[Takeout Available] A Japanese tea shop opened in June 2023 in the Sapporo Machinaka Odori-Sapporo Station area. They offer matcha sweets and tea leaves from the tea fields in Wazuka, Kyoto. Located along Nishi 3-chome Street, near North 2 Block. I visited for the first time at 4 pm on July 31, 2023. I usually find walking in the city tiring, as I often ride my bicycle on rural roads. However, I stumbled upon this oasis while walking around. I'm not a fan of matcha, but I decided to try their summer limited water-drawn green tea for 450 yen. The refreshing taste of the tea leaves left a pleasant aftertaste. I could drink this delicious green tea forever. That's how good it was.

I was wandering around the central area and came across a shop that I hadn't seen before. I searched on Tabelog and found that the shop was registered, but there were no reviews. As I was looking at the menu near the entrance, a middle-aged male staff member greeted me with "Welcome" as he was working alone. He led me into the shop and said, "We are a tea shop from Kyoto," using polite language and showing a good customer service attitude. The menu included various types of matcha and sencha, such as "Matcha Latte @550, Single Origin Matcha Latte @750." For food, they had items like "Matcha Tiramisu @500, Rich Matcha Tiramisu @550, Marble Matcha Chocolate Cheesecake @600, Hojicha Tiramisu @500," offering a variety of sweet treats. For more details, please check their Instagram, although it is mostly in English. There were no seats near the entrance, so I wondered if the eat-in area was on the second floor. They also accept reservations, so if you want to savor their offerings leisurely, please check their Instagram, which is mostly in English as well. I ordered "Cold Brew Sencha @450," which was poured into a cup for takeout and handed to me along with a straw. I enjoyed it as I walked towards Sapporo Station. It had a clear and refreshing taste without any bitterness, with a pleasant aroma unlike bottled tea. I would love to drink this tea every day in the summer. My spouse and I both enjoy matcha sweets, so we will definitely treat ourselves to them next time. Thank you for the meal.
