At 1:10 pm, after 3 months, I visited the restaurant with no other customers present. I ordered the Natto Oroshi Soba and the friendly staff promptly served it. I added some green onions, mixed in some wasabi, and thoroughly mixed the grated radish and seaweed with the natto. It was delicious! I poured some soba broth from the pot into the bowl and drank it since there was no ladle. And the best part is, this meal only cost 500 yen. Thank you for the delicious meal! (^^)v

Review of Macchan Kanchan, Ryusei, and Ezomurasaki:
Thanks to the information provided by the reviewers, we discovered this restaurant and decided to visit. It is located in a street that we wouldn't have known about otherwise. Upon entering, we found a spacious interior with raised seating areas, regular tables, and a counter. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The pre-payment system using a ticket machine made the checkout process smooth and efficient. We ordered two sets of cold Toriten-don (chicken tempura rice bowl) and decided to share a Gobou (burdock root) tempura. Complimentary cold water was provided, and there was self-service hojicha (roasted green tea) and soba-yu (buckwheat tea). The self-service soba-yu was a unique touch. The menu offered both Shichimi (seven spice blend) and Ichimi (red pepper) condiments to cater to different spice preferences. The food was served promptly. The Toriten-don had a beautiful presentation and the chicken was juicy and delicious. The Soba was refreshing and the broth was well-seasoned. The Gobou tempura had a nice crispy texture and we enjoyed trying it with different condiments. The soba-yu was light and we could adjust the amount to our liking. The staff were polite and friendly throughout our visit. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience and enjoyed the quick and casual meal of soba and tempura. The warm soba also looked tempting.

I visited at 11:30 and ordered the tempura burdock soba. It was the first day of opening and the burdock tempura was a bit hard. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes. I poured the soup, added green onions, mixed wasabi... It was delicious! The burdock tempura became easier to eat. Burdock tempura soba for 700 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

This is a type B facility for continued support. They offer a chicken tempura rice bowl set for 800 yen, 2 pieces of inari sushi for 100 yen, and hot coffee for 100 yen. There is a parking lot in front of the store, and the interior looks like it used to be a coffee shop. When you enter, there is a ticket machine on the right. The staff will politely guide you to your seat and explain the menu and ticket machine. The recommended dishes are warm or cold soba noodles, which are unique to this store with thin, smooth, and soft noodles developed by Ichikyu Seimen. The broth is sweet with a hint of spiciness, and the chicken tempura is made with breast meat. The sauce is sweet with a spicy kick, and the broth is aged in Ichikyu Soba's underground cellar. The coffee was generously served as a complimentary gesture due to a delay. Self-serve options include soba water and hot tea. The background music consists of nostalgic J-pop songs by artists like Hideaki Tokunaga and Every Little Thing. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the restaurant on a Saturday because it's only open from 11am to 2:30pm and closed on Sundays. It seems like it's a newly opened soba restaurant that supports employment for people with disabilities. The prices are reasonable, the menu has a variety of options, and the food was delicious. I hope more of these supportive restaurants will open in the future. I had the Goboten Soba, which had a large and crispy tempura that was freshly made and very tasty. My husband had the Kashiwa Soba, which he always enjoys. I also had the Soba and Tori-Tendon set, which came with Inari-zushi and filled me up with carbs. The sauce for the Tori-Tendon was sweeter than expected. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Would you like to have soba for lunch? Thank you for the meal!

It's lunchtime in Tomakomai... I was heading to a restaurant I wanted to go to in Eniwa, but I was too hungry and had to give up. The place I ended up visiting was "Soba Restaurant Imaimatei," which opened on September 1, 2022. There are about three parking spaces on the sidewalk in front of the store, but they are a bit narrow. Inside the store, there are 7 counter seats, 2 tables for 4 people, and 4 sunken tables. After some thought at the ticket machine on the left side of the entrance, I chose the "kake@430" instead of the "zaru@380" soba. I ordered the "kashiwa soba@600" and handed the ticket to a young man in his 20s. I sat at the counter. There were two groups of two customers before me. I received ice water and the tea and soba-yu were self-service. The operation was handled by about 4 young staff members, and it took 6 minutes until the food was served. The tray in front of me had "kashiwa soba, garnishes of green onions and lotus root, and chopsticks." There were "ichimi, shichimi, and toothpicks" on the table. The soba had a decent firmness and was easy to eat, but it didn't quite reach the level of high-quality soba. The broth was on the sweeter side with plenty of umami... I know similar-tasting instant food products, is it the same thing? The kashiwa was not bad, but was it simmered too much? I would have been more satisfied if it were 50 yen cheaper. The restaurant is operated by a local soba restaurant called "Ikkyu," and it is run as a "Type B Supported Employment Facility." I hope they continue to operate, but I feel there are still areas for improvement. It's a shame that there are many aspects that are not in line with the market's values, so I hope they work hard. Thank you for the meal.

During lunchtime, I visited a popular restaurant that was almost full, so it's better to go early. The background music was J-pop like Narubari. I chose the handwritten signboard menu at the entrance, "Toriten Soba". It came with two large pieces of toriten, which were too hot for my cat to eat. The warm broth was delicious, not too salty. I also bought some tempura bits from the staff at the entrance and they brought it to my seat. It was a generous portion! I'll have to eat a lot of soba at home too. Toriten Soba costs 630 yen. Thank you for the meal!

It was bustling again this day. I sat at counter number 3 and waited for my cold tanuki soba. There were shichimi, nanami, and toothpicks on the table. Already ready? The service is fast. I mixed the wasabi in the tsuyu for my zaru soba... It's delicious, isn't it? The strange smell of tap water? It's a bit concerning. (^^; Cold tanuki soba for 500 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

A new soba restaurant has opened in a residential area as a type B facility for continued employment support. The restaurant is produced by the familiar "Ikkyu Soba" from Tomakomai, and the soba noodles are specially made by the group's Ikkyu Seimen. While waiting for the soba at the counter, a charming elderly man (GGI) sits next to me and asks to see a pamphlet. His gentle tone and kind demeanor are genuine and not forced. To my surprise, the elderly man turns out to be the famous reviewer "Macchan"! It's been a while since we last met. If only I had met a lovely lady instead (laughs).
- Zaru Soba (Cold soba noodles) 380 yen: The price is pleasing, and the soba noodles are the standard type with a smooth texture, likely around 200g in quantity. However, I didn't sense much fragrance or sweetness. The dipping sauce is light and slightly sweet. I also tried the burdock tempura given by Macchan, which I appreciate the style but found it a bit firm. It might be a bit tough for the elderly, so I hope they can make some adjustments in the preparation process. By doing so, the restaurant, which already claims to have a "signature dish," will gain more credibility. I feel that the soba noodles need some improvement, and I also questioned the price difference between cold and hot soba. Despite the concerns about the turnover in this tenant space, considering the high number of elderly residents in the residential area, a soba restaurant that is friendly to the elderly, offers simple flavors, and has reasonable prices could play a different role and make a unique presence. It will be interesting to see how the restaurant will establish itself through its location, nature, and the soba it serves.

☆Oh shooting star, you're ahead of me! I visited the vocational support B-type facility operated by WEZO Corporation at 11:10, where there was parking space for one car and one empty counter seat. I feel like something is missing... Ah, there's no ticket machine, so I went for the burdock tempura soba. Self-serve tea and soba broth. There's a pamphlet with "One Kyu Soba" written on it only at the neighboring salaryman's seat. I'm really curious and want to see it, so I asked, "Excuse me, can I take a look at that?" "Sure, here you go!" Oh, shooting star? Matchan? (laughs)☆It's been a while, shooting star, but you look forever young and full of energy! Eating next to a soba sommelier is such a great feeling! The burdock tempura soba was delicious, although the burdock was a bit tough. Prices are reasonable, like the zaru soba for 380 yen. It must be bustling here. Congratulations on the opening! \(^o^)/ Burdock tempura soba for 700 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v
