I forgot the name of the dessert, but it seemed to be a new addition. It had a lemon flavor, with a rich and firm cream filling that was satisfying to eat. It didn't spill out when you bite into it. Of course, it was delicious. The second cake had a chocolate roll with tea flavor, which was very tasty. The top and inside were delicious as well, and the overall balance was great. I will definitely order it again next time I visit.

I think I've tried various types of cakes here, but I really love the caramel salt cake here! It might be my favorite cake!! The cookie-based desserts are also delicious, especially the meringue-based treats that I love to buy.

In the June 2021 issue of Hokkaido's Jalan magazine, there is a page featuring Ichigo sweets. One of the items is the Gourmet Frais (750 yen), a macaron sandwich with pistachio cream and strawberries. It is limited edition with only 4 available per day (from May 20th to June 19th). I couldn't buy it right after the release, so I called in advance to reserve it and revisited the store. I also bought other cakes that caught my eye: Mont Blanc (480 yen, for my wife), Opera (430 yen, for my second son), and Gateau Frais (450 yen, for my eldest son). When we got home, my daughter and I tried the Gourmet Frais first. It looked beautiful. The taste of the strawberries was amazing, with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. The strawberries were so soft and delicious that it was worth buying just for them. The pistachio cream, the scent of cherry blossoms (I think?), and the flavor of the macaron were all delicious. I digress, but am I the only one who feels that macarons taste like marzipan? My daughter wanted to try it, so we took photos and savored it slowly. I personally prefer straightforward and simple sweets, but overall, I thought the technicality of the Gourmet Frais was impressive. It was delicious. The Gateau Frais was devoured by my eldest son, and the rest were enjoyed by everyone. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

It was a bit late, so there were few choices of wagashi (Japanese sweets), but there were plenty of baked sweets. The Mont Blanc had meringue on top, finely chopped chestnuts inside, and a tart at the bottom. The pudding had a flavor that seemed like alcohol, but I don't think it actually had any. It had an adult taste and was delicious. The canelé had a crispy exterior but was surprisingly moist inside, and it was delicious. It was made with locally sourced ingredients like Nekan milk, Harukirari whole wheat flour, and Hokkaido honey. It was my top 3 favorite canelés. The service was polite and friendly, making shopping enjoyable. The Christmas cakes were reasonably priced, starting from 2000 yen for a small size, which is good for couples. I would love to try their cakes again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

The authentic taste of a residential street! I've had meringue baked goods before, but this was my first time trying their cakes. While meringue baked goods are good, cakes are on another level. The tiramisu and chocolate cake were a bit pricey at 900 yen, but the taste was worth it. The tiramisu had a unique lemon yellow cheese cream layer, which I couldn't quite figure out if it had egg yolk mixed in with the cheese (but it was delicious). The chocolate cake had layers of Paris chocolate, buttercream, and two types of cocoa sponge, all of which were tasty. It might be expensive to buy for the whole family, but it's perfect as a treat for yourself or as a gift. I'd like to try their fruit cakes next time.

After enjoying soft serve ice cream with Nocchimu-san in Tsukisamu, we headed to this place that I had been curious about since Nocchimu-san had mentioned it as a newly opened shop. Located near Yamaarashi, this shop in Sapporo specializes in Western-style sweets using Hokkaido ingredients, drawing on the owner's experience in Fukuoka and other places. As we entered the shop, a tower made of macarons in the center caught our eyes. While there were many baked sweets, the showcase also displayed fresh sweets. Intrigued, I purchased madeleines and a cake that caught my interest. The cake was a pistachio and chocolate mousse cake, with a rich pistachio mousse that had a strong flavor of pistachio, complemented by a rich yet slightly bitter chocolate mousse. The combination created a deep and delicious flavor, with a smooth texture that was pleasing to the palate. The Mont Blanc used Japanese chestnuts and a tart crust as its base. The Mont Blanc cream had a smooth texture and a delicious balance of the chestnut flavor and sweetness. Often, Mont Blanc cream can be too sweet or heavy, but this one had a light and easy-to-eat quality, with the addition of chestnuts and a crispy tart providing a nice accent. The lemon madeleine had lemon zest mixed into the batter, giving it a refreshing lemon scent after the buttery aroma. The moist texture of the batter was delicious. Judging from the lineup of the shop, it seems that baked goods are their specialty, but the fresh sweets were also quite delicious. The cakes were excellent, and the atmosphere of the shop was pleasant. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

I recently found this shop on Instagram and it caught my interest. It seems like a shop that specializes in baked goods, so I was really looking forward to trying their tarts. Everything looked delicious and I was having a hard time deciding, but the staff kindly explained each item to me. - Tart Meringue On top of the meringue, there was candied kumquat and finely chopped kumquat on the top part as well. This added a nice accent to the tart! Inside the meringue, there was a rich chocolate filling that was quite bitter and dense, making it a great choice for chocolate lovers! And most of all, the tart crust was crispy and really delicious! - Shoe a la creme The size was rectangular, about the size of Beard Papa's cream puff. The vanilla bean flavor was subtle, and it had a milky and smooth custard cream that was quite thick and drinkable. It was filled with plenty of cream, but the best part was the shoe pastry, which was really delicious! It had a slightly toasted and thick texture, but was crispy and I wanted it to be made into a rusk haha. - Madeleine Citron I was hesitating, but they offered a sample and it was delicious... haha. It was a moist madeleine with a refreshing lemon acidity, which was really nice! All the cakes had a very authentic feel and looked delicious, so I would love to try them again if I have the chance! The staff's customer service was also very attentive and pleasant! Thank you so much for stopping by, WU-TA-san!

I purchased a whole cake with plenty of strawberries and whipped cream as a celebration for my wife's discharge from the hospital. The cake was not too sweet and easy to eat. The balance between the sponge cake and whipped cream was good, and there were plenty of strawberries scattered throughout. I was very satisfied. The customer service was also good, and I would like to try other items on the menu as well.

In Hokkaido, there is a rare find of sweets that are said to be made by a couple who trained at a shop called Pure in Hakata. You can enjoy sweets made with Hokkaido ingredients and high basic skills. 1. Galette des rois - A French pastry eaten at the beginning of the year, a sophisticated sweet made with almond powder. It may not be flashy, but you can feel the chef patissier's dedication to the basics. The price is unknown for special orders, sorry. 2. Sable d'Or - Raisin sandwiched in cream with a hint of rum flavor in a carefully baked pastry (available for mail order in winter only). "This is seriously recommended." 3. Anchovy Pie - A pie with anchovies that will knock you out with its salty punch and anchovy flavor. Perfect with Chardonnay. Overall, you can feel the heart of a diligent patissier. Sweets originating from Hokkaido are truly amazing.

On a certain holiday, I remembered a bookmarked place and rushed in because I knew it was now or never. I visited a cake shop located along the Toyohira Ward Circular Road. They have a small parking space in front of the shop. The interior of the shop is quite spacious, with a showcase displaying a small selection of cakes and a shelf with various moist and dry sweets. From the menu that day, I chose a few items that caught my eye, including the "Delice Pistache (470 yen)" which had a slightly tart jelly on top, a generous amount of pistachio mousse underneath, Belgian chocolate in the center, a sponge cake at the bottom, and an interesting texture at the base. It turned out to be a unique and delicious treat. I also got the "Tarte Fruit Sec (410 yen)" which was loaded with tangy dried fruits (8 kinds) and nuts mixed with a caramel-like filling, all on a tart crust - my favorite of the day. Lastly, I couldn't resist the "Tarte Pinon (390 yen)" with its adorable squirrel-shaped biscuit, a moist mixture of pine nuts, and a hint of acidity from what turned out to be raspberry jam. I also tried a pound cake-like sample which I devoured before taking a picture, but it was also of exceptional quality. I was impressed not only by the cakes but also by the tarts and pound cakes they offer. Thank you for the delicious treats.
