Visit date 2018.11.29 ROUTE INN Kitami Odori Nishi, this is the restaurant on the 1st floor. I had only ever had the breakfast buffet here before, but this time I came for dinner for the first time. The dinner hours are from 18:00 to 22:00 and the menu is quite extensive. They offer sashimi, grilled dishes, fried foods, rice dishes, and the prices are reasonable. It's great for salarymen. However, the service is a bit slow as there was only one staff member serving the whole restaurant. Some customers had left because of the wait. It's recommended for those who have time to spare. I couldn't leave the hotel, so I enjoyed my meal while watching the news. Sometimes, it's not bad to relax in the hotel restaurant during a business trip. I ordered the following items: Oden (580 yen), Assorted Tempura (480 yen), Juicy Karaage (580 yen), Gyoza (300 yen), Niboshi Ramen (680 yen), Beer (500 yen), and Cold Sake x2 (500 yen each). All of this came to only 4,120 yen, which is cheap! Since I come here every month, maybe I should keep a bottle (laughs). The food is just like a regular izakaya. It's perfect when you don't feel like going out. It was a great nightcap. Thank you for the meal.

Root Inn Kitami Odori Nishi 1st floor for breakfast. It's a breakfast buffet with more variety than I expected and looks delicious. Salad, scrambled eggs, shumai, bacon, ham, grilled saury, scrambled eggs, rice, natto, miso soup, and two glasses of milk are the same options everywhere, but I felt like this one was a bit tastier. Thank you for the meal. The only downside is that it's a bit of a walk from the downtown area, but they don't charge for parking, so it might be worth it. I might stay here again.
