I went to Sukiya 39th Kitami Miwa store! Now it's time for "breakfast at Sukiya" (^^) It's been a while since I visited Kitami, so I decided to have breakfast here. It was around 9 o'clock and there were about 4 groups of customers inside. It seems that people gather at this time because there are limited places open for breakfast. I chose from the breakfast menu: Sukiya's own Bacon Double Egg Breakfast with regular rice for 450 yen. It's still very affordable. I prefer the bacon a bit more cooked, but the double egg is nice and round, which adds to the satisfaction. Also, there was macaroni salad and seasoned seaweed. A satisfying breakfast indeed. Thank you for the meal!

While shopping, I stopped for lunch around 1 PM and felt like having curry. I went to the affordable Sukiya. They had a new item called "Yokohama Curry Beef" and you can adjust the spiciness level. I chose to make it two levels spicy. The dish arrived quickly, and there was a lot of curry sauce with small pieces of meat. It started off mild, but as I ate more, it got spicier and spicier. Towards the end, it was really spicy! But it was delicious. I would like to eat it again.

Visit date 2019.10.30. It's a very late dinner. The hangover fatigue from this morning never really went away... The power of Yamaokayasan this morning didn't help either... I'll just eat quickly and then go to the hotel's large public bath to sleep haha. Salmon set meal + mini beef bowl. It's nothing worth mentioning here at this point (lol). Everyone, I sometimes go to chain restaurants like this, but it's more like a diary so don't worry about it haha. I'm sure I'll be back to normal tomorrow and eat to my heart's content. Thank you for the meal!

It's Kitami. Last night, I went out drinking with my wife, and in the morning she went home. It feels like the opposite of the world of "Ti Amo." I'm pretending to be fine and active on Tabelog. I'm looking for a place to eat breakfast that I don't usually eat. I'm searching for somewhere I haven't eaten in Kitami, but deep down, I don't think there's anywhere I haven't eaten. With that feeling, I'm thinking of giving up for today and going home. However, I'm also running towards Rumoi. I saw an internet cafe and a McDonald's, but I didn't go in. I kept going and I know there's a "Sukiya" along this street. I passed by it, and it didn't seem like I had been there before. I casually looked it up. By the way, do you understand the meaning of "omomuro"? It actually means "calmly, leisurely, gently" rather than suddenly or unexpectedly. It describes a relaxed and unhurried way of starting something. It doesn't mean moving slowly, but rather starting to move slowly from a still position. I decided to go to "Sukiya" for breakfast instead of "Nakau." There were people loitering in front of "Nakau," but there didn't seem to be any at "Sukiya." Today's breakfast is decided to be at "Sukiya." There were even people in Lexus cars in the parking lot. It's strange to see Lexus cars at "Sukiya," but that's none of my business. When I entered the store, there were so many people that it seemed unbalanced with the cars parked outside. This place doesn't have a ticket machine. I looked at the menu and struggled to decide what to order. The time I spent looking at the menu was longer than the time it took for the food to arrive and finish eating it. I'm not used to this, so I don't even know what to choose from the menu. I ended up randomly ordering the "Pork Curry Mini for 390 yen." I thought it was cheap, but after finishing eating, I didn't think it was cheap at all. It arrived in less than a minute. It was very watery. It had a lot of ingredients, and I don't like touching potatoes. I didn't want any spiciness, but avoiding the ingredients left me with nothing to eat. I had half of the rice left. It was a complete choice mistake. I should have just gone for TKG.

I'm going to take care of a small errand in Asahikawa in the morning and then have a quick breakfast before heading to work today. There aren't many places to have breakfast in Asahikawa, so I briefly considered having morning ramen at "Yamaokaya," but I don't feel like smelling that in the morning. In the end, I decided to go to "Sukiya Miwa Branch." It's fast, cheap, and the food is decent. I ordered the "Mixed Topping Breakfast" for 340 yen. Lately, I've been having this a lot. It comes with a soft-boiled egg, okra, and shredded seaweed. You can help yourself to pickled ginger. The rice portion is a bit large, but it arrived quickly and I dug in energetically. Alright, let's do our best today!

Well, I always go to this restaurant during my work breaks, but I'm posting about it now for some reason. I tried using the Sukiya app for mobile payment. Have you noticed the QR codes on the seats recently? You can select your menu in advance on the app, scan the QR code when you're ready to order, and complete the payment with your pre-registered credit card, all without having to call anyone. It's quick if you just want a regular beef bowl, but if you want side dishes or extras, it's more efficient to use this mobile payment. It might be useful even for a family of four dining at a table without having to explain and order individually. Now, onto the taste. The curry is so thin, it almost feels like soup curry. The Sarasa Pork curry is well-balanced with acidity and saltiness, and I prefer it over Matsuya's curry, even though there's a Matsuya nearby. They also have a Salted Mackerel side dish that's boneless, juicy, and easy to eat. The limited-time Honey Mustard Lettuce is interesting with the walnut accent.

I went to "Sukiya" today for breakfast for some reason. The "Sukiya" in the city has one store each in the east and west, and this one is located in the commercial area in the west. It's called "Sukiya 39th Kitami Miwa Store." It was 9:30 am. There were two solo businessmen as the first customers. I sat in the corner of the counter seat in a U-shape, right by the entrance, the last seat. It was my first visit, so I felt a bit out of place... (sweating) The other customers were also solo businessmen, three of them, and they seemed familiar with the place. They ordered without looking at the menu. I did a little research before going, so I was able to order without hesitation. I looked for the menu a bit though. I ordered the "Bacon Asparagus (tamagokake) breakfast" for 350 yen. There were other options like salted mackerel, salmon, and natto, and you could choose raw egg or pickles. It took about 30 seconds from ordering to serving. The rice, slightly in a large portion, mixed with raw egg using the special soy sauce - I added the bacon & asparagus and potato salad and enjoyed it. The miso soup with thick fried tofu was also good. It was gone in no time! It was a delicious breakfast! Thank you for the meal. Let's start the day with energy from breakfast! Now, let's go to work!

The other day, I visited a Sukiya restaurant, which is known for its beef bowls. This particular branch, Sukiya Route 39 Kitami Miwa, is just like any other branch across the country. Sometimes, I crave the familiar taste that Sukiya offers. Since there is no Sukiya restaurant in my city, I had to drive for an hour to satisfy my craving for beef bowls. When I walked into the restaurant with its red and orange-themed sign, I was served the usual beef bowl. One of the things I love about Sukiya is their wide variety of menu options, but my favorite is the beef bowl with green onions. I have been hooked on it since I first tried it. I am looking forward to the opening of a Sukiya branch in my city soon.
