This is a quiet wooden izakaya located across from a residential park. It's a bit hard to find. I used to come here often with my work colleagues. The inside of the restaurant has a cozy Showa era grandma's house vibe. There's a kind-looking mother and maybe a father in the kitchen? When you come here, the first thing you order is a beer! The ice-cold glass is so refreshing! It's half frozen. The popular dishes here are Tsukiji sea bream, tsubo, karaage, dashimaki tamago, and grated nameko mushrooms. While casual izakayas are more affordable, it's nice to visit an adult-oriented izakaya like this once in a while.

The place is located behind Hokkaido Bank in Eniwa, right across from the park. The exterior looks like a log house, made of wood. It's not exactly beautiful. Once you step inside, it feels like stepping back into the Showa era. It's quite retro. This place is like an izakaya, but I've only tried their "nabe-yaki udon." It's delicious. However, the order takes quite a while to arrive. Another recommendation is their "draft beer." The mug is very cold. When you pour the beer, it's just about to freeze. Some people come here just for the beer. As far as I know, this place has been operating for about 30 years. It's a hidden gem that only a few people know about.
