A small street food stall with only 8 counter seats specializing in deep-fried skewers. The shop can be a bit hard to find as sometimes they are closed even with a signboard out, but the lanterns are a good indicator. It took me three visits to finally get in. The owner had been sick and was still recovering, which is why they were closed on days that weren't their regular holidays. The prices are roughly divided into three categories: 100-150 yen, 180-200 yen, and 220-250 yen. They also offer a recommended drink and a set of 5 assorted skewers for 1200 yen, but since I couldn't drink, I opted for the assorted skewer set. The set includes 10 skewers for 1800 yen, 15 for 2600 yen, and 20 for 3500 yen, featuring a good balance of meat and seafood skewers without any vegetables. Highlights were the quail egg, shrimp with squid, shiitake mushroom with scallop, among others. The asparagus wrapped in pork and the chicken tenderloin with plum and cheese were also quite satisfying. They offer various seasonings like rock salt, kelp salt, curry salt, matcha salt, and sauce, but unfortunately, no soy sauce. The total cost for two people with soft drinks was a little over 3500 yen, which felt reasonable considering the hearty portions. The large Vienna sausage skewer for under 150 yen was a pleasant surprise. This place is recommended for when you want to enjoy a variety of skewers without breaking the bank. Thank you for the meal!

This is my favorite restaurant ❤️ I have been going since I was 20 years old! The delicious kushikatsu is not greasy and easy to eat! Among them, I recommend not only the kushikatsu but also the side menu hamburger... I wonder if it's still available. I feel like going there again after a long time!

This is a skewered tempura restaurant in a food stall alley. When drinking at a food stall, I always use this shop the most. I order beer first, and cabbage in a small dish comes out, which I eat with salt. In addition to skewered tempura menu items such as meat, vegetables, and seafood, there are also seasonal foods and items like Shiraoi beef croquettes and a set of 5 skewered tempura with a drink for 950 yen. I enjoy it with matcha salt, kelp salt, curry salt, or rock salt. The rock salt is said to be from a 230 million-year-old rock salt in Germany. I tend to order the same menu items every time, but I enjoy them. The shop is not very spacious, so there are often times when I can't find a seat, but I will definitely go again.

The place is located near the center of the drinking alley in Tomakomai, with about 8 small food stalls. There are various types of stalls, including a lamb stall, a Korean cuisine stall specializing in yakitori and hot pot, an Italian stall, and even a sushi stall. I visited one of the stalls that serves deep-fried skewers. The interior of the store is quite small with only 8 counter seats. Despite the cramped space, the friendly atmosphere made it quite cozy, so I gave it a positive rating. I ordered a set of 5 skewers with a drink, chicken karaage, and spicy eggplant, as well as various other skewers and dishes... I forgot what else I ordered! Each skewer costs 100 yen or 150 yen, and the set of 5 skewers with a drink allows you to choose 5 skewers from the 100 yen options. I couldn't decide, so I left it to the owner's choice. The skewers come with matcha salt, curry salt, sauce, wasabi mayo, tartar sauce, and ancient rock salt for you to enjoy. The freshly fried skewers were delicious, and the variety of flavors made it enjoyable. The spicy eggplant recommended by my companion was a hit! It is very spicy with green chili peppers, so it's a must-try for spicy food lovers. The service point that impressed me the most was the ability to order delivery from other stalls within the alley while dining at the skewer stall (limited to open restaurants). This allows you to enjoy a variety of dishes like sushi and chige hot pot while eating skewers. Overall, I was impressed by the concept of the alley as a whole, so my rating reflects that.

Tomakomai, a corner of the bustling street stall alley. There are a few other shops besides this one, so we should have gone hopping. I was worried it might be heavy because it's kushikatsu, but it was totally fine. The generous serving of cabbage as a starter was much appreciated. It was a different taste experience when enjoyed with matcha salt. I recommend the sasami umeniku. Yes, I just really like sasami...
