I had a strong stomach ache, but I visited the "Mikawamen Donya" located inside "Gachapon Tomakomai store". Despite the somewhat intimidating atmosphere of being in a pachinko parlor, the female staff were friendly and made me feel comfortable. I have no interest in pachinko, so I only used the dining area! It is possible to just use the dining area without playing pachinko! I was considering getting the sauce cutlet bowl, but when I compared the latest menu with the prices, I decided to cancel the cutlet menu. These types of dining places are not as affordable as you might think, but they offer free extra portions, which is good for big eaters. I decided to order the "Meat Bowl Regular Size (¥700)" instead. In about 5 minutes, the dish was served, and to my surprise, it was a bowl with tender pork and runny eggs! Since they didn't have a pork bowl, I thought they were calling the "Meat Bowl" a "Pork Bowl" on the menu! I thought maybe the dish with eggs and vegetables to increase the volume was a "Stamina Bowl"! I had assumed that a dish with meat other than cutlets or chicken mixed with eggs would be called an "Other Meat Bowl". The color of the menu was bright, so I couldn't tell that the dish was mixed with eggs from the photo! I wanted to try the "Other Meat Bowl", but even if it was available, I didn't see many people ordering it, so I ended up choosing something else and had an unexpected encounter! Let's also pay attention to the perfect level of heat! The dish was very runny with a strong umami flavor from the pork and onions, and the cooking level seemed higher than other dining places! The first bite had a sweetness from seasoning ingredients like sugar, but the dashi stock made the aftertaste refreshing and not too heavy, which I personally liked! The pork was also tender and well-seasoned, showing that they put effort into it. The green onions were fresh and crunchy, serving its role as a palate cleanser. However, the broth was a bit too watery, which is why they provided a spoon! But surprisingly, dining places in pachinko parlors often have delicious food, right? Even if it's a company cafeteria, as long as the food is tasty, it's not a problem. The meat bowl is reasonably priced, but if they lower the prices of other menu items, it would be even better, although with the current high cost of living, it's understandable (laughs). I wonder how their ramen is. I'm curious. Thank you for the meal.
