowls, and miso soup. The only Italian element was the Napolitan (laughs). The sweet and sour pork was delicious with a good amount of salt and pepper. The Napolitan was surprisingly tasty as well (laughs). The combination with the sweet and sour pork was unexpectedly good. The side dishes included burdock root salad, miso-marinated mackerel, rolled omelette, two sausages, and oden (thick fried tofu and fish cakes) each served in aluminum foil dishes. The burdock root salad and rolled omelette were delicious. The miso soup had tofu, seaweed, and green onions as ingredients and was quite tasty. The portion size was generous, and the price was reasonable. I would like to visit again for dinner if I have the chance.

Date and time: August 27, 2015 (Thursday) 13:40 - Sapporo-shi, Chuo-ku, Minami 1-jo Nishi 13-chome. Between Odori and Minami 1-jo streets, facing east on Naka-dori street. It's been about 10 years since my last visit. Several shops are located in the same building, but this one has remained unchanged. They offer a daily lunch special limited to 30 servings during lunchtime. I hurried over around 1:40 pm on a weekday and asked, "Is it still possible to have lunch?" The female staff gave me the OK. The peak lunch hour had passed, with only two solo female customers ahead of me. Inside the restaurant, there are tables on both sides after entering the entrance, with a large table for 6-8 people partitioned at the back. There are also counter seats and a cash register. The female staff brought me a glass of water and a towel. The water was generously poured in a tumbler suitable for sours or beers. The towel was a towel-type from a supplier. I ordered the daily lunch special for 850 yen and it was served in no time by the owner. Today's special was hashed beef and rice. It had thinly sliced pork, mushrooms, and onions as ingredients, with a light taste. The rice portion was generous, providing a satisfying meal. The dish came with several side dishes in an aluminum compartment in the bowl: meatballs, two red wieners, simmered sweet potato, and stem wakame salad. The miso soup had tofu, wakame seaweed, green onions, and fried tofu, with plenty of ingredients and a good size of tofu. It was also home-cooked style. Despite the late hour, the food was served at the right temperature without getting cold. The set meal also included a drink, and the female staff asked if I wanted it before or after the meal. I chose a hot coffee, which turned out to be Italian roast coffee. I remember smoking being allowed in the past, but it seems like it's non-smoking during lunchtime now. There were no ashtrays present.

I visited a cafe-like restaurant that only serves daily lunch specials. They didn't tell me what the lunch was when I ordered (lol). When it arrived, it was "青椒肉絲" (stir-fried pork with green peppers). The miso soup had Nameko mushrooms, green onions, and fried tofu. It was a bit salty but delicious. The Nameko mushrooms were big. However, the dish was served on top of rice, with pasta on the side (lol). There were other side dishes in aluminum cups, like in a bento box. There was tamagoyaki (rolled omelet), simmered fuki (butterbur), tied white konjac, and ganmo (tofu cake). It felt like oden (lol). There was also a chicken chili stir-fry with lots of ingredients. The oil from the stir-fried pork seeped into the rice, so I couldn't finish it all, but it was quite filling (lol). The pasta had an oily texture (lol). Coffee was included as well. You might be able to choose something else besides coffee, but since there's no menu, I'm not sure (´∇`). Although it didn't look great, it was a homey and satisfying lunch. Bon appétit!

Good morning. This morning when I woke up, I felt a bit cold, and it turns out that the lowest temperature in Sapporo this morning was a record low of minus 10 degrees for this season. Now, as for yesterday's lunch, I visited Beer & Pasta "Shiodou" for the first time in about 10 years. They only offer a lunch plate here (limited to 30 servings, 800 yen). The interior of the restaurant is a bit dimly lit with a chic decor. The music playing when I entered was a jazz version of Yuming's "The Wind Crossing the Pier." After a short wait, the lunch plate for the day arrived, which was a Hayashi rice plate with quite a generous portion. The main dish was Hayashi rice, and it was accompanied by scallop miso soup with plenty of scallops in it. Additionally, there were four side dishes. The amount of rice was also substantial, and I was completely full. The Hayashi rice had a smooth flavor and texture. With coffee included, all for 800 yen, it was a satisfying lunch. You don't know what dish you will get until you arrive at the restaurant, making the lunch plate an exciting dining experience. Although it was sunny until noon yesterday, it started snowing in the evening. It looks like it will snow all day today as well.

I stopped by at Bia & Pasta Shiodzu for lunch. The location is in Chuo-ku, Minami 1-jo Nishi 13-chome, across from Sapporo Minami 1-jo Hospital. Near the shop, there are other restaurants like Tempura Taketachi, Genghis Khan Hassen, and Ramen Sakuraka. The interior of the restaurant is somewhat dark, creating a beer restaurant atmosphere. The wooden tables and chairs also give a hint of a Japanese touch. The lunch menu consists of a "daily special set" limited to 30 servings, which includes rice, a main dish, today's miso soup, and 4 side dishes for 800 yen. It also comes with a drink, making it a good deal. On this day, the meal included thinly sliced pork stir-fry, miso soup (with green onions, mushrooms, and fried tofu), and side dishes (fried chicken, rolled omelette, butterbur, and boiled tofu skin). I was surprised by the generous portion of the main dish. Half of the plate was filled with pork, thinly sliced like for shabu-shabu but seasoned for grilling. Under the pork, there was a hidden portion of spaghetti. The miso soup was also filled with 3 kinds of ingredients (green onions, mushrooms, fried tofu). The drink served was hot coffee, which was a nice touch after the meal. The lunch at this restaurant is satisfying with good presentation and portion size. The ingredients and seasoning are close to home-cooked meals, making it perfect for when you're hungry. It would be nice if they offered a choice of 2-3 different menu options.

Shio Mame is located close to the train station and I visited during lunchtime. They only offer a "plate lunch" menu during lunch (800 yen). The atmosphere is dimly lit, giving off a nighttime vibe. The portion was generous with rice, ketchup-flavored pork, pasta, and 3 side dishes. The flavors were not too heavy, making it a healthy and easy-to-eat lunch. I would like to visit again for dinner next time! Hopefully, they will expand their lunch menu.

I went to this restaurant near the hospital I visit. It's about a 5-minute walk from Nishi 11-chome Station. I went for lunch on a holiday, and since it was early, I was the only customer. The atmosphere was nice with slightly dim lighting, suitable for a casual get-together with close friends. I was a bit hesitant about having lunch alone on a holiday, but it turned out to be a stress-free experience. The food options include a choice of tomato, salt, or cream base. The daily specials were written on a blackboard, and I ordered the oyster and bacon pasta (1,500 yen) based on the fresh ingredients available. I also added a salad and coffee set (500 yen). The salad was delicious, with fresh and crisp vegetables. The pasta portion was surprisingly large, filled with oysters and bacon, and had a slightly spicy kick as indicated on the menu. It was good, but the quantity was too much, and I got a bit tired of it towards the end. The flavor started with a hint of tomato and garlic but became milder over time. I might try the salt base or ask for a smaller portion next time. The menu is extensive, and the prices are reasonable. I am intrigued by the evening menu as I enjoy drinking, so I plan to visit again. Note: Using the coupons on their website is definitely worth it, as they change monthly. Visited again. The portion size was still generous. Even my friend who eats a lot struggled to finish their meal. This time, I tried the salt base, and it was delicious with a strong garlic flavor. I tasted a bit of my friend's tomato base, but I think I prefer the salt base. After trying both, I would say salt > tomato. The cream base seems like a challenge to finish unless you go on an empty stomach.

It is located near my workplace, so I go there occasionally. It is a busy restaurant at night, although it is a bit far from the subway station. The recommended dish here is the seafood hot plate, which is quite large and costs around 1500 yen. The daily specials are written on a blackboard, allowing you to enjoy Italian dishes made with seasonal fish. Most dishes are priced between 1000 and 1800 yen and come in generous portions. The pizza here is unique, with a thick and fluffy crust that is different from what you typically find at other restaurants. The restaurant can accommodate over 20 people, but it is run by only 2 staff members - one in the kitchen and one in the dining area, so the service can be a bit slow at times.

I tried a ¥800 lunch set at this restaurant, and it had a typical combination of dishes you would find at a cafe. However, the portion size was huge. The taste was okay, but it seems like they do use some frozen or pre-made ingredients, despite claiming otherwise on their website. Maybe if you order pasta or a la carte dishes, it's different. I went in wanting pasta, but they only offered the lunch set, so I ended up ordering that. Next time, I'll probably go to the amazing pasta place nearby instead.
