I used to pass by this place many times and knew about it, but it's my first visit now. I wonder why I didn't come here earlier... They have a menu that suits my taste perfectly. - The appetizer was pickles. They were not too sour and easy to eat. - The carpaccio was of sea bass, I think. The thick flesh and the perfect saltiness of the sauce were delicious. - It was nice to have the option to choose 50g of roast beef. It was thinly sliced, moist, tender, and delicious. The sauce was rich and tasty too. - The uni cream risotto was reasonably priced, so I didn't have high expectations, but it was rich and delicious, and I was very satisfied. - The lamb chops were delicious, but at around 1500 yen per piece, they might be a bit on the expensive side. Even with two pieces for 3000 yen, it wasn't very filling. Everything was delicious and safe choices. It might be good to come with a few people. Thank you for the meal!

In June 2023, I am in Sapporo. I left work behind and went to Hokkaido alone. I went out drinking right after leaving the hotel. I tried to go to a motsu (offal) restaurant after having yakitori at a shellfish bar, but it was still full. I turned back and tried the adjacent bar I visited earlier. It's a slightly stylish bar. The second floor is lively, but the first floor has zero customers. I sat at the counter and looked at the menu, asking for a wine that goes well with sea urchin and matsubu (shellfish). The sea urchin and matsubu were delicious, but the crunchiness of the toast was missing, which was a bit disappointing. The wine also paired perfectly with the dish, but---wine! It's getting me drunk. Oh no! If I stay here like this, I won't be able to go to the next place. The staff at the restaurant were a bit tsundere, but provided good service. Thank you for the meal.

Located in Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, this day was a drinking party with colleagues. I always receive such thoughtful consideration, thank you very much. I love Italian food, so I was happy. When everyone gathered, we entered the restaurant. We were offered a course menu with all-you-can-drink option, and even made a reservation for us. I don't know the details, but there were plenty of stylish dishes. The appetizers were luxurious, and each dish was stylish. I especially fell in love with the sea urchin risotto. It was definitely a dish to enjoy with alcohol. And the breathtaking raclette cheese was a cheese lover's dream. We also enjoyed the meat dishes and were very satisfied. The drink menu for all-you-can-drink was also very extensive. As always, I drank too much. I would like to visit this place again. Thank you for the feast.

I wanted to eat sea urchin dishes, but all the famous restaurants were fully booked, so I ended up at this Italian restaurant where they serve sea urchin dishes. The best dish was the sea urchin and sea snail garlic toast - it was delicious! I enjoyed it with some drinks. I tried all four sea urchin dishes, but this one was the best. They kindly removed pepper from all dishes so that even kids could enjoy them. The atmosphere was nice, with a lovely elderly couple who are regulars at the restaurant giving presents to the kids. In other words, it was good! The lamb chops were also delicious.

I went to a Chablis shop near here before. Is this place related? Feeling a similar name, I attacked alone! Starting with a drink at the counter. The calm and pleasant staff's service is good. Let's start with a beer... It arrived in a beautiful glass. And then a green salad. And finally, the sea urchin risotto. I heard this risotto is very famous. They let me have a half portion! I can feel the kindness that doesn't exclude solo diners. This green salad was the best I've ever had. I was surprised at how delicious a green salad could be! The sea urchin risotto was perfect. It's delicious and easy to eat without being too heavy. I was worried that it might be tough if you're not young, but I was pleasantly surprised. Today, I tried a wine afterwards. Rocheno Grillo. It's easy to drink, and I felt a refreshing yet firm taste! I shared my honest impression as someone who knows nothing about wine. I added a flan and that's it for today. The flan was also delicious. It was a good solo dining experience - calm, delicious, and with kind staff. I feel like coming back to enjoy the wine again.

When you go to Hokkaido, you must visit this restaurant. The seared sea urchin cream risotto is exquisite. All the other limited and recommended dishes also look delicious, and there wasn't a single disappointment in the dishes we ordered! They also offer all-you-can-drink, making it a great recommendation for girls' gatherings or dates. I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I wanted to eat something like this. It was very delicious. Even though I'm not a fan of oil, I enjoyed the aioli. The pizza was crispy, just the way I like it. And the sea urchin risotto was simply amazing. I'm completely full now. The course was reasonably priced. I would definitely come back again.

Osteria Barva in Susukino, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, has a nice atmosphere and delicious food. We ordered the "Treasure Box of Seafood Course" with a 120-minute all-you-can-drink option for 5000 yen, but with a coupon, we paid 4500 yen each. The course included 9 dishes, such as assorted appetizers, seasonal fish carpaccio, Racklette cheese from Obihiro, oven-baked seafood, grilled sea urchin cream risotto, and dessert. The appetizers were tasty, and the beer was great, especially the Edelpils for the second round. The Racklette grill was tempting, and we enjoyed the cheesy vegetables. The oven-baked seafood was a delight for seafood lovers. The service was excellent, with a nice touch of mixed nuts as a snack while waiting for the risotto. The rich sea urchin risotto was a satisfying end to the meal, followed by a refreshing chocolate ice cream. Overall, we had a great experience with no disappointments at this restaurant. The course was a good value for money, providing ample time for drinks. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

We traveled to Hokkaido and really wanted to try sea urchin cream pasta. Surprisingly, there are not many restaurants that serve sea urchin pasta. After being turned down by several places, we finally found a restaurant that served it. To put it mildly, it was amazing. While our goal was sea urchin cream pasta, we ended up being able to eat at least five servings of sea urchin risotto. Not only the sea urchin dishes, but the other menu items were delicious as well. The atmosphere was great, perfect for a date or girls' night out. There weren't many tourists, so I think it's a hidden gem. I definitely want to go back and have that sea urchin risotto again. I will visit again!

I found a nice restaurant that seemed to meet the request of "wanting to eat delicious pasta" from the other party. Although my familiar restaurant had closed due to the pandemic, I found a new place on Tabelog that looked promising. When I tried to make a reservation online, it said "only counter seats are available." I didn't mind, so I made the reservation. On the day of the reservation, I arrived a little early and asked if I could wait inside due to the cold weather, and they kindly allowed me in. They said a table became available, so I was led to the second floor. The staff was very cheerful and refreshing. I couldn't decide on one pasta, so I asked if we could order separately and share, to which they agreed to bring out each dish one by one. This kind of consideration was very much appreciated. While enjoying the salad appetizer and wine, the Watarigani tomato cream pasta arrived. The flavor of the crab spread throughout my mouth. The other pasta was a ragu pork pasta, I think? It was also satisfying with plenty of meat flavor. I was very satisfied with the taste and atmosphere of the restaurant.

I visited this restaurant near the hotel because I was craving raclette cheese. I was guided to a counter on the first floor. The atmosphere was like a dark, sophisticated bar. I had made a reservation for a course with all-you-can-drink included. For my first drink, I had a Sapporo Classic beer. For the appetizer, there were 8 kinds of dishes, including liver paste, mortadella, marinated salmon, chicken prosciutto, pate de campagne, cold potage, pickles, etc. The cold potage was especially delicious! There was also shrimp and broccoli in oil. The Hokkaido raclette cheese was tasty, but not as good as I had expected. By this point, I was quite full. There was also pasta, roast pork, and dessert. The portions were large, so I couldn't finish everything, but I enjoyed it.

I visited a restaurant in April 2022 where you can enjoy wine. The atmosphere is lovely and the place is very stylish. I ordered a white wine and Uni risotto, which was incredibly rich, flavorful, and had a great aftertaste. It was delicious! I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

[French] Baron Philippe Chardonnay 3,520 yen [Most Popular] Seared Sea Urchin Cream Risotto 980 yen The risotto has a deep cheese flavor with just the right amount of saltiness. The seared sea urchin has a subtle smoky flavor without any overpowering taste. The olive oil and black pepper are subtly added, and the slightly firm rice is well-balanced. It has an impactful yet gentle taste, easy to eat but leaves a lasting impression in the mouth, resonating well with the white wine. It's no wonder it's the most popular dish. It's delicious and I would love to eat it again. The young staff were friendly and cheerful, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. The conversation flowed and we left fully satisfied. With good value for money, I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again when I want to enjoy a light Italian meal.

It's conveniently located near the station and I didn't realize it was a proper restaurant until I looked it up because it looks like a bar from the outside. This time, I tried their course menu. We were seated on the second floor. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not too formal, suitable for gatherings from girls' night out to couples, and the staff were friendly which left a good impression on me. The course included drinks as well! There were many options and you can enjoy a variety of drinks. I was able to enjoy my favorite carpaccio and risotto, it was a satisfying course! They treated me to the meal and I was praising the cost performance - it was good that I chose this restaurant (laughs). It was delicious!

Visited Sapporo with my family on the first weekend of April and had a hard time finding a place for dinner as all the Italian restaurants we called were fully booked. Finally, we managed to make a reservation at "Osteria Barva" in Susukino. The restaurant was bustling, with a full parking lot and a lively atmosphere on the first floor. We were seated on the second floor. Here is what we ordered: - Shrimp and avocado salad (980 yen) - Assorted appetizers (1,200 yen) - Instantly smoked raw sea urchin and mackerel (1,380 yen) - Roast beef (1,960 yen) - Seafood in oil (1,480 yen) - Margherita pizza with mozzarella (1,200 yen) - Quattro formaggi pizza (1,280 yen) - Shrimp américaine risotto (1,080 yen) - Seared sea urchin cream risotto (1,280 yen) - Raclette with choice of toppings (850 yen) - Cover charge (455 yen) included pickles The salad was delicious with perfectly ripe avocado and a high-quality dressing. The assorted appetizers included liver confit, beef paste, chicken (ham?), and broccoli truffle oil. The raw sea urchin and mackerel dish was a fun illusion with a unique presentation. The raclette with choice of toppings used cheese from Obihiro, and it was a delight to watch it melt in front of us. The seared sea urchin cream risotto was made with a decent amount of sea urchin, and we were surprised to hear that they were using sea urchin from the Northern Territories at this price point. It was our first visit, but we all left satisfied and would consider coming back for more delicious sea urchin dishes at this price point. Thank you for the great meal.

Recommended dishes at the bar along the main street in Susukino seem to be uni-based. The most popular dish is the uni cream risotto, followed by delicious snow crab tomato sauce pasta, good carpaccio (with sardines that day), good sautéed swordfish. Overall, the quality was high! There is a variety of wines available at affordable prices. Next time, I want to try the uni pasta!

By the time we left, the restaurant was packed both upstairs and downstairs. It seems like a popular spot. You can also come here to eat pasta. The food was even better than I expected.
