I have to work even on holidays (;´д`) The tiredness from work keeps piling up (>o<) When I was young, I could recover my energy just by sleeping, but now that I'm getting older, even sleeping doesn't help me get rid of the tiredness easily (^^;;). However, I'm not the type to sleep in until noon on weekends, so I always end up waking up at my usual time (laughs). In times like these, I think, "Let's eat some meat!" and head to maimai Tei. There were many customers already there, as usual, so it's better to make a reservation in advance. I chose the all-you-can-eat course for 1 hour and 30 minutes, priced at 4,000 yen for men and 3,500 yen for women. This yakiniku restaurant doesn't have a "pre-set" menu, so you can order whatever you like right away. This is very important because I don't like being forced to eat certain meats before ordering what I really want. The quality of the meat this time was better than the last time I visited. I'm not an expert on meat, but since I come here regularly, I can tell the difference in quality each time. I hope the person in charge of purchasing can ensure consistent quality of the meat. The sagari and horumon were also of good quality. The horumon had a nice texture without being too chewy. As for the jingisukan, I really wish they could provide a special sauce for it, as the regular yakiniku sauce doesn't go well with it. The grilled squid was delicious, and I ended up having two plates of it (laughs). The grilled mushrooms, pumpkin, namul, salad bar, sangchu, and rice (for my wife) were all satisfying. Will this meal give me energy? Maybe, but I think only young people can truly regain their energy by eating. Us old folks are just heading towards becoming chubby! (>o<)
