When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, it is a designated rare disease by the government. Unfortunately, there is no medicine that suits my rare disease yet. I was hospitalized for rare disease treatment again in April-May after being hospitalized in September last year and January this year. The supportive comments from everyone were a source of energy for me during my hospitalization. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart. I was discharged in early May, but the tests in late May were not good, and the doctor mentioned the possibility of hospitalization. The tests in June led to further examinations in July. It seems that I may need to be hospitalized in July due to worsening conditions, but it will likely be after 2 weeks following the second dose of the COVID vaccine. The doctor instructed me to confirm the vaccination schedule with Sapporo City, but Sapporo City has slightly shortened the deadline for those aged 65 to under 74 to end in February next year. Those under 64 with underlying conditions are prioritized, and vaccination vouchers are being sent out from July for those with underlying conditions. Prime Minister Suga stated that vaccinations for those aged 65 and older will be completed by July this year, but both the first dose and second dose vaccination rates in Hokkaido are the lowest in the country. Hokkaido has the lowest vaccination rate in the country. After mid-July, only 30% of the expected vaccines will be sent to Sapporo due to a 70% cut in the desired quantity. Furthermore, Sapporo is behind in vaccinating the elderly, while events like the Olympic marathon will be held in Sapporo. Tokyo is making progress in vaccinating younger people, but Sapporo is not making progress in vaccinating the elderly. What is the cause of this significant difference? Thank you for your continued support. In July 2021, "Kitchen Hapiness - Nijuyonken Store" is a dining hall located within "Playland Happy - Nijuyonken Store." The main dishes include ramen, soba, udon, curry, etc. I visited for lunch with my usual companion for the first time. This store is located in the Nijuyonken area of Nishi-ku, Sapporo, along the Shimoina Street, on the first floor of "Playland Happy - Hachiken Store." For the exact location of the store, please search on Tabelog. I visited around 2 pm on a weekday. Since it was my first visit, I wandered around the store because I didn't know the location. (laughs) The interior of the store is relatively compact, with counter seats and table seats. There is a ticket vending machine on the left, and the top menu is "Miso Ramen - 750 yen." There were four customers in front of me, and no customers behind me. I sat at the counter seat. After waiting for about 9 minutes, the "Katsu Soba" was served. The "Tonkatsu" was freshly fried and piping hot. It's hard to judge, but it feels like it's for commercial use. It's fried too much, and the coating is burnt. The coating is burnt and has a burnt smell, but the meat inside is tender. The soba noodles are slightly thin, similar to the type of soba served in a cafeteria. The soba broth is a delicious broth with a strong flavor of bonito that tastes like that of a authentic soba restaurant. This store also makes delicious soba broth by blending multiple bonito flakes in the store, as I heard at another "Kitchen Happiness" store. The reason for the deliciousness is clear. The "Katsu" is freshly fried and hot. Ideally, when freshly fried and hot, it should taste good on its own. The excessive frying has made the coating burnt and the burnt smell has slightly affected the good soba broth. I peeled off the coating and only ate the meat inside. It's very disappointing that it's over-fried. As for a play area soba, it's top-notch. The quality is several levels above that of a typical cafeteria soba. The "Kake Soba" is priced at 530 yen. Ideally, the "Katsu Soba" made with tonkatsu for 750 yen would be a convenient price. I would like to try the "Katsu Soba" again next time. Delicious and a treat.
