I went to Sakura in the Tomakomai Higashi district to eat ramen while attending my son's youth baseball game. It was recommended by the locals, and I didn't realize the restaurant had moved locations. It was empty when I went, probably because it was the last day of a long weekend. I ordered the miso ramen and half fried rice set. The ramen was made by a woman, which gave it a traditional and light miso flavor with plenty of vegetables. It wasn't too rich, but I felt it could use a bit more kick. Nevertheless, I finished the soup without getting bored. The noodles were also good, maybe a bit too much. The fried rice was delicious as well. It was a satisfying meal, and I can see myself craving this kind of ramen again in the future.

Spicy Miso Ramen for 980 yen. This was my second visit since they relocated. The place smelled quite smoky, probably from the large orders they were handling. I added extra spiciness this time, and it was just as delicious as before. They also offer dishes made with a special spice called "Tomakomai Craft Spice" from Tomakomai, so I definitely want to try that next time.

After eating tendon, I went to "Sakura"! She always says "my stomach is full" like a catchphrase, but it's really not funny! I thought I could handle noodles if it wasn't a continuous meal, but I'm not hungry at all, and I've exceeded the total calories needed, so I'm not laughing. It was past lunchtime, so there were no customers, just one or two later. This time, I ordered the "shoyu ramen (¥860)". The ingredients used are chashu, menma, a small amount of green onions, naruto, and gluten, giving off a nostalgic vibe. While the aroma of soy sauce drifts through, the first taste is light and refreshing, with a clean aftertaste overall. The lard is also mild, and if you're looking for a strong flavor, the answer is no. It's clean and gentle, made with the elderly in mind. It's hard to deny that it's light, but I don't want to eat heavy ramen! It seems like a bowl that you can enjoy without worrying about stomach discomfort, suitable for the elderly and easy to accept by anyone. The chashu is thinly sliced and moist, with a mild seasoning that is also reflected here. The noodles are medium-thick curly noodles, but if asked if they are suitable for the mild soup, it might be a bit different. They might be better suited for miso ramen. If there's a next time, I might try the fried rice set when I'm hungry. The female staff is working hard, and the lively atmosphere in the restaurant, where customers are treated well, was impressive! Thank you for the meal.

Visited for the first time on January 8, 2023, this was my second ramen experience of the year. Today is Sunday, so both my wife and I are off work. We had some shopping to do, so we decided to go to Tomakomai. Of course, Hana-chan (our dog) came along as well. Before shopping, we decided to have lunch! My wife hadn't had ramen at all during the New Year holidays, so she suggested we eat ramen today. I searched for a place and found Japanese Noodle House Sakura, located in a residential area. Luckily, the restaurant was not crowded, so we were able to enter smoothly. It seemed like the place was run by women only. The menu had a variety of ramen options, including set menus. We decided to order ramen with half-fried rice. I chose miso ramen with regular fried rice, while my wife chose salt ramen with curry fried rice. After a wait of about 10 minutes, the fried rice arrived, followed by the ramen. The miso and salt ramen looked beautifully presented. The ramen seemed to have been made by a woman, as it had a certain feel to it. The fried rice also looked delicious. Let's dig in! I took a sip of the ramen soup. It was lighter than it looked, but still had a good depth of flavor and was easy to drink. The noodles were similar to Sapporo noodles and paired well with the soup. The vegetables in the ramen were well-cooked and complemented the soup and noodles. The balance of flavors was excellent. The fried rice was slightly moist and had a simple seasoning, just like the ramen. I tried my wife's salt ramen, and it had a light and rich flavor, which was also good. The curry fried rice had a more impactful taste, but I think regular fried rice would be better with the ramen. My wife really liked the salt ramen. This place seems to have a taste that women prefer. The ramen was delicious and well-made, but I personally prefer something with a bit more punch. Since they have various ramen options, I would like to revisit and try more. My wife also enjoyed it, so it was a great experience trying out a new ramen restaurant after a long time. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

On November 20, 2022 (Sunday), it was my first visit to this place since it relocated. Previously, it used to be a curry restaurant. Even though it was close to 12 o'clock on a Sunday, I was able to be seated without waiting, but the place was constantly busy with customers coming in. The restaurant seems to be doing well even after relocating. I recommend trying the miso ramen set with a side of half-fried rice. The miso soup had a strong red miso flavor, but it was actually milder and kinder than it looked. The vegetables were crunchy, and the noodles were firm and chewy with a yellow color. The half-fried rice had finely chopped ingredients and was light in flavor with reduced salt and oil, giving it a homely taste. Both the ramen and the fried rice had a gentle and pleasant taste. I would like to try the premium miso and soy sauce flavors next time. The miso ramen had a kind flavor. Thank you for the meal! (^_^)

I stumbled upon a ramen shop with a homey atmosphere run by women. They offer a Premium Rich Soy Sauce Ramen and a Char-mayo Rice Bowl set. The premium, rich, soy sauce...? While the curly egg noodles would be perfect for miso ramen, they feel out of place in soy sauce ramen. Putting them in every ramen dish is not a good idea. The soup has a strong ginger flavor. Considering it's soy sauce ramen, it gives off a homely vibe.

I finally visited the newly opened ramen shop "Japanese noodle house Sakura" after struggling to find a time that worked with their unique business hours. I tried the "Premium White Miso Ramen for 900 yen." The noodles were medium-thick and curly, cooked firm. The toppings included bean sprouts, carrots, cabbage, bamboo shoots, and thinly sliced pork. The pork was smaller than it looked in the photo. The grated ginger lacked flavor. The vegetables were crunchy and delicious, ranking high on my list. The portion size was just right. The staff, all women, seemed to be enjoying themselves, creating a warm atmosphere. Thank you for the meal today.

I tried the miso ramen for the first time since they moved to a new location. The place used to be a soup curry restaurant, or maybe a crab restaurant, or even another ramen place in the past (I'm not very confident in my memory...). The bright restaurant with glass windows. They no longer use the ticket vending machine system. I ordered the most popular "miso" ramen. It had a rich and easy-to-eat flavor. I am drawn to the ramen topped with shredded red pepper.

The female staff greeted me with a bright "Welcome!" but the atmosphere inside the restaurant felt a bit stuffy. The air conditioning wasn't working well and the fan was turned off, so I switched it on! I ordered a bowl with soy sauce and seasoned egg at counter number 2. Huh? In the previous restaurant, the seasoned egg was served as a half portion. The bowl was delicious and satisfying. Congratulations on the grand opening! Soy sauce + seasoned egg 930 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

Japanese Noodle House Sakura, which was popular for its female-friendly ramen, has reopened at a new location. The owner, a beautiful woman who was originally in charge of Sakura's recipe development, has taken over the business independently. The menu and flavors remain almost the same as before, but with added variations, including a focus on curry ramen. Despite being a soy sauce lover myself, I decided to try the shop's recommended miso ramen this time. Miso Ramen - 830 yen The flavor profile is described as "rich". The soup is made from a combination of pork bone and vegetable broth, with a relatively light amount of oil. The soup boasts a strong umami flavor, with the savory miso blending well and gently appealing to the taste buds. The noodles are slightly thin, yellow, and curly, while the tender, low-temperature cooked chashu pork lacks a bit of depth in flavor. The bean sprouts and bamboo shoots are well-balanced. When craving ramen, one usually seeks a certain level of impact, and this ramen delivers on that front while also being light on the stomach and not leaving you thirsty hours after eating. As the generation of 45 to 55-year-olds is becoming more health-conscious, the demand for guilt-free ramen may continue to rise.

I had soy sauce ramen and mini fried rice. The ramen was not too hot, just right for me. The fried rice was lightly seasoned and moist, easy to eat. It seems more suitable for older people.

Today's order was soy sauce ramen with a set of chashu rice bowl and seasoned egg topping (*´﹃`*) The soy sauce ramen had a mild and gentle flavor, I drank every last drop (lol). It's my favorite, I don't need things like pepper or garlic. I want to enjoy various flavors, so maybe next time I'll try salt ramen? But I also can't resist curry ramen, and I'm curious about spicy miso too. I'll probably be a regular for a while www It was really delicious (*´﹃`*)

I went to the pre-opening and ordered miso ramen with toppings of flavored egg and green onions! The chashu was huge and very satisfying. The soup was rich and just how I like it. The fried rice was also delicious. I definitely want to go back again. It was so tasty!
