I came for lunchtime. I'm happy that I could make a reservation for lunchtime. I chose the peperoncino pasta and pizza. After the meal, I had the rich cheese soft serve ice cream that I was curious about. My stomach is really full now. It was delicious, the table was spacious and easy to use. I would like to come again.

I was curious about this restaurant. I was also curious about Tony Roma's the other day, but it had closed down before I could go. I had the pasta lunch with carbonara, while my husband had the pizza lunch. The meal came with salad, soup, and cheese as an appetizer. It's nice to be able to try a variety of dishes. The pizza and pasta were both okay in taste. It felt like a casual cafe lunch. It's nice that you can have a little bit of soft serve ice cream after the meal. Thank you for the meal.

In front of the clock tower, there is a cute chocolate shop selling soft serve ice cream. I ordered a soft serve ice cream in a waffle cone and it was satisfying with a firm texture. The delicious ice cream in the cool store made for a comfortable experience! I would like to come back for lunch next time.

The cheese soft serve is a bit expensive at around 450 yen and not very large in portion, but it is incredibly delicious!! The cheese flavor is rich but not overpowering. The milk is surely delicious too, making the texture smooth. The waffle cone is tasty as well. The eat-in area is not crowded, so it's a hidden gem. I'm sure even a regular milk soft serve would be amazing here. I wish it had a bit more volume, but for this price, it's worth it. But it's so delicious, I'll definitely come back to eat more. Thank you for the meal!

Before my errands, I decided to have lunch. However, my errands ended up taking longer than expected and it was already past 12 o'clock. The restaurant I had planned to go to was too crowded, so I decided to come to this place instead, which had more seating available. Upon entering, I sanitized my hands and informed the staff that I wanted to dine in. The restaurant was about half full, but I was seated promptly. I looked at the menu and couldn't decide between pasta or pizza, as both options looked delicious. I was given a QR code along with my glass of water, which I used to place my order through my smartphone. After much deliberation, I ordered the Margherita pizza lunch set with iced tea as my drink. The iced tea arrived within a few minutes, and I was relieved that my order went through smoothly. I'm not very used to the system of ordering online in restaurants, which seems to be becoming more common nowadays. Shortly after, I received a salad, today's cheese selection, and soup. The cheese was mozzarella, served with salt, pepper, and olive oil for seasoning. The salad consisted mainly of leafy greens with purple cabbage catching my eye. The mozzarella cheese had a milky and chewy texture, and adjusting the seasoning to my liking made it even more enjoyable. The soup seemed to be a consomme. Finally, the main dish, the pizza, arrived. It was slightly smaller than what I usually get at other restaurants. The crust was slightly thick and chewy, and the tomato sauce was delicious. The cheese was also tasty and melted nicely. I cooled down with my iced tea and enjoyed the flavors of the tomato sauce and cheese. Looking around, it seemed like there was an equal number of people ordering pasta and pizza. If I come back next time, I would like to try the pasta.

I visited a newly opened and intriguing restaurant, "Hello New Day"! I was curious about their popular "Neko Neko Shokupan" (cat-shaped bread) and found out that they also serve pizza, soft-serve ice cream, and other light snacks. The souvenir corner had a variety of products including the cheese used in their pizzas, sandwiches, frozen pizzas, cream sandwiches, pickles, cookies, financiers, puddings, and cocoa cats. I tried the "Hello Pan" (¥280) to go, and bought the "Furufuru Milk Banana" (¥389) as a personal souvenir. My companion had the "Gil Pan" (¥350). Before eating, I tried to take a photo of the dishes we ordered but got too engrossed in it and accidentally dropped the butter on the ground. Despite that mishap, the Hello Pan was delicious with a perfect balance of butter and honey, and a delightful mix of soft and crispy textures. The almond bits added a nice crunch and aroma. A few days later, I tried the Furufuru Milk Banana, which you mix with milk or soy milk to enjoy a milkshake-like drink. It was light and refreshing, with a hint of banana pulp for added texture. I also received some gifts: Neko Neko Shokupan Plain, Neko Neko Anko Tsubu, and Shimi Shimi White Chocolate. The cat-shaped bread was not only visually appealing but also had a rich creamy flavor even when not toasted. The Anko Tsubu was like a sweet red bean paste spread, and the White Chocolate had a unique strawberry flavor with a perfect balance of sweetness and sourness. Overall, it was a delightful experience with delicious cheese dishes like pasta and pizza. Thank you for the meal!

I suddenly found this shop in front of the clock tower! I remember a similar shop opening recently at the former Ishiya Seika site in the underground mall. They used to sell bread and such there, but the products are similar here. They have high-quality Hokkaido souvenirs and sweets, although a bit pricey. The soft serve ice cream looked delicious, so I might try it next time. There's only Snow Brand Parlor around here, and I wasn't a fan of their soft serve, so I hope this one is good. This time, I bought some items to enjoy at home, but apparently, you can also eat Italian dishes in the store. I tried the Blancmange, but it wasn't to my taste - like almond tofu without the almond flavor. The chocolate was a bit expensive for what it was, I prefer Godiva. The rusk would make a nice gift. I'm curious about the pudding and other tasty-looking items, so I'll probably stop by again for soft serve ice cream or something! Thank you for the meal!

Spring, April. Feeling like starting something new. Started attending a monthly classical document course. After a pleasant fatigue, went to the place where "Tony Roma's Sapporo Tokiwa-mae store" used to be, near the clock tower. It was a little past 12 on Saturday. The spacious restaurant was less than half full when I entered, but about 80% full when I left. I was seated at a corner table for two at the back. I ordered through QR code, but since I already knew what I wanted, I placed my order verbally. I started with a glass of red wine for 380 yen. The pasta I ordered was Chicken Ragu Tomato Sauce Spaghetti for 850 yen. The pasta had a refreshing tomato sauce with melted cheese. The tender chicken was well mixed with the pasta. The noodles were easy to eat, not too firm or too soft. The portion was just right. The set menu included a drink, cheese, soup, salad, and dessert for 1500 yen. I wish the set menu included a glass of wine. I spent 35 minutes there and paid 1,230 yen.

In front of the clock tower, there is a new restaurant that recently opened where a Western-style meat restaurant used to be. It seems that pasta, pizza, and cheese are the main items on the menu, but there is also an Italian restaurant on the second floor of the same building, so it's a competitive area. I visited for lunch and they have set menus that come with homemade cheese. The cheese was delicious, as they specialize in it. Both the pasta and pizza were tasty. You place your order by scanning a QR code with your smartphone. It's a bit annoying that you are automatically added as a friend on LINE and connected to the restaurant's Wi-Fi without permission.

They were handing out free masks at the entrance, so I put it on and entered. I walked past the merchandise area and went further inside. It's a spacious and sophisticated space with a refined white and dark brown color scheme. It's been a while since I've been in a place with this kind of atmosphere. The weekday lunch set offers pizza and pasta as the main dishes. I used my phone to scan the QR code and placed a self-order for the tarako and wasabi cream pasta. I didn't pay attention to what comes with it, but I'll find out when it arrives. When the food was served, I was on the phone so the staff kindly left me alone. I didn't get any explanation, so I just went ahead and tried the soup with the only big spoon provided in the cutlery set. I noticed that everyone else was drinking directly from the bowl. The soup had finely chopped vegetables and a rich tasty consommé. The salad had a hint of bitterness with a variety of vegetables, giving it an adult taste. The wasabi in the pasta was milder than what you find with soba, but it still added a nice touch of spice. The taste was good, but I didn't quite like the texture of the pasta, as it felt a bit too firm for my liking. The cheese served seemed like mozzarella but lacked flavor. It was surrounded by salt, pepper, and honey, but even with honey drizzled on top, it had a dry and somewhat bland taste that didn't quite appeal to me, so I left it uneaten. The drinks were generously sized. Overall, for 1100 yen, I thought it was a good value for the location. The "New" in Hello, New Day apparently refers to milk, as the restaurant is connected to a cheese factory where they also sell dairy products like pudding. I look forward to trying their desserts next time. Thank you for the meal!

Located on the southeast corner of the building opposite the Sapporo Clock Tower, "Hello, New Day." is currently in pre-opening from January 21, 2022. It seems to have taken over the space of a large chain Western-style restaurant from overseas. This restaurant cafe also features a sales booth for local Hokkaido products, but due to the pandemic, the food and drink booths will not be open until March 1. While browsing the store, I noticed that many of the products on display are commonly seen elsewhere. One thing that caught my eye was a glass-walled workshop where they were making "Caciocavallo," which looked incredibly delicious but seemed expensive, so I didn't get too close. In the end, I ended up purchasing the popular "Nekoneko Shokupan," a fluffy and soft cat-shaped bread made with milk instead of water. This bread is making its debut in Hokkaido and is available at the store inside "Heart Bred Antique" in Minami-Sato 15-chome. Although it may be a bit of a hassle to go all the way to Minami-Sato, for those interested, it seems to be a limited-time offer, so I recommend checking it out soon. I plan to revisit once the restaurant is open. Thank you for the meal!

I am using the 150 yen coupon that came in the antique lucky bag that I bought after the store withdrew from the street. I have been going to use it at the store. The Cocoa Cat chocolate and the variety of jams are good, but what I got hooked on is the Cheese Shake (550 yen → 400 yen with coupon). It has a strong cheese flavor but is not too sweet, making it easy to drink. The whipped cream and crunch are also delicious. Plus, it's quite a lot, so for about 100 yen more than the cheese soft serve, the shake might be a better deal. It might be tough to drink in the winter, but I discovered a drink that I want to have next summer too. However, if I could be a bit greedy, I wish they also had Antique's broken chocolate brownie in the same chain store.

I went to the pre-opening of the restaurant. They were selling various items, but the first thing that caught my eye was frozen pizza. I didn't buy it though. What surprised me was that they were selling the "nekoneko shokupan" three-colored cat bread. I had never seen it at the shop in Nango and had been curious about it. I bought it immediately. I also bought three types of pudding. My favorite is the rich and retro baked pudding. The restaurant will be closed until March 1st.

I visited the restaurant because I had a coupon. I used a service ticket and got the Pizza Pescatore (usually 1210 yen) for 550 yen. Even though I was in the mood for pasta, I chose this because the original price was high (lol). It was a delicious pizza with squid, shrimp, scallops, and other seafood toppings. The chewy texture of the wheat dough was also delicious! Even at the regular price, it's not too expensive, and I was very satisfied with the great deal. It seems that you can also get a drink when you order pizza or pasta separately. The mini lunch soft drink for 100 yen during lunchtime was appealing, but I had to pass on it that day because my stomach wasn't feeling well. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.
