I visited the restaurant on a Sunday at 11 am, with 2 groups of customers before me and many customers arriving after me. The place was almost full within 20 minutes of opening. I went for the all-you-can-eat braised pork. I ordered the double pork bowl, pork chop set meal, and pork cutlet. I had to wait for about 30 minutes, while my companions' meals arrived promptly. Finally, after about 40 minutes, my food arrived. The braised pork had a good flavor but was a bit dry for my liking. The double pork bowl was confusing as I couldn't tell the difference between the two types of meat. The meat quality varied, with some being tender and delicious, while others were dry. Overall, I would rate the experience as 4 out of 10. The charcoal flavor was lacking. Personally, I prefer the pork bowl at Sakuragaoka. I don't think this restaurant can compare to the authentic taste of Hokkaido. I won't be visiting again. Goodbye!

I heard about the delicious pork cutlet curry on Instagram and decided to try it out. You can choose from large, medium, or small sizes for the pork cutlet rice. I was hungry but decided to order a medium size. However, when it was served, I was surprised by the portion size - it was like a large size! The pork cutlet was also huge! The curry sauce was thick and flavorful, but it didn't quite reach the level of specialty shops. It tasted more like a typical cafeteria curry. The pork cutlet had a good chew to it, and I could slightly taste the sweetness of the fat. It was a struggle, but I managed to finish it. The portion size is quite large, so be careful when ordering. My stomach now feels like it's filled with "extreme pork" (laughs).

Visited after about a year. The menu has expanded with limited items, making it more dazzling than a year ago. I was initially worried when it first opened, but it seems to have become popular among locals. Feeling hearty today. Going for the Pork Cutlet Spaghetti! The "Cheemy" (¥1380) is a new menu item. It's a generous serving of pork cutlet meat topped with cheese (*´艸`)フフフッ♡ Seems like the representative of high calories. Let's dig in. It looked quite heavy, but surprisingly, the meat sauce was light in taste. Not bland, but not lacking in richness either. It's what you might call "cozy." Even a 50-year-old man found it very easy to eat. No heartburn or heaviness after eating. The pork cutlet is delicious too. Crispy and with a good chewy texture. It's a thick cutlet, about 1.5 cm thick. There aren't many places that serve such a solid pork cutlet spaghetti. Truly a specialist in pork dishes. Overall, I am completely satisfied with being able to enjoy such a pork cutlet spaghetti. The service was cheerful and friendly, making the dining experience very pleasant. Maybe I'll try the pork steak next time? (#´ᗜ`#)ニコニコ

I had some errands in Kushiro and while driving, I came across a new eatery. The sign read "Charcoal Rice House - Pork Extreme" and there was a sign for pork bowl. After finishing my errands, I decided to stop by for lunch. I parked my car in the front parking lot and entered the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant smelled delicious with the aroma of pork bowl. The staff greeted me and I chose to sit at the counter since I was dining alone. There were already three groups of customers. I looked at the menu and decided to go with the pork bowl. I ordered a regular portion with 6 slices of pork and upgraded to premium pork for an additional fee. The dish arrived quickly, within about 5 minutes. I first tried the miso soup and found it to be too salty, which raised my blood pressure. Then I tried the pork, but it lacked the charcoal flavor and the sauce was too bland, lacking the smoky taste. It felt like the pork was dipped in the sauce after being cooked. Even though I paid extra for premium pork, it was dry and lacked fat. It seems like this restaurant wouldn't survive in the competitive pork bowl market of Obihiro. It was a disappointment. Goodbye.

Visit date December 26, 2021
Lunch on this day was with a companion, and we visited Buta no Kiwami. We arrived around 11:00. There were no customers before or after us. Our order was:
- Buta no Matsu (Pork Set): 1,100 yen
- Buta Special (Pork Special): 980 yen
The food was served in about 10 minutes. Buta no Matsu consisted of 8 pieces of pork and 300g of rice in a pork bowl. You can choose the type of meat and the amount of rice, but we decided to try the default options. The default meat was Shimari Pork, which was tender and had a charcoal aroma. The pork bowl was decent and if we had upgraded the meat, it might have been even more delicious, but overall, we were satisfied with what we had. It was nice to have the option to add extra sauce to the pork bowl on the table. However, the miso soup that came with the meal was just okay. The Buta Special set included the pork bowl and meat spaghetti. The pasta was a bit too firm, and the sauce seemed like it might be commercial-grade. While it's good for those who want to try both, if you're not too hungry, just the pork bowl would be enough. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Thank you for the meal.

A new dining establishment specializing in charcoal-grilled pork bowls has opened in place of the original fresh pasta shop, Emus. The interior is clean and newly decorated with Christmas decorations, creating a cute atmosphere. The waitress, a single female staff member, provided friendly and efficient service. Upon ordering, I was informed that for an additional fee, I could upgrade to premium pork options. For an extra ¥150, I could choose the Himawari Field Pork from Nayoro, and for ¥250, I could opt for the Shiramibuta Pork from Asahikawa. Both types of pork are exclusive to this restaurant in Kushiro. Intrigued, I decided to go for the Shiramibuta Pork. I ordered the "Take of Pork" bowl with the upgrade to Shiramibuta Pork for ¥250. The bowl arrived in a few minutes. First, I noticed the aroma, which was dominated by the scent of sansho pepper rather than charcoal grilling. The pork was tender, sweet, and flavorful, but slightly dry and lacking juiciness. The sauce on the pork bowl was subtle and did not leave a strong impression. It felt like it was missing depth and complexity in flavor. The rice was cooked slightly softer than usual, which may have been a one-time occurrence. Unfortunately, the miso soup was served lukewarm, which was disappointing. I also enjoyed the all-you-can-eat braised pork until December 1st. It had a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a homely, not overpowering flavor. Overall, the meal was decent but not exceptionally delicious. It lacked impact and had a youthful impression that was hard to shake off. In Kushiro, there are other restaurants like "Butafuku" and "Restaurant Moonlight" known for their pork bowls. It remains to be seen how well this restaurant's pork bowls will be received by the locals. I look forward to seeing its progress in the future. *Note: The parking lot is small and difficult to navigate, so caution is advised.

Really! Really delicious! Everything I eat is delicious, but the pork bowl and tonkatsu are the best! You can upgrade to brand pork for a higher price, but you can taste the highest quality pork. It tastes like raw meat, so there is no dryness and you can taste the sweetness of the meat itself. The tonkatsu also has a satisfying texture with both the cutlet and spaghetti, and I am very satisfied! Personally, I'm hooked on the limited 10 meals of BTSK. The demi omurice that my companion ate was also really delicious with authentic demi. We also order delivery at work, but the menu is so varied that we never get tired of it.

In April 2023, I went to my usual supermarket, Hikari, and found a new bento box that I had never seen before! It was a pork bowl from a shop I had never been to before, called "Goku Pork." I decided to buy it and try it at home. When I opened the lid, there were four slices of pork shoulder inside. I heated it up in the microwave and tried it. It was just a regular pork bowl, but it was delicious. However, I felt that the balance between the rice and meat was off. I wished there was a bit more meat, maybe at least one more slice. In the end, I ended up eating mostly rice with sauce. It cost 900 yen. Maybe it's because of the rising cost of ingredients? Overall, I'm glad I tried this bento box from this new shop. Thank you for the meal.

"The Ultimate Pork" I tend to react to the name of the restaurant, even though I don't like places that call themselves high-end bread shops, is it really okay to call yourself "The Ultimate Pork"? I feel like I'm setting the bar too high. I'm alone in Kushiro and I've already decided not to go back to Kushiro, but I end up going to restaurants that try to lure me in. I have written in my notes "Pork Zangi set meal" so I decide to give them a call. They answer in a friendly manner. When I arrive, the place is packed with cars, but it turns out there's only one group of customers leaving. They seemed unsure if I wanted a set meal or just a single item, but I didn't clarify, so they didn't either. If I could have just a single item, that would be better. The total cost is 600 yen, including a 100 yen container fee. I can't tell if it's worth 600 yen just by looking at it, it looks more like a 300 yen meal. The staff were all very nice. The taste is good, not too strong, but the meat is a bit tough, maybe because it was reheated. It doesn't have a strong odor, which is good, but it feels a bit cheap. I always think, even if you eat in the restaurant, the cost is incurred, but for takeout, you just hand over the food and that's it, no extra costs. So, I really can't understand why they charge a container fee. Does it really cost 100 yen for a container? I can't really understand it. In the end, this is just my opinion. I can write whatever I want, right? But I just can't seem to understand it.

I found out about this place on Instagram. They were having an all-you-can-eat braised pork belly for their grand opening, but since I did takeout, I couldn't enjoy it... what a shame. I ordered the Pork Chop Tonkatsu with Bamboo Shoots Meat. It's disappointing that miso soup is not included in takeout, but the taste is delicious! The pork chop is tender and has a great charcoal flavor. The bamboo shoots with pork are exceptional with 6 slices of pork, sauce, and rice. The tonkatsu meat is huge and satisfying! Although the name of the restaurant might make women hesitate, it is family-friendly. Charcoal grilling is so good. I want to try a different menu next time.

I went to a cafe nearby and on the way back, I bought a pork bowl for takeout! The inside of the store was spacious and very clean! As soon as I entered, there was a cheerful greeting of "Welcome!" When I asked if it was okay for takeout, they responded very kindly and even included a complimentary tea! The customer service here is fantastic! I reheated it for dinner and the pork was tender! The sauce was also delicious! It came with extra sauce and sansho pepper, which was great! You can also upgrade to a premium pork for an additional charge, so I would like to try that next time.
