グルメハンター・酔いどれ天使
Date and time: September 18, 2015 (Friday) 12:30 PM - Located at 15-chome, Minami 4-jo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo. A restaurant along Minami 3-dori, on the south side of the medical university. There was a flag outside the restaurant that caught my attention, and upon further investigation, I found out that they serve a bowl made with beef from Yakumo. Additionally, there was a sign on the exterior saying, "We have started making fresh soba noodles!!" During lunchtime on a weekday at 12:30 PM, the interior of the restaurant had an L-shaped counter surrounding the kitchen. Tables were set up by combining two 2-seater tables. The customers included two young individuals from the medical university at the counter, a solo elderly woman, and a group of three elderly individuals at a table. I was torn between choosing the beef bowl and the soba noodles, but ultimately decided to go with the soba. I opted for the soba set, which came with two side dishes, but the owner asked me if I was okay with no rice, so I changed my order to include tororo (grated yam) rice. The soba noodles were made with 100% buckwheat flour and had a homemade feel to them, with a fragrant aroma. The flour used was not from Yakumo, but from Kokumatsunai. The noodles were slightly irregular in thickness, giving them a homemade touch. The dipping sauce was a bit on the lighter side. The condiments included green onions, grated daikon radish, and mountain wasabi. The tororo rice had a yellow hue, with the egg already mixed in. It had a mild dashi flavor, and soy sauce was provided on the side. The two side dishes were simmered dried radish, eggplant, and cabbage, as well as cucumber and seaweed in vinegar. I also noticed tempting menu items like Hokki clam curry. The steak bowl made with Yakumo beef also looked delicious. Since there is only one owner, there might be a wait during busy lunch hours.
