I bought bread and then headed straight to the desired store! But before that, I had about an hour to spare, so I decided to visit "Melody," which is on my bucket list. I planned to have lunch there eventually, but since there were no photos of desserts posted here, I decided to try a dessert first! It was early after the opening time, and there were no other customers except for the owner and me. I initially chose the "Melody Parfait," but it was unavailable due to the homemade pudding used in the parfait being sold out. As an alternative, I ordered the "Fruit Parfait (¥650)." I asked the owner if I could buy a cake to take out, and they said it's possible in winter but not in summer because the cake set contents vary by season – scones in winter and panna cotta in summer. The dessert menu is extensive, but it seems like they focus more on sweets. The parfait arrived promptly, and it was filled with bananas, kiwi, cherries, muscat grapes, vanilla ice cream, and strawberry jam – a fruit lover's paradise! I love Sapporo's Shime Parfait, but in terms of price and ease of eating, I might prefer the old-fashioned parfait! However, in famous parfait shops, I always end up ordering the elaborate parfaits even though they are pricey. Shortly after ordering the Fruit Parfait, I noticed that someone else on Retty had ordered the same menu. But the ingredients seemed different, so I felt relieved. Depending on the restaurant or my mood that day, I tend to crave menus that are not posted with photos or have low order rates. The owner was very pleasant, and I received a matchbox with the restaurant's name on it when I left. Parfaits may not be voluminous in size, but they are made up of various ingredients and can be quite filling! Although the order was reversed, let's head to the main restaurant for a meal next time! Thank you for the meal.
