I used to eat pasta at home once a week, but for the past six months, I haven't been doing so as much. As a result, I've been eating pasta more often when dining out. This time, it's Italian restaurant "Pasta Yoh" in Asahikawa City, Toyooka 8-jo 3-chome, K Building 2F on the left. Open from 11:00 to 15:00 and 17:00 to 21:00 (lunch only on Sundays), closed on Mondays. Parking available. Child seats available. Please contact the store for current opening hours, closures, takeout availability, etc. Official Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pasta_you_/ You go up to the second floor. The shop on the right used to be a place where I had pizza before. Oh, it's "Kin no Baaru" now, but it seems to be a vacant store now. Yoh is the shop on the left after going up the stairs. As soon as I entered, I could smell garlic. It's intriguing. It's a child-friendly Italian restaurant, as indicated on Instagram. It's rare, isn't it? Child seats were also available. The bright and simple interior with plenty of natural light. When you look at the lunch menu, there are sets with appetizers too. Appetizers are crucial because they give you an idea of the quality of the following dishes. If the appetizer is delicious, you can expect the subsequent dishes to be great! That's why it's so exciting until the appetizer arrives. So this time, I'll have Set A (appetizer + choice of pasta) for 1800 yen. Here comes the appetizer, looks fantastic! The variety of vegetables with anchovy sauce and lemon oil. It's refreshing and delightful. It makes you look forward to the pasta that follows. The pasta I was eagerly anticipating has arrived. Hokkaido pork Bolognese cream (1300 yen for a single dish) with bread on the side. The freshly grated cheese has a strong aroma that excites you. It's a powerful flavor. The garlic, meaty Bolognese is absolutely delicious. It's not about the physical "quantity," but the "volume" of flavor and texture that fills your mouth. Next up! (Oh) White nukotta mozzarella and basil tomato sauce (1200 yen for a single dish) with fresh basil. The aroma of basil is so inviting. It's delicious. The wild basil aroma harmonizes beautifully with the high-quality tomato flavor, and the supporting role of mozzarella adds a nice touch. Each dish stands out, but they don't overpower each other. It must be the skill of the chef. The refreshing and elegant atmosphere of the restaurant, the friendly staff, and the welcoming atmosphere for families, combined with the impeccable taste, make it a place I would love to visit again. I'm curious about dinner too. (From Tabelog)
