I originally planned to eat at a restaurant somewhere, but unexpectedly, I didn't have time to have lunch. Eventually, when I took a break around 3:30 PM, I gave up on lunch and decided to get onigiri at the Seicomart. I really like the Hot Chef series. I actually eat it quite often. Hot Chef is generally delicious no matter what you eat, so I feel safe buying it. This time, I got the sujiko onigiri, fried chicken, and potato fries. Sujiko onigiri is my favorite among the onigiri at Seicomart. When fried chicken was first introduced at Seicomart, it was shocking. I thought, "I might not need to go to KFC anymore." The potato fries are also good. Even when comparing price and taste, I think I might not need to go to fast food restaurants. I really wish they would make the limited-time dishes like the hot pot rice bowl, Genghis Khan rice bowl, and hamburger curry into regular menu items.

Two years ago, I discovered the products from the 11th Ritsumeikan University High School Pastry Competition winners being sold. I had no idea that there were high schools with specialized departments and even competitions in Hokkaido. I started purchasing these products and now look forward to this time of year. Some of the award-winning products include "Pumpkin Cheese Tart" from Mikasa High School (Grand Prize), "Mochi Wrapped in Zunda Bean Paste and Cheese Cream" from Towanomori Sanai High School (Encouragement Award), and "Hakka Mousse" from Takinoue High School (Encouragement Award). The Cheese Tart is reasonably priced at 160 yen and is truly delicious - I've already bought it three times! The Pumpkin Cheese Tart has a soft texture with a well-balanced taste of pumpkin and cheese. Heating it in the oven enhances the flavors even more. The Mochi Wrap is priced at 298 yen and has a unique texture with smooth cream and zunda bean paste. The Hakka Mousse, priced at 250 yen, has a sweet and sour taste with a hint of hakka aroma. The Chestnut Dorayaki features chestnut cream with a delightful texture. I found a new version of my beloved red bean bun with chunky red bean paste - a must-buy! Along with that, I also got "Mystery Flavor Chicken" and "Sweet Potato Pie." The Red Bean Bun with Chunky Red Bean Paste is a delight for red bean lovers, with a generous amount of chunky red bean paste inside. The Mystery Flavor Chicken reminds me of "Youlin Chicken" with a slightly spicy kick. The Sweet Potato Pie turned out to be surprisingly delicious with a crispy pie crust and a perfectly sweet and moist sweet potato filling. Enjoying these treats has definitely satisfied my appetite.

Seicomart, a local convenience store chain in Hokkaido. I tried the Cheese Burger Curry (¥560 tax included) at "Hot Chef" inside Seicomart. Hot Chef cooks everything in-store, starting from cooking the rice. There are many other items available, and they all seem to be good quality. The Cheese Burger Curry I had this time was delicious, although the hamburger was a bit thin. It's great that they use no additives. Overall, I feel like you can't go wrong with any of their products.
