I stayed overnight, so I had breakfast again today. However, I'm starting to feel tired of eating haha. I thought the menu was a bit limited yesterday, but it turns out I just didn't see everything. I apologize. You can even order crepes and have them freshly made on the spot, so my wife even had a dessert crepe. Today's crepe was curry flavored and it was delicious. If I have the chance to go to Sapporo again, I still haven't tried soup curry and this hotel is where I'd like to stay again. Hokkaido has a lot of delicious food, so it's a dilemma for me, who can't eat much, where to focus haha.

This is breakfast in Sapporo. It is a buffet style, but my wife chose this hotel because they have crepes. Honestly, I don't think there are many items on the menu. But they have ikura, so there is a bit of Hokkaido feel. I was hoping for freshly made crepes, but they were actually pre-made and then reheated on a burner (just to give it a sear). They were delicious, but I was expecting them to be made in front of me like the hotel's omelettes. We arrived right at the opening time of 6:30 am and it was calm and we were able to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace.

I took a morning bath and entered the restaurant after 8 o'clock. Surprisingly, it wasn't too crowded (it started getting busier around 8:30, with mostly Asian group customers - many from Vietnam). They asked about seating preferences, so I chose a sofa seat. I ordered the main breakfast crepe and made my selections as it passed by. The menu options were not very abundant. The breakfast crepe was brought to my table, and the staff, although busy, provided good service. The breakfast crepe was delicious, with attention to detail in presentation and sauce. I will probably order it again tomorrow. The miso soup with plenty of vegetables was tasty. I ended with Hokkaido milk and ice cream, enjoying a nice breakfast.

Hotel near Sapporo Station with a large public bath. My husband suggested trying a new hotel, so we stayed at this newly opened hotel next to the Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo where we had stayed before. The check-in process was automated, which was convenient compared to the old system of filling out a registration form. However, I still had to provide the same information to the front desk staff, so it didn't save much time. The elevator had unique features like changing doors and efficient use of space. There was also a priority elevator for accessing the large public bath, which was a nice touch. The room was well-designed to make the most of the limited space, with a spacious bed. The breakfast information was provided during the automated check-in process, and the breakfast venue was on the 2nd floor. The hotel also had a restaurant called "Sankaku-do" that served crepes for lunch and dessert. The breakfast buffet featured colorful Staub pots and a live crepe station. I tried a crepe with salmon, scallops, onsen egg, ikura, and mushroom duxelles sauce, which was delicious. Overall, the breakfast was enjoyable with a variety of options to choose from.

This hotel is located on the west side of Sapporo Station. Next to it is the same series "Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo". I usually stay at budget business hotels, but this time I stayed at a slightly more expensive hotel using the current public subsidy discount. The room is spacious, which is a nice change from the cramped rooms I usually stay in. I checked in in the evening and went to the nearby "Hamkatsu Shrine" to have a drink and dinner. The food was cheap and delicious, but unfortunately, cigarette smoke was drifting in, so I ended up taking half of it to go. The hotel also has a large communal bath. The bath is quite spacious with a shallow end and a deep end. The women's bath has 9 shower stalls, a shower booth, and three seats with hairdryers in the dressing room. It's refreshing to soak in a large tub. I watched a cat program on BS TV and the anime "The Tale of the Heike" before going to bed. I don't have BS TV at home, so I watch it a lot in hotels. For breakfast, I had crepes with banana, fruit cocktail, and cream. I also enjoyed rice with salmon roe, salted squid, sea urchin with jellyfish, rolled kelp, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, grilled vegetables, gnocchi with meat sauce, smoked salmon, grapefruit, lychee, milk, orange juice, and tea. The breakfast was good, but for the price of 2000 yen, I felt it was a bit expensive. I would have liked more variety of cooked dishes for that price.

I went to the restaurant at 6:20 in the morning to have crepes for breakfast, but it was already getting crowded. By 7 o'clock, it was full. It was a strange combination of Hokkaido's specialty and crepes, but both were delicious. Crepes require a good sense of taste, so they were a bit challenging. There were also ikura, ankake yakisoba, bread, penne, and a variety of dishes. The room, bath, and location were all great, so I would love to go back again.
