Crunchy coating, juicy meat. Delicious! It's not too peppery at first... but then it hits you! It's quite spicy! The black pepper flavor kicks in! Second bite - it's peppery! It's spicy! It's really delicious! My palate, which can't handle spiciness like a child, is in mild panic. But it was so tasty. I had consumed less than half of a 2-liter bottle of water by the time I finished it. How much water! Thank you for the meal! My wish came true!

Continuing with last year's reviews, I visited KFC located on the first floor of a building right next to Kotoen Station. I stopped by for dinner as I was in the area for errands. Since it was still early, the restaurant was not crowded, but there were many people coming in to reserve chicken for Christmas. I ordered the "Chicken Fillet Sandwich Set (700 yen)", which comes with a small size fried potato and medium size drink. The chicken in the sandwich had a crispy outer texture and was tender inside, pairing well with the buns. Although the portion was a bit small for me, the quality of the chicken was high, making it a good choice for chicken lovers.

On February 11, my wife finished her errands in the morning and decided to go shopping for Valentine's Day chocolates in Sapporo. After looking around several shops, we couldn't find anything special, so we ended up buying chocolates at the Aeon Supercenter. My wife was tired from the busy day, so we searched for a nearby place where we could get takeout for dinner. We found a KFC in Koto-ni which we hadn't tried before. We ordered a 6-piece pack of original chicken with 2 crispy sides and 1 small fries. The chicken was still warm when we got home and it was delicious. The crispy skin was surprisingly good and we enjoyed the meal. KFC's original recipe chicken never disappoints, and it's a classic that we never get tired of. Another satisfying meal at KFC!

It's a Japanese-style chicken cutlet sandwich. The only thing you should eat is the Japanese-style chicken cutlet sandwich. That's all I usually eat. By the way, what happened to the chicken pot pie and egg tart? I used to like them. The potato has changed to curly fries, which are tastier than before, but having the seasoning already on them feels odd. I still prefer potatoes with salt sprinkled on top.

The area around Kotoniyama is not a living area, and not a place I usually visit, but there are quite a few shops I want to visit. The people living in this area are like hidden deer. On this day, there was a set meal shop I wanted to visit, so I stopped by on the way back. KFC can be found anywhere, right? As long as there is a kitchen facility, can you open a store? Upon entering the shop, I was quite impressed by how spacious it was. I usually go to narrow places, so maybe that's why. I usually get the original chicken meal, but on this day I bought nuggets. I also got Kernel Biscuits. Kernel Biscuits are mysterious. The surface is crispy, but the inside is moist and soft. It's like layers of pie crust. I eat it with honey maple syrup. The fact that it's called a biscuit is good. Is honey maple syrup the same as maple syrup? It's cheap, so it's probably different, right? But why is the middle hollow? Maybe it's zero calories? (Just kidding) I think the biscuits are pretty good, but the calories and sugar content seem dangerous. The nuggets, as always, were a great accompaniment to alcohol. The end.

I never think the Original Chicken is delicious, but for some reason, I crave it about once every six months. The potato has changed to crunchy potato wedges, which makes it easier to eat. However, serving tea in a paper cup with a teabag seems a bit shabby. The dessert biscuit is better eaten as a regular biscuit. In terms of desserts, they are falling behind compared to other places like McDonald's pies or cinnamon melts.

I was only able to upload a review of "Roppaya" in September 2018, so here is another one that is a bit late... On the fourth day after the earthquake, there were still very few shops open for business. I called ahead and confirmed that Roppaya (a bakery) was open, so I decided to visit. To my surprise, the nearby KFC was also open! They were selling a limited menu, but it was a relief to find a place to eat when supermarkets and convenience stores were running low on stock. We all enjoyed the meal together. Thank you very much.

I was puzzled by the commercial-like development of the recent CM featuring actress Mitsuki Takahata, but when it comes to demands like this, I bought it as part of my dinner. By the way, it was some kind of anniversary on this day. As soon as I entered the store, I thought it smelled smoky for some reason. Although it is completely non-smoking, I was worried while waiting inside for takeout. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced, maybe due to lack of experience. I chose a discounted set which included two Original Chicken, two Red Hot Chicken, and Colonel Ring Potato. I like the shape and taste of Colonel Ring Potato, but it had a fluffy texture, making me wonder when it was fried. My child seems to love it though. The Red Hot Chicken had a spicy and delicious flavor, but I still prefer to eat it while it's hot and freshly fried. After trying a bit of the Original Chicken after the Red Hot Chicken, I felt that the Red Hot Chicken was tastier on this day. I would like to try buying only Red Hot Chicken next time. It's raining so I can't wander around much. I did some training, so I thought about eating something with plenty of protein and low in calories, and I came up with chicken breast! The pack included 4 Original Recipe chicken pieces, 10 nuggets, coleslaw, small fries, and it was a good deal, but still felt a bit expensive. The domestically produced herb chicken is reassuring in terms of safety, and the bone-in Original Recipe chicken was delicious with just the right amount of salt. The Kentucky Fried Chicken made with the secret 11 herbs and spices makes you crave a carbonated drink like beer or cola. The nuggets were surprisingly tender and well-seasoned, and they tasted quite delicious. The fries had a good amount of salt, but felt a bit too starchy. I've felt this way about the fries before, and I hope they can make them even tastier. I saw the 45th Anniversary new logo, which had "Love&Quality" written on it, signifying "love for customers, hospitality" and "unparalleled quality." In the afternoon, there are many women and families with children. The staff are all friendly, and older customers seem to be popular. The customer service is great, especially when they explain the set menu. The fried fish with tartar sauce is delicious, and I wish there was more of it. The Twister is also tasty, the dough goes well with the chicken and vegetables. When I thought about ordering that set, I discovered the "Taste Comparison Set". The Red Hot Chicken 2P includes bone-in thigh and boneless breast. The bone-in chicken is tender, and the crispy coating is finely textured. The Red Hot flavor seems to be getting milder over the years. It used to be so spicy that I couldn't eat it. Gradually, my tongue and mouth start to tingle. The Original Chicken P with wings and thighs is not my favorite, as the original spice is a bit too peppery for me. I prefer the limited edition sauces with different flavors. My usual companion loves fried potatoes, so we planned to buy those too. It was just one drink, so I thought I could tolerate it and used the smoking section with a friend who smokes. As soon as I entered, I felt a strong discomfort from my windpipe to my lungs. There seems to be air purifiers and exhaust systems, but they are not very effective. I have been in smoking zones before, but this is the first time I have felt the fear of secondhand smoke so strongly. I apologize that this is not a review of the food or drinks, but non-smokers should not enter smoking sections. The non-smoking section is just your average KFC, neither good nor bad.

Lunch options seem to have increased without me noticing. I thought about trying a new menu, but in the end, I decided to stick with the usual.
