June 2016, I stopped by after eating ★ Coffee 350 yen A delicious coffee with a well-balanced taste, with little acidity and bitterness. It was a bit too hot, but the lady brewed it carefully for me. "Would you like some?" she said, and I was served a colorful candy on top of a karinto. It brought back memories of my childhood when I used to eat it often at home. Thank you for the meal.
June 2014, There are rotating sushi restaurants like Shunraku, and on the way to places like Aeon and Morimoto from Saburoku, there was a shop that caught my eye every time I passed by. I called ahead to confirm the closing days and business hours and visited for the first time. There were two people at the table and one person at the counter. I thought they were customers, but they said, "Welcome." The shop was surprisingly spacious, and I was a bit lost about where to sit. The owner told me to sit at the counter, so I did. I couldn't find the menu... The lady asked me, "Would you like coffee?" and since I had confirmed in advance, I said, "You have toast, right?" A girl who was sitting at the counter (maybe a regular customer?) answered with a smile, "Yes, we do." I waited while watching a lunchtime variety show on the TV in front of me. The thick toast in the basket had cuts in it, making it easy to eat. It would have been better if it came with a salad or something. The iced coffee that appeared first was made by freezing the coffee, so it didn't get diluted even when it melted. "You don't have to drink it quickly, so that's nice, right?" the lady said. "I wanted you to enjoy it slowly, so I did it this way." When I entered, I felt like everyone was looking at me with a puzzled expression, but maybe they don't get many customers other than regulars. At first, I was unsure how things would turn out, but the owner is a cheerful person and the lady is kind. Since it's a coffee salon (they also had karaoke sets), I think I'll try the hot coffee next time. Thank you for the meal!
