I used to love the "Marumaru Apple Pie" here♪ Back in the day, the apple slices in syrup were much bigger. They were like cutting a normal apple in half. I wonder if they still have that size now? But I bet the taste hasn't changed. There's something similar at the bread corner in Arks, right? I tend to buy the Sweet Potato Bread, attracted by its shiny appearance lol. The taste is just normal, but it's reasonably priced and delicious. There are plenty of tasty bread options! The display is beautiful, and it's fun to choose. The staff members have lovely smiles and are very friendly. I'm curious about the muffins too♪

Along Route 5, inside the Hokuren Shop in Asari, there is a bakery called "Apical." The salt bread is priced at 80 yen (tax included). While it is not served warm, the crust has a nice crispy texture, and the crumb has a slight chewiness that is not bad but could be improved. The egg salad sandwich is priced at 150 yen (tax included). The mayonnaise is not overpowering, allowing the gentle flavor of the egg salad to come through. The French bread is slightly moist due to the egg salad, but this moisture seems to blend the egg salad and the bread dough together. Overall, the bakery mainly offers sweet and savory breads, with prices ranging from 130 to 180 yen being the norm. I wonder if this shop is part of the Hokuren Shop chain? This is a bakery that I occasionally use on my way back from work. It's been around for a long time, but surprisingly no one had reviewed it yet. Yesterday, I bought some bread and had it for breakfast this morning. Butter Chicken Curry Bread (120 yen) is a classic fried bread with a rich and delicious curry inside. I'd like to try it fresh out of the oven. Crispy Apple Pie (120 yen) - I think that was the name. The pie itself doesn't have any special features, but the apple inside is delicious. Maybe it's because of the freshness. I was satisfied with both items more than their price. I quite like this place. Thank you for the meal. It was the 16th curry and curry-flavored item I've had this year.
