On July 11th (Monday), I stopped by after leaving Hello Work. It was hot that day, and I had lunch in the Nishisen 11-jo area before heading home. I felt a bit exhausted. I noticed that there aren't many branches of major hamburger chains around here. However, there are a few Lotteria stores scattered around. It may not be as popular as in Kanto, but I was craving something sweet to combat the heat, so I chose a vanilla shake. By opening the app, I found a coupon and got it for ¥220 including tax. I couldn't help but compare it a bit. With a major chain, I could get a medium size, but here, the portion is smaller. The content may be different, but the cost performance is lower. The shake I had after a long time had the usual crunchy ice texture. It may be good on a hot day, but it didn't feel particularly rich. Still, it helped me cool down, so it was good.

Every time I come here, it seems to turn into a losing battle... and then I realize the existence of the coupon later on. The customer service is friendly, as usual, but it's a common story where I only notice the coupon after I've already eaten the menu. I had high hopes for the meat, but it was difficult to find the deliciousness... The Rib Sandwich Pork set is quite expensive, costing over 1,000 yen with potato and drink included. It felt like a rip-off. I also found a similar set with a slightly lower price, but I couldn't understand the pricing logic. I felt like a loser who paid the highest price. Using the coupon, it was about half the price, but that felt like the appropriate price. It made me feel like a gullible loser. While waiting for the main menu to arrive, I searched online about the Rib Sandwich Pork and found out that it wasn't actually ribs, but a patty made to resemble ribs, seasoned simply with salt and black pepper, grilled on an iron plate, and sandwiched between whole grain soft French bread with 50g of beef kalbi, sliced onions, mayo sauce, and mustard, all seasoned with a fruity, sweet, and savory soy-based sauce made with apple and lemon juice. Despite the description, I personally found the soft French bread to be mediocre and felt the heavy burden of salt and sugar on my body. I also doubted if there was really that much beef kalbi in it. It was a junky taste experience that made me think about my taste buds and texture preferences. I thought it would be actual ribs, but it turned out to be a disappointment. I might not eat it again without a coupon, and the next opportunity seems far away.

I remember well that there was a Lucky Pierrot in front of Hakodate Station. Maybe they opened earlier, so what's the deal? The Japanese-style rice burger with spicy cheese for 540 yen is excellent. The half-cooked egg teriyaki burger set for 847 yen is also good. Soft drink. Big chicken nuggets for an additional 33 yen. The spicy chili is good. The rice burger goes well with it. The rice tends to fall apart and is difficult to eat. If you have complaints, then don't order it in the first place. However, the regular buns are too light and fluffy. The half-cooked egg is excellent. The mustard teriyaki sauce is okay. The only downside is the potatoes, they are the weakest point. It's more expensive than McDonald's, but it has some advantages. Overall, it's about the same as McDonald's.

It's been a while since I had a rib sandwich. I ordered it as a single item. Well, it's just so hard to eat (>_<). The flavor of the pork, mayo, and BBQ sauce match really well and it's very delicious, but still, it's difficult to eat! As you eat, the meat and lettuce gradually start to protrude from the long oval buns... Eventually, the ratio of meat to bread becomes more and more, and the sauce starts to stick to your fingers... (-_-;) Bread! → Meat!! The packaging of the bread definitely needs improvement!! It's been the same for years. Does that mean it's an individual eating style problem??? I think it's a much tougher opponent than the Big Mac <(_ _)>

One weekend, I stopped by the Lotteria in Nishi Ward Yamanote to kill some time. The parking lot had plenty of spaces available. The interior of the restaurant had a historical feel with tables that seemed more organized compared to McDonald's. Occasionally, the sound of takeout orders could be heard. The background music playing was Western music. I decided to order a drink only since there was no specific lunch menu. For my first visit, I chose the cheapest set, which was a hamburger set for 616 yen. I selected "Furu Potato" as the side and "Wasabi & Beef" as the seasoning for the fries, and "Pepsi Zero" as the drink. The hamburger tasted familiar, with a warm bun, ketchup, classic patty, diced onions, and pickles. The fries were slightly less oily than McDonald's, with a strong salty and wasabi flavor. I finished the meal with a Pepsi, different from the usual Coca-Cola. Recently, McDonald's has been doing well, and I hope Lotteria can catch the same wave. Thank you for the meal.

I started my drive towards Otaru and decided to stop at a drive-thru for a different drink. However, the only option was iced coffee, which was priced at 275 yen. What? This is not the price I expect from a fast food restaurant. The taste was not bad, but if I compare it to McDonald's or 7-Eleven, the satisfaction level is low.

I stopped by here when it suddenly started snowing while I was out for a walk on New Year's Eve. I ordered the Deluxe Cheeseburger Set for 870 yen (excluding tax). The cheeseburger was dripping with grease, making it look very fattening. The price was quite high, but the taste didn't quite live up to it. The patty was spicy and delicious, but the cheese flavor was weak, so I felt like I didn't need the cheese. I also got the Furupote Set, but the nori salt flavor was a bit too salty for the morning (lol). Thanks for the meal!

Continuing with last year's reviews, in the Yamate area of Nishi Ward, there is a long-standing "Lotteria" along Yamate-dori. I was in the area for errands and decided to have a late breakfast there. It was a bit of an awkward time for a meal, so there weren't many people eating inside, but there were quite a few customers at the drive-thru. I usually go for the "Gourmet" series at Lotteria, but this time I ordered the "Classic Burger Jr" with "Crispy Chicken Stick Set (760 yen)". The Classic Burger is a bit pricier than a regular hamburger, but the quality of the patty is high and delicious. The Jr size is about the same as a regular hamburger, but it might be a bit small for adult men. When you want to enjoy a tasty burger, I recommend trying the Classic Burger or the Gourmet series.

Classic Double Cheeseburger Jr - A sweet and rich sauce with a burnt flavor. Ebi Burger - A crispy shrimp cutlet with tartar sauce. Half-cooked Egg Teriyaki Burger - A fluffy egg with teriyaki sauce. I love Lotteria's teriyaki sauce. Bucket Potato.

There are no places to eat nearby, so I think this restaurant is valuable. I ordered the amazing mozzarella cheeseburger set. I love mozzarella cheese. It cost 820 yen for the set, but I splurged. Being a fan of mozzarella, the mozzarella cheeseburger was delicious. The meat and cheese were both tasty. However, the portion was a bit small for 820 yen. But Lotteria's fries are really delicious, aren't they?

In terms of fast food hamburgers, I like Lotteria the best. McDonald's is addictive, and Mos Burger has delicious rice burgers. But when it comes to the taste of hamburgers, I personally think Lotteria is the best. Of course, independent burger specialty shops are much tastier than chain stores. Even among chain stores, a certain local burger from the Doan region is much tastier, although the taste is stronger. This day was the men's figure skating free skate day at the Pyeongchang Olympics, so I wanted to watch it leisurely and got some food through the drive-thru. I tried some new products. The Shrimp Chili Nan Sandwich had a cheap taste as expected, but the shrimp cutlet and chili sauce inside were quite good. The chili sauce was spicier than I thought! That alone made me like it. But maybe I'll only eat it once (laughs). The Kishu Plum Shrimp Burger - I snacked on my wife's. It was created by the staff at the Sapporo Shinro store. A slightly sour hamburger with a plum flavor, I had never eaten anything like it before, but it was refreshing and delicious. This could be added to the regular menu. The Superb Cheeseburger is Lotteria's main product. One hamburger is definitely not enough, so I ordered it. The slightly overpowering pepper is to my liking. The only downside is that it's small.

Lotteria has fewer stores compared to other chains, so I rarely use it... I recently used the drive-thru for the first time in a while. I simply had a cheeseburger, which was actually quite delicious. It's ultimately junk food, but for someone like me in their mid-40s who grew up on hamburgers, it has a nostalgic taste that is satisfying in its own way... However, after eating it, I can't help but think that I might be good for a while. Lotteria is a unique hamburger chain founded in 1972 as Lotte Group's fast food business. In September 2008, T-Card became usable at Lotteria.

Sapporo, Yamanote. There is a Lotteria along Yamanote Street that opens at 9 am and has a drive-thru, making it convenient. There is parking space for 14 cars in front of the store. I went there to buy breakfast because I left home without eating. It had been a long time since I last visited Lotteria. I always used to order the same thing since my student days. I got the Teriyaki Burger without mayonnaise, a small size potato, and a drink set for 560 yen. I don't eat burgers often, but sometimes I crave them. I love potatoes and shakes. I chose a coffee shake for my drink. Even without mayonnaise, the Teriyaki Burger still had a rich flavor, and the sweet and savory sauce on it was delicious. I prefer Lotteria's potatoes over McDonald's. The thinner fries suit my taste better than KFC's thicker ones. The shake was a bit runny and had a light taste. It brought back memories of my student days. I was happy that they open at 9 am, and the drive-thru was convenient. I might visit again when I feel nostalgic.

2016.11 It was convenient to eat quickly when I didn't have time. I tried the delicious cheeseburger as a single item. As usual, they don't give you water unless you ask for it. The patty had a meaty texture, but the size of the burger seemed smaller than I expected. They advertise using natural cheese for the first time in the industry, and I could taste the cheese flavor and richness, but at 380 yen, it is clearly overpriced. The appearance was a bit disappointing with a sloppy finish. I'll reserve my judgment for now. 2015.5 It's been a long time since I've been to Lotteria. Even though I vaguely remember coming to Lotteria Sapporo Yamanote store two years ago, I can't recall what I ate or who I was with. Before that, I hadn't been to Lotteria for about 20 years... Feeling a bit hungry at an odd time, I decided to buy a hamburger to satisfy my cravings. When I ordered the shrimp burger, they said it would take about five minutes to prepare, so I was slightly hopeful that they would put effort into cooking it. While waiting, I went to the restroom, but it was a unisex one and only one person was visible inside, making it inconvenient. When the hamburger arrived, they didn't bring any water. The service was not bad, but at McDonald's, even if you order a 100 yen burger, they give you water, so I felt a bit uneasy as I started eating. They said they used plenty of natural shrimp, and I was happy to find a good amount of shrimp with a decent texture in it. But I could also taste the saltiness, giving it a junk food vibe as I quickly finished it! The non-smoking area was not well-separated, and I felt like I would be more comfortable in my car, so I quickly said thank you and headed back to my car. I was lured in by the commercials and reviews and couldn't resist trying the collaboration product with Kappa Ebisen. It had been a while since I last visited Lotteria. The store was quite old, with a lot of history. - Visit Date: February 15, 2015 (Sunday) / Morning - Purpose: Breakfast with my spouse - Order: Kappa Ebisen Burger and Furupote Set (760 yen) - Order to Service Time: A little over 5 minutes - Food Impressions: The burger didn't really taste like Kappa Ebisen, it was just a regular shrimp burger. The Furupote made me feel like I was eating Kappa Ebisen, which was exciting. The cola was Pepsi NEX, nothing special. The wrapping paper was very cute. - Recommended Point: They have a drive-thru. It had been a while since I had a hamburger, and I realized that they are quite expensive. I found myself thinking that I would rather have ramen instead.

July 2012: It had been a while since I visited the Lotteria Yamanote store. This store, located in Yamanote, Nishi Ward, Sapporo, is yet to be reviewed. It is situated along Yamanote Street, across from the Lucky Yamanote store. For the exact location, please check on Tabelog. I often visit the Lucky Yamanote store for shopping every week, so this Lotteria store is the most convenient for me. I realized that I hadn't visited since becoming a reviewer, so I decided to stop by. Although they have a drive-thru, I opted to purchase inside the store. The interior seemed cleaner than before. The female staff at this store used to be mostly older women, but now there were younger staff as well. I ordered Chef Kawagoe's Grilled Shrimp Burger and three sets of fries to go. Until the end of August, they were offering milkshakes at half price, so I enjoyed one inside the store. I waited in the non-smoking section for about 5 minutes, sipping on my milkshake, until they brought my burger to my table. After finishing my milkshake, I headed home, but my usual companion suddenly wanted to eat some fries, so we stopped and had some. - Chef Kawagoe's Grilled Shrimp Burger: A juicy shrimp burger with lettuce and carbonara tartar sauce. The flavor is mild and pleasant. It would be better if they put more tartar sauce on the entire burger. Priced at 480 yen. They also gave me a free coupon for a small fries on my next visit. It would be more appealing if the price was a bit lower. - Milkshake: A cold and refreshing drink, perfect for summer. It's slightly tangy and suits the summer season well. Personally, I prefer it a bit less sweet. I tried the Strawberry Milkshake for 210 yen, but until the end of August, it was only 105 yen. The Lotteria store is quite busy even on weekdays, with a nearby high school contributing to the customer traffic. With a drive-thru and a spacious parking lot, it's easy to shop here. Both Lotteria and McDonald's often have new, expensive items that I don't usually buy again. I feel satisfied with their regular burgers, but I still end up purchasing the new items. After shopping, the cold and sweet milkshake helped me feel refreshed. I might just return to my usual routine of visiting this store. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch visit with family. Ordered the delicious cheeseburger set. Used a coupon from the app. Got small size drinks and fries. The cheeseburger was great with just the right amount of toppings. The fries were crispy and tasty. The restaurant has a lot of history. It's non-smoking but no partition between smoking area. Kids enjoyed cheese sticks, fries, and fried chicken. They looked delicious.

Visit on September 26, 2021! The set included a Japanese-style half-cooked moon-viewing shrimp burger, small fries, and 3 pieces of chicken nuggets for 650 yen. The egg in the burger was not half-cooked as expected, but rather overcooked like a hard-boiled egg. The shrimp patty was not as juicy as before, but rather tough like dried shrimp.
