I had a small crab whole pasta for lunch. The rich sauce with a strong dashi flavor mixed perfectly with the thin pasta, making it incredibly delicious. I went with someone who doesn't like hotate, but we found a great restaurant in Tomakomai with delicious food.

The lunch set includes Hokki curry and three types of pasta: Peperoncino, cream pasta, and the assassin's pasta chosen which is in tomato sauce. The assassin is supposedly chili, and you can choose the level of spiciness, but it's hard to communicate the exact preference. I asked for it to be very spicy. It comes with bread and soup, in a small portion. The soup is warm burdock soup, which was a bit too hot for the weather, I would have preferred something cold. The pasta has a rough and wild taste, with a natural flavor that you can't hide with olive oil. You can hear loud noises like frying that you would hear in a soup curry shop. Is it the chili making that noise? The pasta finally arrives, bright red and delicious-looking. It has a decent portion size. The noodles are thin like capellini, slightly curly, but it doesn't affect the taste or texture. It's quite tasty with lots of chili and garlic, but it's a bit heavy on the oil for me. The bread was very delicious! The lunch set menu wasn't available in the restaurant, so I had to show it on my phone. All in all, I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

The adjacent "Platto Minato Market" to Tomakomai Fishing Port has been gaining popularity through the efforts of various eateries. Despite the lack of significant charm in Tomakomai, it is appreciated that tourists are visiting. The market has seen a decrease in traditional tenants like flower shops, but an increase in eateries, including a new addition of an Italian restaurant. The restaurant offers a variety of takeout deli items, catering more towards locals than tourists. The menu could benefit from more variety and preparation. The pasta course with appetizer and soup was decent, with a flavorful sweet potato soup. The pasta was well-cooked but slightly bland. The use of local seafood could enhance the authenticity of the dishes. The chef, a Tomakomai native, shows promise in this unique Italian venture. It is suggested to incorporate more local elements to stand out in the market. A bit more creativity and finesse in the dishes would be appreciated. Overall, the pricing is reasonable, and it is worth trying other pasta dishes in the future. The friendly chef should continue to strive for improvement and learn from neighboring eateries.

After Golden Week, I visited the restaurant on a weekday at 11:50 am. There were no customers when I arrived, but two people came in after me. The background music was jazz. I hope the market gets more lively, and I'm not sure about using Italian to attract customers since the restaurant is newly opened. I ordered the Hokki Curry Rice with a little less portion. While waiting, I tried a freshly brewed Guatemala blend coffee for free, even though it was already cold. It was good! The dish was ready in 15 minutes, and I enjoyed it. It turned out this place used to be a pasta restaurant. Congratulations on your opening! The Hokki Curry costs 1100 yen. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I had lunch at the Minato Market by chance. When I entered the roadside station and looked for a restaurant, I was surprised to find an Italian restaurant here! As a pasta lover, I had to go in. First, let's talk about the staff's service. I usually wear plain work clothes, which might not be suitable for an Italian restaurant, but they were very gentlemanly and warm in their approach. The manager explained that the concept is based on Italian casual dining. The dishes were far from casual - they were absolutely delicious and made me feel luxurious. I ordered the seafood pasta set with a generous portion. The salad with dressing was amazing, enhancing the flavor of the vegetables. The soup was gentle and comforting. Then came the main pasta dish. The handmade noodles and sauce were both made from scratch. The pasta had a wonderful aroma, and the sauce was rich without overpowering the pasta's flavor. It was a perfect harmony of flavors. Honestly, it was on par with high-end restaurants in the center of Sapporo. I couldn't believe this level of quality at a roadside station. Next time, I will definitely try their Hokkaido scallop curry. It was truly delicious, and I will be back for more.

On April 24th, the Soup Curry restaurant 94Store opened, followed by the Genghis Khan Club on April 28th, and now Kestrauna has also opened. Amazing! It's a new store rush! By the way, the Soup Curry restaurant is located diagonally across the street. Their specialties include pasta made with surf clams and fresh seafood, as well as homemade canelés and other sweets. This time, I happened to visit the day after it opened. Honestly, the atmosphere doesn't quite match the Minato Market vibe. But maybe Italian cuisine works well in a market setting. The prices are also reasonable, starting from 900 yen. ★ Spring Cabbage and Small Shrimp Peperoncino 900 yen - The sakura-flavored fresh pasta was much more delicious than expected! The texture was amazing. The pink color of the noodles was cute! The flavor of the small shrimp also complemented the dish well. The pasta made with Hokkaido wheat was really delicious. For an additional 300 yen, you can add soup and an appetizer to your pasta. For an additional 500 yen, you can get two desserts and a drink with the Dolce course. They also offer takeout items like Chicago-style pizza, pizza toast, waffles, salted butter rolls, chiffon cakes, meringues, cookies, canelés, and more. Takeout drinks include iced coffee, milk coffee, milk, black tea, orange juice, pineapple juice, and others. Be sure to try Italian cuisine at the market. Thank you for the meal!

I cheated on my lunch but couldn't give up, so I looked at the restaurant and found that they had a lot of takeout items. There was a deal where you could get 3 items for 1000 yen, so I decided to buy them. The asparagus mousse looked interesting, with a jelly-like texture that I didn't expect. It had a grainy and chewy texture like zunda, and the jelly had a salty cold soup-like flavor. It wasn't a dessert as I thought, but more like a deli item. The other item I got wasn't what I expected - I wanted a white canelé but got a potato mousse with Parmesan instead. It seems I got confused between sweet and savory items on the menu. I learned my lesson from the asparagus mousse and mixed them together, which turned out great. I also bought a canelé and walnut bread for later. I'll definitely try eating in next time. They also have spicy pasta on the menu. Thank you for the meal!
