I arrived around 12:15, no other customers. I sat at the calm counter seat in the back. It's been hot in Sapporo lately and my appetite has been down, so I was thinking of getting the spicy whole saury rice bowl for 660 yen. The staff asked, "The usual?" and I couldn't help but say "Yes!" It's my favorite dish, so no problem at all. The food was served promptly in about 5 minutes. The staff wasn't very friendly, but not rude either. The miso soup was delicious, as always. You can get free refills of rice and miso soup if you want. The fried oysters with tartar sauce were tasty, and the zangi (fried chicken) was crispy and flavorful. The portion of the oysters seemed a bit smaller, but the zangi was larger than before. The price remained the same despite rising costs, which was great. The pickled radish was a nice palate cleanser. Even though my appetite was low due to the summer heat, I finished everything. It was so delicious! Thank you for the meal! The oyster fry and salted zangi set here is definitely a good choice! It's a happiness to be able to eat this for under 1,000 yen.

Today, I visited with the intention of having a fried oyster lunch, but when I arrived around 12:50, I was told, "I'm sorry, lunch is over." It seems that all the oysters for cooking, including fried foods, were sold out. Even though it was this time, who ate so much? I resisted the urge to retort and instead ordered 5 fresh oysters in the shell for 1800 yen and a draft beer for 650 yen. The oysters were opened one by one on the spot, so they were incredibly fresh. There's no way they wouldn't be delicious! Someone said, "Oysters are a drink!" or something like that... I devoured them in an instant. The draft beer was Sapporo Classic, which was also great! I wanted to drink sake as well, but it was still lunchtime so I refrained. Next time, I really want to get my hands on the fried oyster lunch. I want to come back in the evening to leisurely enjoy some sake.

I used this place to socialize with friends. My friends like beer, so they ordered a beer tasting set from another beer specialty store. As a non-drinker, I ordered oolong tea and oysters at this place. They have a unique counter and a shared table area like a food court, which makes it easy to enjoy together.

I visited because I was feeling a bit hungry. This time, I ordered 'Lemon Sour', 'Grilled Whelk (2 pieces)', and 'Thick-Kishiwada Maruemon Charcoal-Grilled Oysters' x2. Both the oysters and whelks were delicious! You can also choose to have the oysters raw. Today, I chose to have them grilled, but there are still other shellfish dishes I want to try, so I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal!٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

By the way, they also serve lunch here! I decided to go with the oyster fry lunch, and it was a great choice. The oysters here are always delicious and reliable. The rice was surprisingly good, it was my first time trying it. The miso soup was just right, I'm satisfied with the flavor. If you're ever unsure about what to order for lunch, this place is a safe bet. Thank you for the meal!

I finally got to go after missing out due to COVID last time and the time before that~☺️ I thought it was a small restaurant, but it turned out to be more like a food court area^_^ First, I tried the grilled oysters, which were served in a very rare state. It was more like seared than grilled, but it was delicious! For those who are not a fan of raw food, I recommend asking for it to be cooked more. Next up was the fried oysters! They were freshly fried on the spot. The thick oysters were perfectly crispy on the outside and rich in flavor. I wanted to order more, but I have more dishes to try so I held back (lol). Then, I had the steamed clams. The clams were huge! It's been a while since I had such big clams. They were also thick and delicious. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

My friend from Fukuoka found this restaurant for us to try. We had fresh oysters and tsubo, and they were incredibly delicious. The owner, who is the father, was very friendly. When I ordered a second highball, he automatically offered a set with oysters at a discounted price without me having to say anything. It made me happy. If you don't feel like going all the way to Susukino but want to enjoy oysters and have a little drink before heading home, I think this place is great. ☻

Arrived in Sapporo, couldn't wait for dinner and had a quick toast with a highball and fresh oysters. The oysters had a great ocean scent and were delicious. On a certain holiday, I noticed that my review had disappeared during lunch, so I decided to ask again. This restaurant is located inside HUG Mart in Tanukikoji 5-chome and they specialize in oysters from eastern Hokkaido. The place is tucked away at the back and while the surrounding shops have changed, this one has remained steadfast with an L-shaped counter and a public dining area. The background music is a mix of Western music and something unique. On this day, I decided to try the "Oyster Fry Set (1390 yen)" from the menu, which is usually enjoyed with alcohol, but since I don't drink, I opted for a more traditional choice. Hmm, the price has definitely gone up since the last time I was here. Taking a bite, the oysters in the crispy batter are cooked well, with a good variety of sizes including some larger ones. I'm not an expert on oysters, but they taste decent. The mayonnaise and tartar sauce with a bit of a kick, along with the creamy sauce, complement the oysters nicely and speed up the rice-eating process. I also noticed shredded cabbage, miso soup, pickles, and rice on the side. I suddenly remembered the lively atmosphere of the restaurant when it first opened... It was a good meal.

The restaurant is located in HUG Eat Tanuki Koji Yokocho. There are various shops, and you can eat and drink in the shared space in the center, as well as at each individual shop. The purpose of visiting this restaurant is to eat oysters from Akkeshi. I sat at the L-shaped counter in the restaurant. Of course, I ordered Fukushi sake from Kushiro. Now, I will enjoy Akkeshi oysters. The combination is irresistible. Akkeshi oysters with sake are the best! The oysters could have been a little bigger, though. The grilled oysters with tartar sauce were delicious too! The grilled clams were also delicious, but it was a shame that the guts tore when I tried to pull them out (laughs). In the end, I enjoyed two cups of sake and finished the meal. Thank you for the meal.

Haskap sour is unique and delicious. I ran around looking for sweet vinegar-pickled saury as a souvenir, but couldn't find it. The fried oysters were double the size of what I usually eat, packed with meat and tasted like real oysters. I always thought I was eating oysters based on the texture... The tartar sauce was plentiful, and the konbu soy sauce and shichimi on the table were delicious. The guy at the restaurant wasn't very friendly, but I've been to many places with good service but bad food, so I think taste is the most important service. It seems you can get a set meal even at night, but it was too destructive for a rice lover like me to be distracted by rice.

Located inside HUG Eat on Tanuki Koji Street, this place allows you to enjoy Akkeshi oysters prepared in various ways such as raw, steamed, grilled, and fried. It's not about being cheap, but about being able to taste the large Akkeshi oysters properly. It's convenient to be able to casually stop by and enjoy a little bit of Akkeshi oysters. In Sapporo, there are many restaurants where you can eat oysters for 99 yen, but the feeling of eating small oysters is not the same. Here, you can enjoy the full flavor of large Akkeshi oysters. They are open from lunchtime, making it perfect for Sapporo food hopping.

I wasn't satisfied with my first choice, so I decided to try another place. I was craving for fresh oysters, so I explored the area and ended up at Ooakanki. I ordered fresh oysters (3 pieces), fried oysters, and grilled surf clams because I was impressed by the delicious surf clam I had earlier in the day. My companion enjoyed the fresh oysters. The fried oysters were the best I've ever had, with thick and sweet meat. The homemade tartar sauce was also delicious! I knew about this food court, but I didn't realize they had such amazing food. It made me realize that you never know until you try.

I had been wanting to visit the "灯台下暗し" series for a while, so I finally decided to go. When I arrived, there was only one other group and one individual customer. They offered a highball and oyster set, but unfortunately they didn't have beer. So I ordered a beer and a set of three oysters - raw, steamed, and grilled. The oysters from Akkeshi are known for being large and flavorful. I enjoyed the classic local beer and savored the oysters. They were delicious, especially the raw ones. Overall, it was a fun lunchtime drink. I think next time I'll try the highball set.

Tanuki-koji HUG Mart in Tanuki-koji, had a casual drink for the second round while enjoying a bottle of beer! The drink was delicious! This is the kind of drink you can have forever. This time, the goal was to bar hop a few times, so we left after about 30 minutes. If you want a proper meal, they also have set meals available. In the end, we ended up spending a long time at another restaurant and our plan to visit multiple places with 10,000 yen in Tanuki-koji only lasted for 3 places.

I visited Oogoshikan for the first time! The name of the restaurant really gives off that Oogoshikan vibe. Oysters seem to be their specialty. I ordered a beer, but it wasn't very cold... Looks like it's going to be a long day. Since I can't eat oysters, I ordered some other items. Steamed clams for 430 yen (excluding tax) and salted fried chicken & potatoes for 500 yen (excluding tax). The prices are quite reasonable. The steamed clams were big and delicious, although the slightly low temperature was a bit of a concern. The salted fried chicken & potatoes had a good amount of volume. The fried chicken was crispy and tasty. This place seems to be all about fried food. The potatoes were cut in large pieces, and the flavor of the potatoes was rich. Oh, and I had a second beer, which was served at the exact same temperature as the first one. They didn't provide any appetizers. Thank you, Oogoshikan, for the meal!

On the last day of my stay in Sapporo, I visited a restaurant that I had been wanting to try. This place specializes in oyster dishes from Akkeshi. I ordered a luxurious set meal that included Akkeshi oyster fry and fresh oysters. The oyster fry was delicious as expected from fresh oysters. The meal also came with oyster miso soup. It was a feast of oysters with two fresh oysters included. I really enjoyed the meal.

A must-visit shop when in Sapporo. I always stop by just to eat fresh oysters, so my stay is usually less than 5 minutes. The shop serves live oysters with shells, delivered daily from Akkeshi, and shucks them right in front of you. You can taste the sea aroma, saltiness, and sweetness of the oysters the moment you put them in your mouth.

At the second party, I quickly had a drink. I ordered live oysters and fried oysters. HAG Mart has a nice street food vibe, but it feels a bit lacking. Maybe that's why the staff also seem uninspired. The oysters are delicious though. In a way, it's not the kind of place where you feel like staying long, so you can just have a quick drink and leave.

A shop specializing in Akkeshi oysters. The shop is located in HUG Eat Tanuki-koji Yokocho. In this Yokocho, there are various shops, and you can bring dishes from different shops to the central food court-like table seats to eat. However, since I was alone, I sat at the counter of Da Akkeshi. First, I ordered Maruemon oysters with shells in raw and grilled. I chose Fukushi as my drink, which came in a ceramic cup. It was easy to drink, and although it wasn't specified, it was probably junmai sake. The oysters arrived quickly. The raw oysters had no fishy smell and showed high freshness. The taste was delicious with just a hint of salt. The grilled oysters were also delicious, with a concentrated flavor. However, they didn't have a strong taste. I also added sweet vinegar-pickled Pacific saury. It was similar to pickled mackerel and tasted great. It was also delicious with a little kombu soy sauce and shichimi. I also added grilled scallops. They were large and had a good texture, but I might prefer the oysters. While it's cheaper to eat oysters at this izakaya than at other restaurants, eating only oysters here can add up. It might be better to go with a few people and enjoy oysters along with dishes from other surrounding shops.

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen for this designated rare disease. Unfortunately, there is still no medication that suits me. This review is based on my condition and consultation. Likes and comments may be delayed, so thank you in advance. [September 2019] This is the 4th review, and "Daiakanki" is a restaurant that focuses on Akkeshi-produced "shellfish". They offer Akkeshi-produced oysters, clams, and other shellfish all year round. Fresh oysters are delivered daily from Akkeshi Fishery Cooperative. The "Akkeshi-produced clam rice porridge" that I had last time was very good. As it has started to cool down in autumn, I decided to have it for lunch again. We shared a common eat-in seat, and the staff brought the table to us as usual. Akkeshi-produced clam rice porridge: A piping hot rice porridge with a salty egg base. It contained 10 large clams. The good flavor comes from the many clams. Pickled daikon with sake lees Price: 646 yen (tax included) The "Akkeshi-produced clam rice porridge" is a rice porridge with a salty egg base. The good flavor comes from the many clam shells. Inside the restaurant, the air conditioning is on, so it's not as hot as in the summer. It's so hot that I start to sweat, but it doesn't lose to the air conditioning. It's simple but tastes delicious. I think it will taste even better as it gets cooler. Next time, I might try the "Akkeshi-produced steamed clams". It was delicious, thank you for the meal.
