I stayed at this hotel in October 2022 and December 2022 and here is my review:
I stayed for one night with breakfast included in October for 3,536 yen (after applying Sapporo discount and LOVE discount). It was my first time staying at this hotel and I was able to get a good deal by combining the Sapporo discount and national travel support discount. I really liked the breakfast, so I kept an eye out for cheaper days to stay when I had time off work, but this hotel doesn't often have low prices. In December, I found a 3,000 yen coupon on Rakuten Travel that could be used for accommodations in Sapporo, so I immediately made a reservation. I even canceled a reservation I had already made at another hotel to stay here. When I stayed in October, I had to rush through breakfast before heading to work, so I couldn't fully enjoy it. However, in December, I took my time and savored it. The highlight was the gluten-free sweets handmade by the pastry chef. There were two types of regular-sized cakes lined up, which surprised me at first. In October, I didn't have time to eat the cakes, but in December, I made sure to try the strawberry shortcake. Personally, I prefer tasting many different small desserts rather than eating one regular-sized cake. It was disappointing that they didn't have the "komai" that was available in October. I wanted to try it again; it's rare to have "komai" for breakfast. The "salmon chan-chan-yaki" is also a recommended menu item. I remember that the official "Sapporo discount (2022)" plan was 2,000 yen for weekdays without breakfast, so it should have been practically free. The breakfast voucher sold at the front desk costs 1,760 yen. Therefore, it might be more cost-effective to look for days with breakfast included on websites like Jalan or Rakuten. The 1,000 yen discount coupon available on Jalan can be combined with the Sapporo discount or LOVE discount, so I would like to use it wisely and stay here again. The room is honestly average. It's a new hotel, so it's very clean and shiny, but it has a similar feel to Comfort or APA Hotel, which might be a bit plain for tourists. If you prefer a more glamorous and flashy hotel, I recommend staying in the Odori or Susukino area.
