We had a dinner party to celebrate a colleague's promotion. We splurged a bit and reserved the most expensive course for 10,000 yen. Despite it being March and raining, the restaurant was empty, which was lucky for us. The restaurant is located on the first floor of a hotel across from Ramen Shingen. Being in a hotel, there is a shared smoking room, which is convenient for smokers. The employees were very friendly and the food was amazing. We even ended up ordering a few extra dishes. They had 12 different types of salt to try, which was fun to experiment with on steak and potatoes. The homemade focaccia was warm and delicious, especially when dipped in the oil from the garlic shrimp. The main course of black wagyu fillet was tender and melted in your mouth, showcasing the high quality of the meat. The highlight for me was the lobster, which was succulent and rich in flavor, similar to crab. The vegetables were also delicious, and I appreciated the subtle seasoning that allowed the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine. We also used a coupon to request a special dessert plate with the name on it to celebrate the occasion. They even provided a photo frame with the picture we took, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable dinner party. With the all-you-can-drink option included, the price was very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. We found a great restaurant! The lunch options for office workers are limited. Today's lunch was at "Teppan Lounge Shun." I found this place on Instagram and decided to check it out for the first time. It's a 6-minute walk from my office, and I arrived around 11:32 am. There were no other customers besides me. The restaurant is run by two male staff members. I ordered the "Mix Lunch Harami" for 1,320 yen. The harami was thinly sliced and small but tasted good. The garlic rice portion was small and overcooked, not worth the price for lunch. I don't think I will come back for lunch, but maybe I'll try dinner next time. Overall, it was a tasty meal. Thank you for the meal!

Teppanyaki Lounge - This is my second visit to this place. It is located on the 1st floor of Hotel Royal Stay Sapporo. The performance of flames rising in front of you is captivating. We had course meals and wine by the bottle. I think it offers good value compared to other teppanyaki restaurants.

I have been using this hotel with a restaurant since last year for business trips. The building itself may be old, but the rooms are spacious, affordable, and the breakfast is delicious. It's a hidden gem that I don't want to tell anyone about. The seasonal dishes are amazing too. I was so tired, so I had a quick drink and meal here. I had cheese, abalone, and sausage platter and I was full. Plus, everything is cheap. Guests staying overnight get one free drink. Since I didn't include breakfast this time, I asked them to make me a beef bowl for tomorrow's breakfast. I will eat it with confidence in their food safety measures. I visited this restaurant for my last dinner before leaving Sapporo, the second accommodation during my trip to Hokkaido. I made a reservation and since it was a weekday, it wasn't too crowded. I ordered the Shunho-yaki, Hokkaido beef fillet steak (100g), a random garlic dish, and garlic rice. I also ordered a beer and watched as they cooked the Shunho-yaki on the iron plate in front of me. The dish arrived with luxurious toppings of snow crab, scallops, sea urchin, and salmon roe. The seafood was fresh and delicious, typical of Hokkaido. Next, the garlic dish arrived, and I enjoyed it with bread. It was a delicious dish made with dancing mushrooms and oysters. They then cooked the Hokkaido beef fillet steak in front of me, even asking if I wanted a video of the flambe moment. The steak was served with 12 types of seasoning salts to try, which was a fun experience. The variety of salts was impressive, and the meat was tender and exquisite. I also enjoyed some wine with the meal. Lastly, they cooked garlic rice after the steak, which was flavorful and a perfect ending to the meal. If I have the chance to visit Hokkaido again, I would love to dine at this restaurant.

I often stay at the hotel where this restaurant is located, and I always wanted to visit this place but never had the chance. Overall, I didn't have high expectations because it was so reasonably priced, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The service was good, and the food was delicious. It's a great place to visit alone, and the hotel itself offers great value for money. I would love to become a regular customer here. I visited in August 2021. I stayed at Hotel Royal Stay Sapporo with a dinner plan from Jalan for 5600 yen per night including dinner (before using a 1000 yen discount coupon). The restaurant is located on the first floor of Hotel Royal Stay Sapporo. I also received a free drink voucher with the plan! (It was non-alcoholic, so I had a non-alcoholic cassis soda). I sat at the counter and could see them cooking on the hot plate. It was a great deal to stay with dinner included using the coupon from Jalan! You can always find a 1000 yen discount coupon available on Jalan for all accommodation facilities!

Since corona hit, I can't go out to eat or drink with my buddy...well, work is work so let's do it properly! But even so, Sapporo city is quiet at night. What should I eat for dinner??? Huh? How about this place? They're open until 8pm, let's go here. I entered the restaurant at 5pm so naturally, I was the only one there. The chef greeted me nicely and escorted me to my seat. Drink, menu, order...what's this? Isn't this amazing! The drink came quickly, a perfectly chilled Nikka highball! The menu has a lot of dishes with local Hokkaido ingredients! Hmm, I'm torn...without hesitation, "Oh, the recommended dish is..." Oh, oh, that one... The dishes came out at a good pace, and the explanations were just right! Great! Fantastic! Welcome. ---------- 2020.08 ----------Located at the corner of South 6 West 8, along South 6 Street, Ramen Shingen is on the 1st floor of a hotel. The teppanyaki style space gives off a sophisticated hotel vibe. The counter seating is ideal for 1-2 people, but even with 4 people, the layout with separate teppanyaki, charcoal grill, and iron plate sections is quite unique. A must-try is the "Shunsen Yaki" featuring rib roast, which is irresistible for rib roast lovers. The base oil is garlic-infused "garlic oil," made with new garlic from Ishikari. They also sell the garlic itself for 250 yen each, which is delicious when steamed. Skilled chefs, originally from French cuisine, perform various cooking techniques at the counter. The service from the staff is fantastic, and the stylish wine glasses add to the atmosphere. The appetizers include tenderized deer shank in jelly, deer shank rillette, marinated back loin and chicken liver, and crispy deer cutlet with a flavorful Genovese sauce. The roasted deer loin is finely textured and melts in your mouth, complemented by a smooth and sweet sauce. A request for fried rice was fulfilled with a flambeed presentation, offering a delicious and light texture. The seasonal vegetables are steamed to bring out their rich flavors. They offer a variety of Hokkaido wines, sake, and more.

It's been a while since my last visit, this time I used a stay plan set by Jalan. The course overall is light and suitable for women with small appetites, but each dish is delicious. Especially, the variety of seasonings for the steak is enjoyable on its own. With accommodation included and breakfast for around 6,500 yen (with one drink), it's quite a deal! However, I still felt a bit hungry, so next time I'll just order normally.

I decided to go to the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel where I was staying to have a light meal after a sudden cancellation of an entertainment. They offered a special "light drinking set" for guests staying at the hotel for 1,500 yen. You could choose three items from the appetizer menu and three drinks. I chose homemade pickles, seared bonito carpaccio, and slowly simmered beef tendon rillettes for the appetizers. For drinks, I selected two Sapporo Lagers and a highball. I also added a 100g steak of local Shintama beef. I had an extra highball too. I felt satisfied and slightly tipsy after spending 3,000 yen. It's nice to visit places like this once in a while ❤️

We used it for our company's year-end party in 2019. Despite the reasonable pricing, the all-you-can-drink option included four types of craft beer and a variety of other drinks. The seven dishes, including seafood, meat, and pot-au-feu, were all plentiful and delicious. The meal was finished off with refreshing ice cream. Everyone, even the picky eaters, seemed to be very satisfied. The staff's hospitality was also wonderful. We apologize for being loud and rowdy. I would like to visit again alone as they also have a counter. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I have visited this restaurant twice and it is delicious! The first time I had a course meal and the second time I ordered a la carte. I love the grilled vegetables. However, it was disappointing that they made a mistake with the bill.
