While wandering around Stella Place, I stumbled upon a nice Japanese miscellaneous goods store! As I was browsing around, I found some delicious looking cookies at 30% off, so I decided to buy them! They were discounted because their expiration date was approaching. I also bought a Baumkuchen, but I ended up eating it before taking a picture, haha. They had Nara's Japanese black tea and unique sweets that had an extra touch, and the taste was really delicious! The items also look perfect for gifting, so I think I will use this store again when I need to give presents. Thank you for the delicious treats!

Visited Sapporo Stella Place for the first time in December 2020. I usually only used to go to places like Sanseido Bookstore or Shimamura Music, but I started exploring more after using Sapporo Station. "Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten". I thought it was a miscellaneous goods store, but when I peeked inside, they had "Japanese seasonings" and "ingredients" similar to "Tomizawa Shoten". They also had cooking utensils and clothing, so it's like a "lifestyle store" I suppose. They even had "Japanese-style dashi packs". They have things like "Kushino Farm's homemade yuzu kosho" for 400 yen. During this time of year, our family usually has "nabe" for dinner on holidays. From simple "yudofu" to "yosenabe", "mizutaki", "seafood nabe", "lamb shabu-shabu" to "pork sukiyaki", we have nabe dishes depending on our mood. The key to a good nabe dish is the "sauce" and "condiments". The ingredients don't cost much, but you have to use good quality sauce. And various condiments play a big role. Yuzu kosho, which was originally not familiar in Hokkaido, but now that I use the authentic one, I'm addicted to the "fragrance" and "spiciness". This homemade yuzu kosho will definitely come in handy this winter.

It was 1404 yen expensive (-.-) I saw it on TV yesterday... searched for "Nakagawa Masashichi Sapporo". Found it at Stella! I bought it right away to make sure. I wanted to try the regular one with red bean paste... It was pretty delicious. I get excited when I finish it myself! And at 200 yen per piece, it feels luxurious and delicious! I've never had such a crispy monaka before... The tin box is cute too! What should I put in it (^-^; ===========

I found this place on the way from Daimaru to Stella. It seems like it's not new, but has been around for a while. It's a miscellaneous goods store? They have unique socks, carefully selected clothing, and rare food items from all over the country, all with a vibe similar to Kusefuku. The staff are friendly and even shared their own experiences while explaining the products. "This one is super spicy, I couldn't handle it at all. I added an egg to make it more bearable, but it's really, really spicy!!" They explained with enthusiasm. The staff really put in effort to explain things. There are a lot of people out there who are into extreme flavors, you know. Have you heard of Peyang's Hell? Well, I didn't mention that, but I ended up buying it. With more time spent at home these days, this kind of demand has increased, right? Even if it's a bit pricey, I feel like trying it. It's been a while since I went shopping. Looking forward to trying these out!

Received a gift from very close friends! It's mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and tai (sea bream) seaweed flakes. I thought it was flakes, but it turned out to be seaweed sprinkles (laughs). The amount of seaweed used is no joke. So when you use it like flakes, the surface of the rice is covered in seaweed, making it a very luxurious eating experience.
