New Year's party at a hotel. The salad had crab in it, there was a cheese platter, chestnut rice, mentaiko pasta, sashimi, chicken, and for dessert there was panna cotta with strawberry sauce. They also served fresh peanuts and edamame. The course cost 5000 yen and included various cocktails that were all-you-can-drink. Everything was delicious except for the sashimi. The mentaiko pasta was a bit salty but it was served hot and fresh, which was nice. The chestnut rice had a light base with the chestnuts standing out. The panna cotta was also delicious and had a good portion size. It was a great experience!

Once again, I had a job in Asahikawa. Surprisingly, there is a lot of snow in Asahikawa this year. The hotel here is conveniently close to the station, the rooms are spacious, with WI-FI and plenty of outlets, making it a very convenient hotel for business trips. The front desk staff's hospitality was so-so, but the cleaning staff and the restaurant staff at breakfast were very pleasant. The breakfast buffet had a limited variety, with food that was okay in taste. I decided to email my wife a photo of the breakfast. This time, I stayed at this hotel in Asahikawa for a business trip. There weren't any loud foreigners talking, so I could enjoy my breakfast in peace (laughs). Even though it may be a bit old and a bit expensive, that's actually better! As for the breakfast review - as always, I had a hangover but still managed to eat rice and bread. Today's meal included "multigrain rice," which was chewy and delicious. Of course, they also had regular rice available. I had a takeaway coffee and it was delicious too! Thank you for the meal! I stayed at the Court Hotel in front of Asahikawa Station and had breakfast at the hotel's buffet. The hotel is not particularly new, but it has everything you need and is not inconvenient. The breakfast was not extravagant, but you could choose rice and bread, the salad was substantial, there were fried foods, and there were desserts, so I was very satisfied with everything I wanted. The taste was not too strong, just a normal breakfast, which was totally fine. It can get cold outside in winter, and even though it's in front of the station, there are hardly any places to have breakfast, so I recommend using it even in the summer.

In 2014, during the Hokkaido expedition, breakfast in Asahikawa was at "Premiere @ Asahikawa Court Hotel". It is located right in front of Asahikawa Station. We stayed with a breakfast plan, and the bus to Asahiyama Zoo departs from the bus stop right in front of the hotel, so if you plan to make it to the opening time, leaving the hotel at 9:30 should be fine. (It's better to get on the bus early.) 1) Breakfast for Mr. Lirita: Asahiyama Zoo opens at 10:30 in the winter. Before leaving Asahikawa, we definitely had to eat delicious Asahikawa ramen, so we decided not to eat breakfast at the zoo and to have a hearty ramen meal afterwards. 2) Breakfast for Ms. Lirita: Breakfast was at "Premiere" on the 1st floor, where we received breakfast vouchers at check-in. Breakfast was a buffet! It included rice, miso soup, salad, dried radish, fish, ham, sausages, various egg dishes, and even some Chinese dishes. The variety was quite good with canned bean salad being a pleasant surprise. The taste was decent. The drink selection was at a standard business hotel level, but the spacious seating was quite nice. As lunch at Asahiyama Zoo can get crowded, having a hearty meal at the hotel in the morning might be a good idea.

This time, the hotel I stayed at had a budget-friendly plan that included breakfast (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*) I usually can't eat a lot for breakfast after drinking, but morning curry? Was that even a thing? (◎_◎;) Come to think of it...there was a picture of curry on the menu board at the entrance. I'll try it since it's something new. Oh! The combination with the side dishes is a bit unusual, I was expecting a Japanese breakfast with salmon and miso soup haha. The curry has chunks of potatoes in it, like the curry I eat at home. I really like it (^o^)／ Finished with some yogurt for dessert...it was a delicious meal! If they have another affordable plan, I'll definitely stay here again!
