I found a sign saying "Lunch has started" as I was passing by, it's a yakiniku restaurant in Chitose. Since it's not a road I usually take, I didn't know about it. I checked it out and later visited with my boss. I ordered the Genghis Khan set meal for 1,000 yen. There are four lunch menu options. My boss ordered the Sagari grilled beef bowl, so I chose the Genghis Khan set meal to try something different. Soft drink was included, so I had iced coffee served before the meal. For lunch, they cook the meat for you instead of you doing it yourself. In the evening, they have charcoal-grilled yakiniku, so the table is clear without a grill on top. There is a smokeless chimney. A woman cooks in the back, while another woman serves and takes care of customers. The background music is from the TV show Hirunandesu. The set includes grilled vegetables, salad, namul, soup, and rice. Both the Sagari and Genghis Khan were slightly sweet in flavor. I thought there was a lot of rice, but I ended up eating it all. The Genghis Khan had a good chewy texture. The place looked clean and I thought it had just opened, but it has been open for a year. They started serving lunch from August this year. I would like to see what it's like in the evening. Thank you for the meal.
