It was the most delicious yakiniku I've ever had. My wife prefers pork yakiniku over beef, but the A5 grade Shiraoi beef, pork, horumon, cold noodles, and the cost performance were amazing! The staff were also lovely, and the restaurant seemed newly opened. The interior and the restroom were very clean! There were plenty of menu options, and I really wanted to try more... We visited as tourists, but I think it would cost about three times as much in Honshu. It was very helpful to have signs for each cut of meat. The sagari, kalbi, and pork kalbi were all excellent. The cold noodles were also incredibly tasty. I don't think there was anything that wasn't delicious! I will definitely come back again!

This area has too few reviews on Tabelog, making it difficult to find delicious restaurants. The only reliable source of information is word of mouth from acquaintances. I hope to see more active reviews in this area, evaluating the taste and service, and ranking the delicious restaurants at the top, even possibly making it into the top 100 list, creating a lively food scene in the area. The photo is of the Negitan Shio, which was the first dish I tried. When it comes to yakiniku, I always get so absorbed in eating that I forget to take photos. In terms of my rating as a reviewer, it would probably be around 3.2 according to Tabelog standards. I also tried the Wagyu karubi, hormones, and sagari, all of which were superb. Among them, the one I personally felt was the best was the karubi. It had a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a rich flavor. It pairs well with rice and beer. Hokkaido is full of delicious food. The Wagyu beef comes from cows in Shiraoi town, which is adjacent to Noboribetsu and Tomakomai in central Hokkaido. You can apparently get it as a thank-you gift for hometown tax payments. I had the impression that the dining out culture in Hakodate is not as prevalent as in other cities, but the restaurant was full after 6:30 PM today. It must be a popular spot. I am a transferee, so I will eventually leave this city, but I want to come back here to eat Shiraoi beef again. It was delicious!

I tried twice and it was full, but on the third attempt I finally got in. They recommend the hormone dishes, so you have to try them! I enjoyed the meal.

Two of us went and tried it! We were seated at the counter. At first, I thought it would have been better to sit elsewhere, but once we started eating, it didn't matter anymore! We ordered several types of meat and salad. All the meat was delicious! It was a place that made me want to go back again!

Local customers frequent this barbecue restaurant, often leading to full capacity. The cost-effectiveness is excellent.

We visited in January 2018 with 3 people. We ordered the "Premium Course of Love" which included a variety of meats such as beef, pork, chicken, and lamb. The high-quality meat was cooked deliciously over charcoal. The restaurant is called Hakodate Yakiniku Hormone Ichiba Aisumi, located at 1-13 Hanazonocho, Hakodate City. Phone number: 0138-53-5188. Business hours: 17:00-23:30. Closed on Wednesdays. Parking available for about 7-8 cars next to the restaurant. Seating options include a 6-seat counter, tables, tatami seating, and private rooms.

I revisited this restaurant after my first visit and immediately fell in love with it again! The food is still delicious! There were families with children, couples, and married couples dining there. Watching the meat being sliced at the counter makes you want to eat it right away - it looks so tasty! I always end up eating too much (laughs). But the atmosphere of the restaurant and the smiles of the staff make me want to come back again. I highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and colleagues.

For some reason, I suddenly felt like eating meat and went to the restaurant with my colleagues. I had always been curious about it on my commute. We arrived around 8 pm on a weekday and the place was almost full, so we sat at the counter. Instead of ordering individually, we decided to go for the Boat Meat Assortment for 5500 yen. It included wagyu kalbi, hormone, pork, chicken, vegetables, and was quite generous in portion. The flavors were rich and it would be just right for 3-4 people. They also had a good selection of drinks, making it a safe choice for women as well. I would definitely want to visit this place again.

Neighborhood restaurant series at home. This time, I went to a recently opened yakiniku restaurant that had received good reviews from my colleagues. I wanted to go while it was still clean and not greasy from being open for a long time. There is parking space for about 5 cars next to the restaurant. The interior has various seating options like sunken kotatsu tables and regular tables. The system is designed to prevent the smoke from the yakiniku from filling the restaurant. The shichirin grills are relatively large and easy to use. However, the table I sat at had low chairs and a high shichirin, making it a bit difficult to handle the meat. The meat served is high quality and tender. The kalbi is marbled and delicious when cooked to a medium doneness. The meat presentation was a bit sloppy, but the hormone is thin and easy to eat, making it suitable for children. The salted hormone has a subtle flavor after grilling. For those who find it lacking, there is salt and pepper on the table to adjust the seasoning. The pepper is in whole form, adding an elegant touch. Overall, it's a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere.

I'm back home for the holidays. My mother suggested going out for drinks with my younger brother and his wife while I'm back, so I requested to go to Ai if we could get a reservation. I visited this restaurant about 4 or 5 years ago when it first opened, and I remember thinking that the meat was delicious for the price. However, it quickly became a popular spot and now it's hard to get a reservation on weekends. Luckily, I was able to secure a reservation for 7:00 pm. The restaurant is located up the industrial road from Yunokawa, just past Yuto High School. The parking lot has space for 7 cars, but it was completely full when we arrived. Inside, every seat was taken except for the one we reserved - I was glad we got a reservation. Tonight, we opted for the 4500 yen all-you-can-drink course, which includes draft beer - a great deal. The menu included:
- Kimchi Assortment
- Thick-cut Beef Tongue with Salt
- Hikoma Pork Galbi
- Date Chicken Galbi
- Salted Jingisukan
- Furano Wagyu Galbi
- Hokkaido Beef Sagari
- Hormone Assortment
- Boiled Squid Eyes
- Addictive Cabbage
- Wrapped Vegetable Set
- Chicken Bone and Wagyu Dashi Egg Soup
- Rice (complimentary and all-you-can-eat)
- Seasonal Sherbet
The quality of the meat was excellent across the board, and even if they charged 1.5 times more, I wouldn't complain. The portions were generous, and we were served more than we could finish. The drinks were a bit slow to arrive at first (probably because of a new part-time staff member who seemed overwhelmed with cleaning up empty seats), but they picked up the pace later on. Despite the lack of reviews, the restaurant was packed - it seems like everyone knows about it somehow. Since there are no other restaurants nearby, you need to make a trip specifically to this place, but if you're looking for yakiniku in Hakodate, I highly recommend it.

I visited the newly opened yakiniku restaurant, Ai-san, for the first time ^-^ It had a good reputation among my colleagues and friends, so I finally went to Ai-san as I had been wanting to. The location is along Sangyo-doro, very close to Yuto High School, and I was able to find it easily. The interior of the restaurant has a calming atmosphere with a wooden finish. I ordered the thick-cut tongue, which had a satisfying thickness and was very delicious. The assorted salted hormone included various cuts of beef and pork with just the right amount of salt, it was exquisite. The premium kalbi had a good amount of marbling and was easy to eat, personally, I loved it. The Yukkejang soup had plenty of meat chunks and a rich soy sauce flavor, it was really tasty. I also ordered a few other dishes like chicken and pork, and they were all delicious without any disappointments. I definitely want to go back again!

I recently visited a new restaurant called "Ai" which seems to have opened near my home. It was advertised in a local gourmet magazine, giving the impression that it might be expensive. It is located next to Aruto High School and used to be a soba restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is quite new, with about three tables and two raised seating areas in the back. It appears to be run by a young man who might be the manager, along with a young woman. The restaurant is equipped with a smoke exhaust system, so the smell is not a problem. The menu is quite extensive, with a focus on Hokkaido beef as advertised. Despite the initial impression of being expensive, the prices are actually reasonable, ranging from around 400 to 600 yen. However, the sauce was a bit thin and the meat was average for the price. At the end of the meal, if there are no more orders, the young woman quickly clears the plates, giving a slightly disappointing feeling of being rushed to leave. Overall, it was an average dining experience.
