I visited the "Seicomart Kitaku 42jo Higashi 1-chome store" on February 23rd, which has a high repeat rate and is a convenience store originating from Hokkaido. I mainly used the Hot Chef service. Today, I visited at 3 pm for lunch with a focus on carbohydrates. I discovered a limited-time item from February 21st, which is Hokkaido-produced fried Atka mackerel <6 pieces> for 300 yen. It is fried Atka mackerel with the skin on. Normally, I don't eat the skin of dried Atka mackerel, but in Hokkaido, it's a rule(?) to eat it with the skin when it's fried. This item also comes with the skin, so I ate it normally. However, it's not as delicious as salmon skin... The main carbohydrate dish was the Pork Cutlet Curry for 604 yen. The thickness of the cutlet is as shown in the photo. It has a good balance of firmness and tenderness. The volume of the cutlet is about 100g. It used to be a different type of meat, but has it changed recently? The cutlets are in 6 pieces, and the breading doesn't come off easily, which is quite impressive. There is a topping of fukujinzuke, but it got mixed with the curry on the way. The curry sauce is more like a soup, with a strong sour taste but mild spiciness, suitable for everyone including children. I also bought a Seicomart original brand Sekomag Grapefruit Sour Strong for 140 yen. The store originally started as a liquor store and has a strong lineup of original wines. As a result, the selection of existing brand alcohols is limited. However, they don't develop their own beer. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I visited the "Seicomart Kitaku 42-jo Higashi 1-chome store" on December 23rd. I use this store regularly. Seicomart offers in-store cooking hot chef services at a high rate (about 80% of stores). Despite being called in-store cooking, it operates on a stock basis rather than order and serve. They still provide warm food using warmers. Recently, Lawson has also started in-store cooking. Seicomart was the first company to expand convenience stores in Hokkaido. I visited for dinner tonight and bought some onigiri. They also had original Christmas items on display. Items purchased (received): Bacon and Bonito onigiri for 203 yen each, and Chicken Wing Potato for 756 yen. The Chicken Wing Potato is an original item for the Christmas season. It was available for same-day purchase as well as by reservation. The box had a print of Seicomart's mascot, Sei-chan. The potatoes were similar to regular fried potatoes. I think it was my first time trying Seicomart's bone-in chicken items, and it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
