Sometimes I feel like having a hearty meal with a strong drink. So, I went to "Gohanbar - Be Kind to People". First, I ordered a freshly squeezed cloudy yuzu sour. It was easy to drink. They asked if we had any preferences for the appetizer, and when my child mentioned they didn't like sashimi, they offered us potato as an alternative. We ordered the following dishes: seared beef tongue carpaccio, cold yuzu chicken white broth noodles, saury and sweet potato rice, beef shigure rice, chilled three-element pork and seaweed plum shabu-shabu, and pickled radish and fish roe potato salad. Everything was delicious, but the seared beef tongue carpaccio was a standout. It tasted like roast beef tongue with lots of green onions. The rice dishes were also very filling, with a deep pot filled with rice, sweet potatoes, and plenty of saury. It was a meal that made me want to keep drinking.Visited in September 2023.

Toyohira-ku Nakajima area. The restaurant is bustling even on weekdays, showing its popularity. It is a branch of a company that operates restaurants like Umisakura. Therefore, it is an above-average izakaya. The orders were: Tempura Rice Ball (495 yen) - the rice is slightly firm with 2 shrimp tempura on top. The nori aroma is strong and impressive. Duck and Kujo Negi Soba (693 yen) - a small portion of noodles, perfect for finishing the meal. The sauce is sweet, which goes well with duck broth, but it's a bit too sweet. The noodles and duck meat are not as good as specialty shops. Appetizer (450 yen) - herring, scallop, sweet shrimp, and cherry snapper were fresh and delicious. The cherry snapper had a seared skin, making it even tastier. Chicken Liver Sashimi (493 yen) - seasoned with sesame oil, rock salt, and grated garlic. The texture and preparation were good, and it was delicious. Dewar's Highball (440 yen) - perfectly carbonated and delicious. Overall, the soba may not be outstanding, but most of the menu items are delicious. It is already a popular restaurant rooted in the local community. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

Rare solo drinking day. I decided to stop by. I took a seat at the counter. I had seen a nice lineup of Japanese sake on Instagram. I thought, "I wish I could drink some Japanese sake." First, I ordered a Wakayama Momoyama Peach Sour for 540 yen (including tax). The appetizer was four kinds of sashimi. Hmm, the sashimi is delicious. This looks promising~ Now, I pondered over the menu to decide what to eat. When dining alone, it's crucial to judge how much one person can eat. So, I ordered: - Iburi Gakko and Kazunoko Potato Salad for 590 yen (including tax) - Tobetsu Pumpkin Fry with Honey Mascarpone for 540 yen (including tax) - Homemade Tsukune (with egg) for 360 yen (including tax) - Today's sashimi platter for one person for 1,000 yen (including tax) - Duck and Kujo Negi Soba for 630 yen (including tax). I ate quite a lot. I was convinced after eating the appetizer sashimi that the food here is really delicious. The Iburi Gakko and Kazunoko Potato Salad was as crunchy as the staff had promised, very delicious. The pumpkin was tasty on its own, but with the honey mascarpone, it was a perfect match! The homemade tsukune was meaty and soft, with a strong flavor. Since the appetizer sashimi was delicious, I ordered another serving separately. It had a good texture and I was satisfied. For the finishing touch, I ordered the Duck and Kujo Negi Soba, and the duck meat was delicious and warmed me up. The lively atmosphere inside the restaurant made me feel happy even though I was alone. I made a mental note to come back again. Visit in November 2022.

"Kaisakura" series shop, located in a remote island that I rarely visit, I was taken there by my daughters. There was a signboard in front of the entrance saying "I won't let you go to Susukino anymore," similar to the one at Kaisakura. The shop is not very spacious, with box seats and a counter, mostly frequented by young customers, which made me feel a bit embarrassed. The menu is quite extensive, with regular items, daily specials, and a good selection of Japanese sake. The sashimi was fresh like at Kaisakura, and the large shiso leaves were neatly arranged, showing great attention to detail. The chicken liver sashimi was lightly blanched to maintain its texture, and it was delicious. The zangi was carefully prepared, with two types of dipping sauces for flavor variation, and the frying was done perfectly. The fried sakura shrimp was expertly made, with a great texture and bringing out the delicious flavor of the shrimp. The baron potato croquette was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, with a fragrant potato taste, and the fact that it was cut into easy-to-eat pieces was a thoughtful touch. This youthful shop still pays attention to detail in their craftsmanship, which contributes to the deliciousness of their dishes. I enjoyed it while having some Japanese sake. Shimonojima Station is a 1-minute walk away. It opened last year, but I couldn't go because I was pregnant. My daughter is starting to be able to go out to eat a little, so I decided to have a quick drink! I called ahead to confirm that babies and strollers are allowed, and there are also child seats available. The restaurant has counter seats and table seats, and it is bustling with families and young people. The beer here is delicious! Drinking outside really is the best! Considering my daughter's mood, our limit is about an hour, so I recommend 4 dishes. Since it's hard to go to izakayas at night, I ordered dishes like yukhoe and tataki that you can only eat at the restaurant! The dishes were served quickly, which was a lifesaver for someone with a child! Everything was delicious and went well with alcohol! It's nice that the otoshi (appetizer) is sashimi! A place with a good otoshi is always a winner! We each had three beers and the dishes in the photo, totaling around 6800 yen. It's nearby, so I would like to visit again at a more leisurely pace!

Opened on April 23, 2021. Originally from the Umisakura Hiranishi store, Yuutarou was blown away in an explosion and had been working as the head chef at the Kotoni store. He has now opened a new restaurant in Nakajima♪ Initially, they were only open for dinner, so it was difficult for me to come for drinks to Nakajima, but due to strict shortened business hours, they have reluctantly started serving lunch as well (；∀；). I found out about this lunch service from a very reliable source (*^^*) Thank you very much. However, due to unnecessary measures, they have been forced to close temporarily (^_^;) So, until they reopen, today will be the last day for lunch (；∀；) I had the Sashimi Tempura Tendon Set for 1,380 yen♪ It's a set with great value. The sashimi included live octopus, Nanban shrimp, flounder fin of hamachi, salmon, flounder, scallop, tuna, and flying fish roe, a total of 8 varieties (*^^*) Huh? Is it just me or is that a lot? The flounder fin of hamachi is so fresh and delicious! (^-^) The scallop is a whole piece, and it wouldn't be strange if it cost over 1,200 yen alone! I had already eaten one meal before, so I asked for less rice, but even with the smaller bowl, if this is a regular-sized tempura bowl, it would have been a huge portion ( *´艸｀) The tempura included lotus root, bell pepper, green pepper, shiitake mushroom, eggplant, pumpkin, anago, and 2 shrimp, and it felt like the tempura was coming out from underneath (^_^ゞ For 1,380 yen, this is definitely unbelievable (；ﾟДﾟ) It deserves more than 5 stars for service and value! It's like they're giving it away for free (((*≧艸≦)ﾌﾟﾌﾟｯ I'm sad about the temporary closure starting tomorrow, but hang in there, Yuutarou! I'm rooting for you (^-^)
