Genghis Khan is not something you get to try often in life, maybe about four times in my case. I've had it in various places like Hakata, Nagano, Morioka, and now in Hokkaido. Finally, I was able to try authentic Genghis Khan. There are so many restaurants to choose from, but I decided to visit this one based on recommendations. Even though it was early, there were already a few groups dining. I sat at the counter and decided to go with the "Beginner's Set for 2,300 yen". I also added the "Drink and Rice Set for 600 yen" along with "Bean Sprouts" and "Cabbage" for 220 yen each. The Hokkaido lamb was delicious, especially the salted one. The sauce options of soy sauce and miso were both tasty. The rice was a bit disappointing, but the vegetables were good with just the bean sprouts and cabbage. The onions served as an appetizer were a nice touch. However, the bean sprouts in the Genghis Khan were a bit hard to eat, hard to pick up, and hard to cook without burning. But the person next to me ate them so neatly, showing their expertise. Overall, my first experience with Hokkaido Genghis Khan was quite enjoyable.

I had dinner on the first day of my trip to Sapporo. I wanted to try salted lamb barbecue, so I went to Kako Masashita Yakiniku. The meat was not too gamey and easy to eat. Even though I wasn't very hungry, I finished it all in no time! And the best part is, even though I was full, it was cheap and amazing!

Originally, I didn't like lamb and always avoided it, but after trying it in Hokkaido, I found that I could eat it. It's true that there is less gaminess (although not completely odorless) and lamb oil is delicious! The all-you-can-drink option is around 2,500 yen, which is a great deal, and despite most tables ordering it, the staff were accommodating and never looked displeased when taking our orders.

In recent years, when it comes to Genghis Khan in Sapporo, "Yozora no Genghis Khan" is the place to go, with their delicious raw lamb! It's tender, without any strong smell, and goes perfectly with beer. Since it was featured on TV, reservations are a must, so be sure to plan ahead!

90-minute all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink for 4980 yen. The meat was not smelly at all, fresh, and delicious. At first, one serving of meat and vegetable platter comes out for each person, but not knowing that, we added two more servings, and the amount of vegetables... haha. We managed to finish it all within the time, but I recommend ordering one serving at a time multiple times.

With all-you-can-drink for around 5000 yen, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat six types of meat. It's common to grill fresh lamb and eat it with sauce, but surprisingly, the round frozen mutton is delicious too. The seasoned lamb and tender lamb also taste great, and the flavors change as you eat, so you won't get tired of it! Yes, it's delicious. For the finale, have some green onion rice with lamb.

The first party was lacking in excitement with fish dishes, so we decided to visit a Genghis Khan (Mongolian BBQ) restaurant for the second party, which turned out to be a great choice. The 90-minute all-you-can-drink option was just right in terms of timing, and the fact that last order is 10 minutes before closing is considerate and appreciated. I highly recommend Genghis Khan for a second party.

I visited this restaurant during my sightseeing in Sapporo. It was my first time trying Genghis Khan (grilled lamb), and all the meats were delicious. The venison from Noboribetsu was especially amazing, I ended up ordering it three times (lol). The side dishes were also great, making the whole dining experience enjoyable. However, since it's a popular spot, it can get quite crowded on weekends, so I recommend making a reservation online in advance. Also, there are several branches of this restaurant, so if you can't get a reservation here, consider trying one of the other locations.

I visited the second restaurant. I called the main store in advance and was told it was full, so I asked about the situation at other locations, but they didn't know. I knew there were several locations, so I called this one and they said they had availability and made a reservation for me right away. There were table seats and counter seats, and for 2 people, we would most likely be seated at the counter. There were about 4 or 5 table seats, so I thought it was a small restaurant. The seats where you can enjoy the night sky view are only at the table seats, so if you sit at the counter, you will either face the kitchen wall or the building wall, so it's better to think of it as a normal restaurant. I ordered a Black Nikka highball, raw lamb, and salted lamb. The prices range from about 800 yen to 1,000 yen per serving. Onions were served as a starter. Both the raw lamb and salted lamb were easy to eat, and my companion, who was having Genghis Khan for the first time, had no problem eating it. However, it's not completely devoid of any distinctive taste, and you can still feel that you're eating lamb from the texture and the sensation that lingers in your nose. Therefore, even those who want to try Genghis Khan should be satisfied. The raw lamb was delicious when eaten with the sauce. There were soy sauce-based and miso-based sauces available. The salted lamb was tasty as it was already seasoned. The seasoning is similar to a salt-based sauce. I also used this restaurant as my second stop, and I think it's better to order less food and use it as a second stop rather than having a full meal here. Thank you for the meal.

After visiting Nijo Market, we went to Otaru to see the Otaru Canal, then returned to our hotel in Sapporo for a relaxing time at the spa. We visited a Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue) restaurant that I saw on Instagram, where I had to pose in front of the restaurant just like the singer Morisaki Chihiro did. The Genghis Khan at night was delicious, and we tried different types of lamb including Hokkaido and Australian lamb. We also ordered Hokkaido venison. The restaurant had a famous sign of Nikka Whisky's old man from inside. Genghis Khan is a must-try in Hokkaido! We started with an introductory set and then tried a variety of lamb dishes. The lamb was juicy and tasty, especially the fresh lamb without any strong flavors. The restaurant was busy with customers constantly coming in, showing its popularity. It seems that some locals prefer the stronger-flavored Genghis Khan, but for beginners like us, the milder version was delicious and highly recommended. My family also enjoyed the meal.

I chose this place because I wanted to try Ezo deer. Ezo deer is lean with little fat and has a light taste, which was delicious. The lamb meat was also easy to eat without any strong odor. I wanted to add pickled vegetables later, but they were already sold out, so it's better to order early.

The salted Mongolian barbecue, Hokkaido-style Mongolian barbecue, and Ezo deer were especially delicious. I already liked Ezo deer, but it was my first time eating it in a wild Mongolian barbecue style (it was delicious). Also, I had a ramen salad (and later topped it off with miso ramen as well, haha).

I went to the Night Sky Genghis Khan in the middle of Susukino! It's a famous restaurant, so I made a reservation for the all-you-can-eat and drink option. It was snowing heavily on the day, and it was very cold. I wish I had brought an umbrella. The interior of the restaurant is spacious with a counter and tables, and it was already full. Booking in advance was the right decision. The all-you-can-eat menu has several types of Genghis Khan, so you can enjoy various flavors. There are also plenty of vegetables. In addition, there are other menu items such as sausages, egg soup, and seaweed soup, so I didn't get bored within the time limit. It was delicious just like Daruma. Please consider this when you visit Hokkaido.

The McDonald's building on the 5th floor of the Susukino intersection is always crowded, but this time we were able to easily get in after 9 o'clock! They have unique offerings like 270 yen for oolong tea and 580 yen for all-you-can-drink soft drinks for 90 minutes, which is a great deal. They also have all-you-can-drink options for 1600 yen for 90 minutes and 2100 yen for 120 minutes. The all-you-can-eat and drink option for 4500 yen with 4 types of Genghis Khan is quite cheap! I recommend coming here for the first round. The Sapporo Classic draft beer is 530 yen, the most popular salt Genghis Khan is 820 yen for 100g, and the Australian lamb is 990 yen for 100g. The salt Genghis Khan is delicious, but the lamb has a slight smell and was tasty. The meat is good quality, and the onions are fresh! The Cholegi salad for 580 yen is quite salty, perfect for beer. It comes with soy sauce and miso dressings, both delicious! You can enjoy eating Genghis Khan while watching the Nikka Whisky Factory from the window, where you can see the colors changing constantly. It was surprising how close it was! It was delicious~! We were able to use a Hokkaido support coupon too! Thank you for the meal!!

I couldn't visit my favorite restaurant, so I visited this place instead, and the Genghis Khan dish exceeded my expectations in terms of taste. The raw lamb was incredibly tender with no strong flavor. The sauce was not too strong, and I ended up ordering rice as well. I personally prefer the Australian lamb as it is less fatty, but I understand that some may prefer the fattier Hokkaido lamb. There are plenty of table seats, making it easy to use. I highly recommend this place for its delicious food. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely visit again for Genghis Khan when in Sapporo!

I was recommended by a friend in Sapporo to visit a local Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue) restaurant that is popular among the locals. We ordered the "Genghis Khan Introduction" set, which allowed us to try a variety of Genghis Khan dishes. The set came with two dipping sauces, soy sauce-based and miso-based. The meat was tender, with just the right amount of fat, and we enjoyed the meal at a good pace. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, and we could see the beautiful Nikka sign from Susukino. It was a delightful dining experience, and I would definitely consider coming back again. Thank you for the meal.

Hokkaido, Susukino is so romantic with its night view! It was a girls' night out, but still. It was my first time trying Genghis Khan, and I thought it would be smelly, but it wasn't at all! It was so tender that I couldn't tell which was the standard and which was the tender one! I always thought it would be tough and chewy, but it wasn't at all! What is this, it's amazing! I wanted to eat more because it was so good, but my stomach couldn't handle it... so sad. Also, cooking vegetables for Genghis Khan is difficult, isn't it? That's all.

After finishing work, I had a craving for meat after eating a lot of sushi and izakaya recently. I always struggle between choosing yakiniku or Genghis Khan. There's a fine line between the two in my mind. While you can eat Genghis Khan at a yakiniku restaurant, it's not the pure Genghis Khan experience. So, after organizing my thoughts, I decided to go for Genghis Khan this time. Unfortunately, due to the upcoming COVID-19 restrictions in Hokkaido, dining out will be limited again. So, I'm making the most of it by eating out as much as I can now. The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of the Keiai Building, where McDonald's is also located. I ordered the "2 kinds of Genghis Khan (all-you-can-eat and drink for 4,280 yen)" with a coupon for lamb rolls. The atmosphere inside the dimly lit restaurant was spacious and non-smoking, which was a plus. I enjoyed kimchi and draft beer while waiting for the two types of Genghis Khan to arrive. The lamb rolls, salt-seasoned Genghis Khan, and standard Genghis Khan were all delicious, especially the raw lamb meat. The meat was beautifully marbled, tender, and juicy when cooked. The variety of vegetables and mushrooms served with the meat was also a nice touch. Overall, I left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied, thanks to the reasonable price.

One day, I came to a Genghis Khan restaurant alone because I was unsure how to use my Smile Coupon. The night sky Genghis Khan that I heard was delicious made me excited to go, but I didn't really understand the appeal. It was not much different from eating at home. They had papers where you could write your name, so maybe it's popular for taking photos. I preferred the food at Doma, and the fried lamb chops were tasty. The customer service was terrible, with the staff being loud and slow to respond when called. The ice cream I took home was very crunchy. Sheep's milk is unique, and there is even a dessert shop specializing in sheep's milk on the main street. I won't be coming back. Thank you for the meal.

Salted and marinated Genghis Khan is the best!!! There are many Genghis Khan restaurants, but personally, this is the best one! The flavors never get boring, and I always end up wanting to order more rice to go with it!! They also have tasting sets where you can compare different options, all of which are delicious, but for me, salted and marinated Genghis Khan is the way to go.

On a Sunday holiday, I watched a movie in my room and lazed around. Then, with no plan for dinner, I wandered around. Oh, how about going to eat lamb over there? We decided to go there, but when we opened the door, the staff didn't notice us at all, even though it wasn't particularly crowded... As dusk approached, we thought, let's go to the night sky! So we visited and had salted lamb, Genghis Khan lamb, raw lamb, lamb tongue, lamb ribs, lamb potato salad, rice, grapefruit sour, and ginger ale. There were two types of sauce, soy sauce and miso. Personally, I wanted more sauce for the Genghis Khan lamb. Thank you for the meal.
