The seafood robatayaki is delicious. It seems like they are running it alone, but adding another person or simplifying the operation by serving only canned drinks could make the service faster. The grilled oysters are amazing, and the king crab is delicious but a bit expensive.

Day-drinking trip in May 2022 (๑´∀`) Along the canal, there is a branch of a robatayaki restaurant in a small garden called Deppon Koji. It opens at 11:30 AM and is perfect for day-drinking! The seating is only at the counter and may be difficult for larger groups. A classic medium-sized beer costs 550 yen. Unfortunately, the foam is not well-maintained. The appetizer costs 300 yen and is homemade. The crunchy Matsumae pickles have a great texture. The robatayaki dishes are a bit on the pricier side. When in Otaru, you have to try the "Aotsubu" (2 pieces for 480 yen) - they are natural and taste best with a drizzle of soy sauce. The "oyster" (1 piece for 600 yen) is slightly larger in size, origin unknown, well-washed, with a subtle taste of the sea. Not bad, but nothing extraordinary for someone from Hokkaido. It's a luxurious environment here (´ω｀). Thank you for the meal (^ω^)

Seafood is delicious and you can also drink alcohol relatively cheaply, so it's really good. I stopped by for a bit, but the staff were friendly and I ended up becoming a repeat customer.
