I visited "Torijiro Nishi 18th Avenue Store" on April 25th. It was my second visit, with the first one being on July 2nd, 2018. The restaurant is located in a building near Nishi 18th Avenue subway station. Today, we had a farewell party for a colleague who is transferring to a new workplace. We opted for the 3500 yen all-you-can-drink course, which includes 120 minutes of free-flowing beer. The restaurant has private rooms with no doors, creating an open and bright atmosphere with glass partitions. The table is a sunken kotatsu style, which was quite cozy. The course included a salad with okra and daikon served according to the number of people, a sashimi platter with salmon, bonito, and tuna, fried chicken made with young chicken from Sapporo, stir-fried pork and root vegetables, shiso-wrapped horse mackerel tempura, mapo tofu with thick fried tofu and mushrooms, shrimp spring rolls, fried rice with small dried fish and pickled vegetables, and yuzu sherbet for dessert. Although the food portion was not large, it was a good value considering the all-you-can-drink option. Everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

New Chitose Airport arrived after 10 pm, arrived at the Satsueki station around 11 pm, and ended up heading to Susukino from this time, which could lead to an all-night course. So, I came to this place a little away from there. This is a precious restaurant that stays open late in this area. This is my second visit to this bright and clean restaurant where you go downstairs and take off your shoes. Are all the seats private rooms? There is a single item all-you-can-drink option, which is great for drinkers. Around 11:30 pm, the restaurant was quite crowded, maybe because it was the night before a holiday. The otoshi was pickled daikon radish, quite flavorful. I ordered... grated yam potato fries - so delicious! However, the flavor was a bit strong... it was so tasty that I could taste the umami as I chewed. Livers were unexpectedly served as karaage in Naka-Satsunai, with a crispy coating and incredibly tasty seasoning! The coating was thin and good! The meat was firm yet juicy - highly recommended! Highballs go down smoothly. The chicken at Torijiro was delicious, but overall the flavors were a bit strong. Even at Yuran, which I like for its strong flavors, it was quite intense... The yakitori place I went to around here last time was also quite strong. I wonder if this is normal in this area... Well, I'll come back when I arrive late again. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant is located near Nishi 18-chome Station on the Tozai Line. It is in the basement of a building, but since the entire floor is filled with shops, it feels quite spacious. You have to take off your shoes at the entrance. The tatami rooms are all private or semi-private with sunken kotatsu tables, making it surprisingly relaxing. It seems like the specialty of the shop is Naka-satsunai local chicken. As for drinks, they offer all-you-can-drink Sapporo Classic beer, which is always a good choice. For food, I ordered the "Fresh Vegetable Platter" which included a mountain of cabbage, carrot sticks, cucumber, and daikon with miso and mayonnaise. The famous extra-large skewered Naka-satsunai chicken was delicious with a rich flavor. The all-you-can-drink sake options like Kokki Koroishi, Kita no Homare, and Taiyo no Kura were also enjoyable. The assorted grilled chicken skewers went well with the drinks. I had a relaxing time enjoying the food and drinks. Thank you for the meal.

Located in the area near Subway Nishi 18-chome Station, this izakaya is situated underground in a building along Odori Street. I visited with my colleagues for dinner. The interior exudes a traditional Japanese atmosphere and a sense of sophistication. There are plenty of private rooms available, suitable for various occasions. While the menu may not be as extensive as that of a major chain izakaya, the dishes showed a lot of attention to detail. We ordered dishes like the ones in the photos, and everything was delicious. This time, we opted for a drink-all-you-can plan and ordered dishes separately, costing around 4,000 yen per person, which I found reasonable. The staff were courteous and made a good impression, making it a recommended choice for dining in a private setting.

I wanted to go to a shop near my home, but it was closed. Then I walked a bit and found Azasan, but it was full. I kept walking and found a Genghis Khan restaurant, but it was closed too. Finally, I found Torijiro and decided to go in since I was hungry. It had a casual izakaya atmosphere. I didn't research anything before going in, but as expected, it's better not to have high expectations for casual izakaya without research. The chicken skewers were tough, the ramen was bland, and the salmon roll had hard seaweed and rice. The rich cheese and tsukune were delicious though. The prices were quite high, so compared to places like Kashiwaya, it was just okay. The service was good. Thank you for the meal!

This is around the subway West 18th Street. We had a New Year's party at this place with 6 people. Since everyone gained weight during the New Year, we decided to go for a light option, a 3500 yen all-you-can-drink course. When we descended underground from the entrance along the subway, we were surprised by how spacious it was! There was a lively party of young government officials going on in the wide entrance, with rows of shoes lined up. At first, we thought it would be noisy, but since we had a private room, it didn't bother us. The interior was new and clean, making it a pleasant izakaya. We started with highballs. The dishes included pork belly shabu-shabu, Caesar salad with raw ham, 3 types of sashimi, deep-fried half chicken, boiled pork with garlic sauce, chicken and mushroom stir-fry with oyster sauce, ramen for finishing, and ice cream. The taste was decent, with no dish being bad. We felt like we could use one more dish for volume, but for the average person, it would be very satisfying. The staff were efficient, even with a large group of guests, and the service was pleasant. Thank you for the meal!

Visited for a second party at 9:00 PM on January 17, 2020. Didn't order much because I had eaten at the first place, but everything was delicious. The Caesar salad, smoked cheese, and sautéed nagaimo were all tasty. The all-you-can-drink option was cheap, and the atmosphere in the private room was nice.

I went for the first time. The restaurant has private rooms where you can relax and drink. The staff were friendly and the drinks came quickly. The food was delicious too, so I want to go again.

I searched for a nearby izakaya using Tabelog near the hotel and found "Tori Jiro". I discovered the menu on Tabelog and found "Karasage of medium Satsunai chicken thighs". I love fried chicken thighs, so I went to visit the restaurant immediately. The restaurant is located on the basement floor. I went down the stairs and entered the restaurant. The staff welcomed me as I entered. I was guided to a sunken kotatsu seating area. I sat down and ordered a draft beer and the karasage of medium Satsunai chicken thighs. The draft beer arrived promptly. The karasage of medium Satsunai chicken thighs arrived in about 10 minutes. Appearance... it has a crispy coating. Hmm... it was different from what I expected. I took a bite... the crispy coating is a bit overpowering. The crispy texture of the chicken skin is lost in the crispy coating. The flavor is also dominated by the taste of the coating. Unfortunately. The "Potato Butter Salted Cod Roe" that I ordered later was delicious, but the salted cod roe was a bit lacking. Thank you for the meal. Goodbye.

We entered this shop with a friend because we felt like we hadn't had enough to drink. When we expressed our desire to have a drink, they welcomed us warmly. Let's toast with a highball. The appetizer is simmered daikon and minced meat!? The daikon has soaked up the flavors and is delicious. In the end, how many highballs did we drink with just the appetizer as a snack? Since we didn't eat any food, there is no rating. I would like to eat properly next time and then give a rating if the opportunity arises. (28.3)

The place is located on the basement floor of Lions Mansion 8 Odori, at Odori Nishi 17-chome. While the map on Tabelog has been corrected, the map on Hot Pepper shows a slightly different location when zoomed in. There is no parking at the store, but there are plenty of coin parking lots nearby. It is located near Nishi 18-chome Station on the Tozai Line. It is a clean izakaya with a warm wooden atmosphere, and most seats are private rooms. You enter the store by taking off your shoes, creating a casual and relaxing atmosphere. Despite the name "Torijiro," it is not related to Toritaro which is centered around Kotoni. There is also a Kitani store near Sapporo Station. It is a typical izakaya like Shirakiya or Watami, but their specialty seems to be dishes made with Naka-Satsunai local chicken. They also offer a wide range of other menu items, including sushi and grilled dishes. Unfortunately, I missed taking pictures of the menu, so please check the Hot Pepper website for more details.

I used it for a banquet. The food was just about passable for a student banquet... The beer was average, but I ended up drinking quite a bit of no-name "sweet potato shochu" on the rocks, and the next day my eyes hurt so much... I don't really remember the menu, but overall, it's suitable for a student drinking party.

I stopped by this place before and today is my second time. It still has that typical taste of a school festival, but it's not a standout place. The restaurant has many private rooms, so it might be ideal for families with children, but don't expect much from the taste. All the dishes are just average... Once again, there was nothing that made me go "Wow!" The recommended fried tofu had cold tofu inside, and the pork belly mapo tofu was just salty and lukewarm... The draft beer was also lukewarm, the dishes were lukewarm, I wish they would at least be consistent with serving temperatures. It's always empty here, and now I know why... (It's convenient for families with children, but still) I visited twice with my kids, but last time I thought it was just a coincidence. It's tough to have the same experience twice. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant are great, but the taste is just not good at all. And on top of that, they made a fatal mistake at the end (which apparently violates the Tabelog guidelines). The owner really needs to step up their game. That's all.

The other day, I went to a restaurant with my colleagues for lunch. The menu had a lot of dishes using chicken, targeting students with options like oyakodon ramen set or zangi don ramen set. I ordered a chicken meat sauce pasta. The taste of the main dish was neither good nor bad. Here are some points of dissatisfaction:
- There were 5 of us, but each dish came out separately, and the 5th dish came out 1 hour after we started eating.
- The first dish took over 30 minutes to come out.
- The ramen in the set was so bland that it seemed like they forgot to add salt, and the noodles were overcooked.
- The set came with raw vegetables and no dressing, and there were no condiments on the table. The vegetables were not particularly fresh.
- The soup that came with the pasta set was too salty. It was so salty that I couldn't even take 2 sips, and I couldn't even tell what flavor it was.
Some positive points:
- The staff was not unfriendly.
- The meat in the mapo tofu rice bowl looked delicious.
- The dinner menu had many delicious-looking dishes.
I hope they can improve their service, especially in terms of timely delivery of meals during lunchtime. It was disappointing to experience such poor seasoning and timing. I wonder if there was some trouble in the kitchen on the day I visited...? I hope they can improve the basics and provide better service. I know this may come off as impolite, but I wanted to give my critical feedback.

Ordered the delicious salt-fried chicken and green onion bento. It had a generous amount and was very satisfying to eat. The seasoning was simple but incredibly tasty. Thank you for the meal.
