I finished off 2019 by enjoying a delicious chicken white broth hot pot at a restaurant called Keihakutanyu. The rich soup was really tasty.

I used to be a regular at this place when the owner was running a bar. I heard they had opened a new restaurant, so I finally had the chance to visit. The main dish here is the chiritori hot pot, but this time I had already eaten so I focused on the drinks. Let me introduce another side of this place - "BAR Tanokoya." It transforms into a bar at night, where you can enjoy drinks and have adult conversations with the owner. They often stay open late, so it's a good place to go for a nightcap. I plan to come back to try the chiritori hot pot and write another review next time.
