In 2014, I came across a pickle shop called "Kakurenbo" in the residential area of Momokidai, Chitose City. The owner greeted me warmly and offered me some cucumber pickles and cucumber wine pickles to sample. I ended up choosing cucumber pickles along with other pickles like sweet vinegar pickled nagaimo, soy sauce pickled burdock and soybeans, crunchy onion, and kachiwari daikon. The pickles were delicious and perfect as a side dish or snack with rice or drinks. The prices were reasonable, and I would definitely visit this shop regularly. Thank you for the meal!
