This is a restaurant attached to a hot spring inn. The rice is cooked firm, so when you have it with dashi tea pickles, it fills you up just right and tastes delicious. There are about four types of bread available, so you can choose your favorite to eat. Personally, the corn potage soup was the most delicious. Overall, the soup dishes have a good taste. Although not shown in the photos, I personally did not like the taste of the soup curry dishes.

I stayed at the Ragent Stay Sapporo Odori for one night and had breakfast at the buffet. The restaurant was spacious and the tables were well spaced out. The buffet had a lot of Western-style dishes, such as gratin and roast pork, which were very delicious. The salad bar had a wide variety of vegetables, allowing me to eat a balanced meal. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The breakfast was said to be on sale, but even with the discount, it felt a bit lacking. The breakfast was supposed to be a highlight, being in Sapporo, but it was a bit underwhelming. The only saving grace was that I only booked one night out of multiple nights, so I didn't have to endure it for too long.

I stayed for the third time, after 3 months, for one night. The room was spacious as part of a random plan. I am grateful for that. The room was clean and functional. However, the wifi was a bit weak. The large communal bath had a nice atmosphere and was enjoyable. The ice machine was on the second floor, but there was no microwave. The location is close to Tanukikoji Shopping Street and there is a Family Mart next door. The breakfast is of high quality and delicious, so I recommend it.

I checked into a nice hotel in Sapporo for a 2-day stay. Since this year's Bon festival would be boring anyway, I decided to stay in a slightly nicer hotel where I could relax. Unfortunately, I couldn't go back to my hometown due to the pandemic, so I couldn't see my parents. The room was a non-smoking Superior Double (23 square meters) with a spacious feel and a view of the Ferris wheel from the window. It was located right in Tanuki Koji 4-chome and had a natural hot spring. The large communal bath, Pon no Yu, had a high ceiling with thick beams and a Japanese modern atmosphere. It was amazing. For dinner on the first day, I ordered food and wine to go from a hidden gem Italian restaurant just a 1-minute walk from the hotel. I enjoyed delicious Italian cuisine in my room and had a truly wonderful time. The hotel's service was also very kind and attentive.

I visited this stylish restaurant for breakfast at a hotel for the first time. The breakfast menu was plentiful and you can eat a hearty meal from the morning. The salad was fresh and delicious, and the clam chowder soup was the best I've had recently. The hotel itself is new, and the large communal bath had a nice Japanese-style atmosphere. Thank you for the meal!

This summer was hot. I was feeling overwhelmed with things to do, so I had to take refuge in a hotel several times. The hotel had card key access and locked elevators for security, but you had to go down to the entrance to pick up deliveries like UVER. Luckily, there was a Seiko Mart connected to the hotel, so I didn't have to go outside. The room had water, coffee, and tea drip bags provided. The bath changed between male and female in the morning and evening, but the design was the only thing that changed. The tub was large and had a unique design, like a raccoon bath. It was a bit creepy being in there alone late at night. The design was quite unusual, but it left a strong impression. There were small ice creams in the bathroom, which helped me regain my energy.

I visited this place because I was concerned about ventilation, and I was attracted by the fact that the room windows can be opened and each room is equipped with an air purifier. In addition, the large communal bath with a high ceiling and a raccoon dog mural was quite comfortable. They even had ice candy for after bathing, which left me with the impression that they are really putting in effort. The room was average, feeling a bit smaller than expected. Mineral water was provided for each person. It was nice that the toilet and bath were separate. The location is great, just a short walk to Susukino and Tanukikoji. There is a convenience store on the first floor, making it very convenient.

Recently, hotels are competing with their breakfast offerings. Even budget hotels provide a decent spread. If you don't consider the accommodation price, it's not bad. However, compared to the nearby Dormy Inn which has a higher price setting, it looks lackluster. It seems like the majority of guests are from the continent, so maybe this level is sufficient. If they are targeting Japanese guests, they could use more vegetables and fruits. The atmosphere is like a bar, but there are no Westerners. It's not very impressive.

This is a continuation of the Sapporo review from three years ago. We stayed in a hotel in Sapporo city, which was close to Odori Park and Susukino, and had a hot spring nearby! The entrance had cute footprints. We planned to eat outside at night, so we only had breakfast at the hotel buffet. It was bright and had an open atmosphere, and we were greeted by a giraffe. Hotel buffets are usually similar, but there was no need to line up this time, and I was satisfied with the brightness and the Western-style breakfast.

On the 4th morning of my trip to Hokkaido, I had breakfast at a city hotel. Most city hotels offer a buffet-style breakfast where you can eat as much as you want, but the variety of dishes is usually limited. However, La'gent Stay Hotel had a wide range of options including Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, and I was unable to try everything because there were so many choices. As a former resident of Hokkaido, I was delighted to see many dishes made with local ingredients. The breakfast included squid salted roe, tarako (not mentaiko), grilled salmon, potato fries, roast pork, potato salad, milk, and more. It seems that curry rice, risotto, and porridge are now essential menu items at breakfast buffets. I also heard Chinese words being spoken in the restaurant, so it seems they offer Chinese cuisine as well. I had planned to have lunch a few hours later, but I ended up eating so much for breakfast that I was too full.

The old man who entered Sapporo from Hakodate decided to stay at "La Legend Stay" for 2 nights this year because the reservation response of the hotel where he stayed last year was not good. There were quite a few options in Sapporo, but being a fan of hot springs, he chose this place as it has a hot spring and is convenient for bar hopping. It seems to be a fairly new hotel. The entrance is not very noticeable as a hotel, but since it is located on Tanukikoji Street, there were playful touches like tanuki footprints on the passage leading to the front desk. The hotel is clean and has a lot of attention to detail. Before entering the room, there is security with a key for the elevator, so only the designated floor can be accessed, making it a safe hotel for women worried about being close to the bar district. The hot spring looks elaborate, but the facilities were not particularly good. However, the fact that there is a rotation system between men and women in the bath is a plus point for bath lovers. Since it is still new, it does not have much name recognition, so the old man was able to stay relatively cheaply right in the middle of Sapporo. The room was clean and quite functional, as expected from a new hotel. From the old man's room, he had a nice view of a beautiful Ferris wheel. In fact, the old man overexerted himself with 9 consecutive days of activities and fell ill, canceling his plans for the day and spending most of it in bed. However, in the evening, as the sky darkened, the Ferris wheel started to light up, creating a somewhat melancholic yet impressive sight. Despite only being able to use one of the baths during his 2-night stay and missing out on breakfast, he liked the hotel so much that he plans to stay here again on his next visit to Sapporo. Hopefully, the price won't go up...

I chose La'gent Stay Sapporo Odori for a new hotel with a large hot spring bath. It hasn't been open for a year yet, so everything was clean. About half of the customers seemed to be from overseas, but there were hardly any unpleasant experiences, and the clientele seemed good. The breakfast was a highlight of the trip, like at a resort or hot spring inn. The breakfast buffet was quite satisfying for the size of the hotel. The warm dishes were warm and the cold dishes were cold. There were many dishes made with Hokkaido ingredients and they were quite creative. They even provided coffee in a takeout container, which was nice to enjoy in the room. However, since I came to Sapporo for gourmet food, having a hearty breakfast would reduce the excitement of lunch. I tried to eat less, but I always end up overeating at the buffet. The location is convenient, and if I come to Sapporo again, I would like to stay here.

Here is the translation of the restaurant review content: "Good morning from Monster Morning. It's a slightly hungover morning, so I'll have a hearty breakfast. It's a buffet at the inn. The stylish interior is filled with dishes. But for a Japanese man, as long as there's rice and miso soup, it's all good. I tried to go for a Japanese meal, but the boiled egg I chose turned out to be a baked egg, so I ended up eating rice with bread on top, a rough move only possible with leftover alcohol. I'm a rice person. Freshly cooked rice! I was ecstatic. But... Was it really freshly cooked rice??? It had a strong smell of being kept warm, so it was disappointing. Everything looked good and I thought the dishes were nice. But something felt off...? The only thing that was really delicious was the self-serve milk (laughs). The milk you could pour from the tank was rich. That was the only saving grace. As I was leaving the restaurant, I suddenly noticed detox water for the guests waiting for breakfast. It's thoughtful gestures like this that make me happy. I had a glass before leaving. It felt like it was detoxing me from the inside out. I felt like I could drink again tonight (laughs)."

I was able to book a new hotel for the Obon holiday. However, the prices are high everywhere, especially in Sapporo. Despite the abundance of hotels, the prices are still high. Even in Abashiri, the prices seem to have gone up. It's a busy time with tourists, as well as rugby and track and field training camps. The hotel in Sapporo is new, so they are offering a promotional rate. The room was spacious and clean. I didn't spend much time in the room as I was out drinking in Susukino. The breakfast buffet was not as crowded as I expected. I was surprised by the price of 1900 yen. The food was average, so I didn't have any complaints. The breading was not good, but I still took two pieces. It's not worth paying 1900 yen for this buffet. After eating to about 80% full, I returned to my room and took a bath in the new public bath. It's just a regular bath, but my companion was upset because they expected hot springs.

A new hotel on the main street. It's quite nice, with a similar rank to Mercure. There are power outlets on both sides of the bed, three around the desk, and three other outlets. The wifi is fast. The shower feels weak with some kind of air system. There is a capsule coffee maker. There is also a large public bath, but it was quite crowded and the changing room was messy and in need of cleaning.

I went to a hotel with a discount coupon. I have stayed there a few times, but this was the first time with breakfast included. The room was spacious as always. The bath was crowded in the morning, but the hot water was good. It was nice to have mini ice cream after soaking. Now, about breakfast... When I went to the restaurant at 6:35, it was packed with tour groups. There were mostly elderly people, so the line was not moving at all... And there were hardly any side dishes left... The staff seemed disorganized and not attentive at all. It was not worth the price for breakfast.

Accommodation in Sapporo is La'gent Stay Sapporo Odori. I booked through ANA's package, so the price was below 10,000 yen including tax for 2 nights, which is a great deal. The room has a double-sized bed with over 20 square meters of space, a large communal bath (with two different styles), mineral water service, ice service after bathing, and breakfast included. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of high-quality dishes such as bonito sashimi, Korean pancake, squid kimchi, scrambled eggs, bacon, roast pork, chicken nanban, white fish nanban, pork and bamboo shoot hot pot, and more. The bath is alkaline, making the water feel smooth and comfortable. I will definitely consider staying here again. Thank you for the hospitality.
