Located right in the heart of Susukino in Sapporo, our restaurant was fully booked even though we had made a reservation for a visit at 6:00 pm on a weekday, possibly due to business entertainment. Our restaurant specializes in kaiseki cuisine using fresh ingredients from Hokkaido, with many private rooms suitable for entertaining or formal occasions. This time, we reserved a course meal, which turned out to be incredibly voluminous! - Corn soup - Crab dishes - Assorted sashimi - Potato with butter - Grilled fish (cod) - Simmered fish (flounder) - Salad - Seafood fried rice - Assorted fruits The amount of food served was overwhelming, and the seafood fried rice even had the option for seconds, although it was impossible to eat more. However, it was thoughtful that they provided the leftovers as a souvenir. Each dish was made with fresh ingredients, allowing us to fully appreciate the flavors of each ingredient. The total cost per person, including drinks, was around 17,000 yen. It was a truly satisfying experience. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

It was a very delicious restaurant. I was already full after the first king crab, but everything was so tasty that I kept eating more and more. The prices seemed a bit high, but with this taste, it's understandable.

After the performance, we were taken to a restaurant where we were surrounded by an abundance of crab dishes - Taraba, Kegani, Hanasakigani - a crab triangle. I couldn't escape from the crab net. The crab miso was sweet and not overpowering, thanks to the careful workmanship. The ingredients were incredibly fresh. The ikura that came afterwards was also delicious, not too strong. It didn't have that overly salty taste that can be bad for your health. It was more like a dashi flavor. Very good. However, it seemed a waste to eat it as a standalone dish, so I saved some for the crab fried rice that was coming. Shrimp fry, scallop fry, oyster fry - a fry triangle. These were light and tasty. The crab shumai was fluffy. The butter-cooked Hokkaido potatoes were really sweet, something kids would love. Finally, the crab fried rice arrived. I mixed in the saved ikura from earlier. A treasure bowl from the sea was complete. The combination was as expected. I was so full, I couldn't even jump, the fried rice was packed. After devouring a lot of Hokkaido dishes, we headed back home.

This is Susukino. I came here with my close friends. We have always used Ichifusa for work and private gatherings. It has been a while since our last visit. If you are from out of town, I think this is a great place to enjoy the best of Hokkaido. The restaurant is not intimidating, and the chef will prepare dishes that suit your budget. This time, the dishes were simple but delicious, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. From kazunoko, king crab, hairy crab, scallops, sweet shrimp, to oysters... they were all so delicious! The vegetables served were also seasonal and complemented the dishes well. By the time we reached the fried rice at the end, everyone was already full! If you can't finish the rice dishes, they will pack it for you to take home. This consideration is wonderful. It's a great restaurant that makes you want to come back again! Thank you for the delicious meal!

I felt a bit intimidated calling it an izakaya, as it wasn't as formal as a traditional Japanese restaurant but still served high-quality dishes. My friend had made a reservation after gathering information about this place. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and the seafood was of excellent quality. The seating was table style, and there weren't any noisy customers, so we could relax. The sashimi was impressive in terms of portion size, freshness, and quality. The soup dishes had a hint of Hokkaido flavor, which was sweet and delicious. Everything was so beautifully prepared that it made me feel happy. I couldn't help but think that this was a top-notch restaurant in Sapporo, rather than focusing on some strange local ingredients.

When it comes to Sapporo, people think of Genghis Khan (grilled mutton), ramen, and fresh seafood. On the second night, we went to a local restaurant that specializes in local ingredients, recommended by the locals. We ordered the recommended course meal, starting with a sashimi platter. It had scallops, large Botan shrimp, octopus, abalone, squid, sea urchin, and tuna - all fresh and delicious! The Botan shrimp was particularly big, sweet, and tasty. The miso was also excellent. This sashimi platter went perfectly with alcohol. Next, we had a crab feast - salad style, boiled, and crab miso. It was as delicious as we had imagined. The grilled fish included hatahata and collar. The hatahata, in particular, was exquisite, with a sticky texture and great flavor. Then came the Meekwin - simple yet delicious, with a sweet and deep taste. We enjoyed it with cod roe and butter. Lastly, we had seafood fried rice and muskmelon for dessert. It was a course meal that truly allowed us to enjoy the flavors of Hokkaido. It may be conventional, but sometimes, this kind of meal is just perfect. Thank you for the feast.

This time, I went on a business trip to Sapporo after a long time. I met up with a senior colleague who lives in Sapporo and we went to Susukino. When asked what he wanted to eat, he said he wanted to eat delicious fish! So, we went to "Ichifuji," a place he used to use for entertaining clients, after more than ten years. The sashimi platter was overflowing with fresh seafood like squid, tsubugai, abalone, saury, flounder, and more. Everything was fresh and the shellfish was crunchy! Please see the photos. We got carried away with the conversation and ended up drinking too much, but we finished with a large, freshly steamed jumbo crab topped with butter and salted cod roe. This is a must-try when in Hokkaido. The bill was probably around half due to our excessive drinking.

I went on a business trip to Sapporo in mid-June. I had a drinking party at a sushi restaurant in Haneda, enjoyed champagne and Moriizou, and by the time I arrived in Chitose on JAL First Class, I was super drunk. I headed to "Ichifuku" after getting rid of the alcohol at the hotel's SPA. I highly recommend this place! This was my third time visiting. The staff are not very friendly, but the food is incredibly delicious! They bring out the Taraba crab with the meat already removed. It's always busy whenever I go. Reservations are a must! I love breaking up the crab miso and putting the meat on top. Ah, so happy! Every time I go, I think the shochu highballs at this restaurant are so strong that I feel like crying (laughs). The crab dumplings at this restaurant are also amazing. I ate to my heart's content and left fully satisfied! Thank you for the meal!

I visited this restaurant recommended by my mountain climbing friends. As a lover of shrimp and crab, Hokkaido is a paradise for me with its abundance of crabs. When I couldn't decide between Taraba or Kegani crabs, they said, "Just have both, we don't have a lot." They served me a generous portion of crab and crab miso, which was delicious. In response to my husband's request for abalone, they made a delicious abalone steak. The abalone in Hokkaido is said to be small but packed with flavor. I savored a bowl full of sea urchin and felt happy. The shrimp fry with tartar sauce was also incredibly tasty. The freshness of the tomatoes on the side made me reflect on the simplicity of city life. It was a great night, made even better with the recommended sake. The experienced waitress managed everything in the restaurant, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. Hokkaido women are so cool. I will definitely come back.
