It was my first visit to a quirky café in a back alley of Matsukaze Town. It seems like there is no parking lot. I was curious about the cat that was said to be there, but I didn't see it right after my visit, so I ordered a hot sandwich set. After a while, a wild cat came in through the door crack. It didn't seem too interested in the customers. The hot sandwich had a strong pepper flavor and was delicious.

Hakodate is truly a wonderful kingdom of cafes. I have visited several new cafes in the Motomachi area so far, but around Hakodate Station, there are various long-established cafes, most of which are run by hardworking women who symbolize women in Hokkaido. The shops are stylish and clean, and the coffee has various unique features at each shop, which is interesting. Among them, this shop is an old-fashioned one, and the shop's mascot, a slightly chubby cat, was coming in and out, but it seemed to have gotten cold and couldn't move away from the stove. The coffee, carefully brewed with a filter, was delicious, and it was a cozy and comfortable place to relax. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

On a windy and cold day in March 2018, I found myself in Hakodate without knowing the area well. I decided to look for a cafe to warm up, but couldn't find one easily. That's when I saw a cat lounging in a back alley. Following the cafe sign, I entered and found two cats inside as well. The owner mentioned that they were her cats and that one of them was a former stray that she had taken in and cared for. I ordered a coffee, which was brewed with care and tasted delicious. The owner kindly provided me with directions when I left, and the cats were there to bid me farewell. It was a lovely experience. Thank you for the hospitality. ✿ฺ(๑´ڡ`๑)✿ฺ.

This is a morning visit to a café called Planet in Matsukaze Town. It is located along the Denki Street in Omote-sando, near Maruhan. The café is tucked away a bit off the main street, providing a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Inside, there are two 4-person tables, two 2-person tables, and counter seats. I decided to sit at a 2-person table near the window but was recommended to move to a 4-person table. I ordered the pancake set with coffee, priced at 680 yen. The pancakes were simple and delicious, and I enjoyed them for breakfast. While eating, a cat entered the café, running around energetically. It turns out there are three cats living in the café, including this one that used to be a stray. The peaceful atmosphere of the café makes it a comfortable space for solo customers. I couldn't get close to the cat, but if you're good at handling them, you might enjoy the company of these feline residents.

<March 2014> When it comes to breakfast in Hakodate, the seafood bowl at the Hakodate Morning Market is a must-try. Recently, the luxurious buffet at a hotel near the station has also become popular. However, such a lavish breakfast may feel a bit heavy during a long trip. So, on the morning of the fourth day of the journey, we decided to try a café in a back alley that we wouldn't normally visit. Located in a narrow alley off the street that extends from the station to Matsukaze-cho. We ordered the Morning Set and a grilled cheese sandwich set. In the chilly weather with snow still on the ground, the hot coffee warmed us up. The Morning Set included toast, fried egg, Napolitan pasta, and potato salad - a luxurious version. The grilled cheese sandwich was a hot sandwich with cheese and egg. Both were delicious and comforting, just like the atmosphere of the café. Thank you for the meal.

This is a café located at the entrance of a building. If you walk past it normally, you might miss it. I visited after 12 o'clock. When I opened the door, a cat suddenly appeared! I was surprised, but the staff asked me if I was okay with the cat, to which I replied that I was fine. I sat at a table by the window. There were no other customers inside, just me. I looked at the menu and confirmed if I could still order the morning set, which I ended up ordering. Jazz music was playing in the background, creating a nice atmosphere that I liked. While waiting, the cat appeared again. The owner told me about how the cat used to be a stray and some interesting facts about it. Then, the morning set arrived. It was a typical menu for a café, with delicious homemade potato salad and coffee from Misuzu Coffee. It's a cozy hideaway where you can relax. As I was leaving, the owner mentioned that the morning set is actually available all day. I thought it would be nice to bring a book next time I visit. Thank you for the meal!
