I was taken to this restaurant by an acquaintance when it had just opened. It's located away from the city. We tried various dishes and as you can see from the photo, everything was delicious. I didn't mention some things for a reason, as they were related to a famous person. I thought about writing it, but decided against it. If you ever find yourself in this area, I recommend it as the food was great and the owner was very nice.

While on a business trip in Obihiro, I drove along Nishi 5-jo Street and stumbled upon a Japanese-style restaurant called Rosoroso near Yokado. I decided to give it a try during one of my trips. The only downside is that it is far from the hotel. The beer was very delicious! The service was also good. The food was tasty too! The tofu hot pot was delicious! It's great that the tofu was tasty. The staff's service was good too (o^^o) I ended up ordering too much and eating too much (lol). It's a downside that it's far from the hotel near Obihiro Station, but I would love to go back again.

This is a restaurant where you can enjoy hot pot dishes in both summer and winter. Among them, the "Himawari Nabe" is an original hot pot that I have only seen at this restaurant, and I always order it whenever I go there. It is a tomato soup with plenty of vegetables, clams, and sausages inside, topped with spinach, cheese, and tomatoes arranged like a sunflower. Adding rice and cheese at the end turns it into a risotto-like dish, so you can enjoy it until the very end! There are many other creatively unique dishes to enjoy as well. The location is not in the city center, so it's a bit difficult to get to without a car, which is a shame. Still, it's a restaurant that I can't help but want to visit from time to time.

[June 2011] I revisited the restaurant with my wife for dinner. There are plenty of parking spaces around the shop. This time, I didn't drink alcohol, so I was able to take photos safely. Every dish was delicious and I was very satisfied. Especially, the wasabi mayonnaise dip for the steamed pot went really well with the steamed vegetables and was very appetizing. The staff's service was energetic and left a good impression as always. It's a bit far from the city center, but I highly recommend this izakaya. [November 2010] I used this restaurant for a drinking party with my colleagues. The restaurant is located near Inada, close to the south side of Nishi 5th Street. It's a stylish single-family building. The first floor has counter seats, table seats, and a raised tatami mat area, while the second floor has private rooms for parties. The service from all the staff members was friendly and had a high likability factor. The menu offers a variety of creative dishes ranging from Japanese to Italian. Among the dishes I ordered, the highlight was the assorted chicken wings and pickles (I forgot to take a photo). I also tried the soup curry hot pot from the hot pot menu. It didn't taste much like soup curry, but it was a delicious curry hot pot. It's a popular restaurant that gets crowded, so I recommend making a reservation before going.

The appearance and interior are stylish and beautiful. The size inside is a bit small, but I think it's just the right number of seats considering the atmosphere of the restaurant. The variety of the menu is quite extensive, but the menu was a bit hard to understand, making it difficult to order. The prices are on the higher side, but I guess it's normal for a non-chain izakaya. Overall, I think it was good. Next time, I would like to enjoy the food while asking the staff for recommendations.

I visited "Rosoroso" which I had been wanting to try for a while. I had the following dishes: Collagen hot pot, Burdock pancake, Rosoroso salad. The collagen hot pot, which is famous, was just okay, not as impressive as I had hoped. I saw they also had shabu-shabu with collagen, as well as tomato hot pot and curry hot pot, so I'll try those next time. The pancake options included seafood and leek, but I went with the staff recommendation. I wish it had been crispier when cooked. The salad had a variety of options, but I ended up ordering the Rosoroso salad after hearing others around me order it. It was a spinach Caesar-style salad. They had a good selection of drinks with interesting names, which I think would appeal to women. The atmosphere was nice, so I would like to go back again. The only downside was that the entrance led straight to the counter, so my feet felt a bit cold.

I went there with my girlfriend. It was quite crowded even though it was late. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere with many young customers. The main dishes seemed to be hot pot and grilled dishes, so we ordered the spicy stew. It was a bit too spicy for me, but very delicious. We also ordered a few other dishes, and they were all decently tasty. The only downside was that they didn't seem to have sashimi. (I've only been there once, so I'm not sure if this is usual.) It's a bit far, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to go again, but I would like to.
