I went from one fully booked restaurant to another until I found this place. It was quite empty inside, but the next person who came in was turned away because they were fully booked with reservations. I wonder if they were a "no show" for not showing up during their reservation time. I ordered potato salad, horse sashimi, and two glasses of draft beer, and also added beef tendon (forgot to take a picture). The man behind me ordered pickled daikon radish. The beef tendon stew took a while to prepare, so they gave me the pickled daikon radish as a complimentary service. However, I realized that this place is not in Kyushu, so I didn't really need the cream cheese. Later, I saw that cream cheese was actually listed on the menu. The waitress, who was running the place by herself, did a perfect job serving the draft beer. When I asked, she mentioned that she learned from her superior. Unfortunately, the shochu (distilled spirit) with hot water was not to my liking. In the end, the bill came to 5700 yen. I guess it's okay since I had horse sashimi.

I chose the all-you-can-eat course with onion and pork shabu-shabu. The shabu-shabu with only onion and pork was a bit salty, but there was plenty of onion and it seemed worth the price. Other dishes also came out quickly, so it's a good restaurant for those who like to eat a lot.

I have been to this restaurant several times, but it was my first time at Naka 3-jo. I made a reservation for 4 people and we were seated at a spacious table on the second floor with curtains for privacy, which was very comfortable!
- Motsu Nabe (soy sauce) for 3 people: consistently delicious! The taste remained elegant without getting greasy till the end. It was great that there was plenty of motsu in it.
- Horse meat tataki: smaller than expected. Personally, it was just okay.
- Mentaiko chikuwa tempura: opinions may vary. It lacked the distinct mentaiko flavor... it might be better to just order regular mentaiko!
- Hakata Gyoza (10 pieces): very delicious!! Served with yuzu pepper. It comes with one sauce for dipping, so you pour it over and eat it that way? The thin skin with a crispy char was delicious!
The age range of customers in the restaurant was mostly 20s to early 40s, on the younger side. The service for drinks and food was fast and much appreciated! Besides the motsu nabe, the other menu items are also delicious, so I wanted to try the karaage too! I will definitely go back!

I arrived at this place a little early in the evening to have dinner. They offer noodles for a coin each at affiliated stores. It's a great deal. I stopped by on my way back from errands. After sanitizing at the entrance, there were no other customers as it was an odd time. I was seated at a table and looked at the menu. When the server brought me water, they asked if I wanted champon, and I said yes. I've been to the shop in Sapporo Station before, but this was my first time here. The menu is slightly different. While waiting, another customer arrived with an order of champon and motsunabe. The champon arrived in about 10 minutes. The server warned me that it was hot. I started with the soup. It was a gentle soup with sweetness and seafood umami. The noodles were thick and straight. It had squid ink, shrimp, fish cake, cabbage, carrot, and bean sprouts. The portion was generous. There was a hint of black pepper. It's amazing that they offer this for a coin. It was hot until the last bite. I'm interested in trying other items on the menu, so I would like to come back if I pass by again.

Senbero popular restaurant's one-coin lunch service, the name is champon! There were no customers before 1 o'clock on a weekday, and I sat at the counter seat right after entering. Just to be sure, I look at the menu. It's been a while since I had champon, what was it like again? Oh, here it is. Roughly chopped Chinese cabbage, julienned carrots, bean sprouts, leeks, wood ear mushrooms, pork belly, fish cake, squid, shrimp, and plenty of vegetables, with noodles hidden among the vegetables. Slightly thick, chewy noodles, even more delicious when sprinkled with white pepper. This makes me want to have a second helping, but I'll stop. I'm starting to feel satisfied with all the vegetables. Full and satisfied, thank you for the meal.

I arrived in Sapporo city at 6:30 PM and was looking for a place to go before the alcohol serving time. As I walked around feeling a bit rushed, I noticed a big lantern. I decided to enter and found out it was a Kyushu cuisine restaurant. During my Sapporo trip, trying Kyushu cuisine was interesting. The horse sashimi, iburi gakko, and tamagoyaki with mentaiko were all delicious. The staff were also very friendly, providing me with information about the city and even going outside to guide me back when I left the restaurant. It was a last-minute decision to enter, but I was completely satisfied.

Now, besides the Paseo store of the Amajyu Group, customers who arrive before 6:30 pm can enjoy a meal for up to 120 minutes, pay with cash only, and receive half off their bill if there are fewer than 5 people in their group. The Ateneo store near the clock tower is very popular and fully booked, so this time I visited the Buaiso Nishi 3-jo store, which is close to Tanuki Koji. The Buaiso standard course includes: Today's small appetizer, shrimp and avocado salad, Hakata motsunabe or Hakata negi shabu, Miyazaki chicken nanban, Buaiso's famous mentaiko mayo tamagoyaki, choice of zosui, cheese zosui, champon, or udon for the final dish, and sherbet. This time, the salad was changed to daikon salad and the sherbet was changed to pudding. They offer Kyushu local sake and fruit liquor that women will enjoy, and the food is generally satisfying with no major complaints. The course cost 2000 yen, which is a great deal for a filling meal and all-you-can-drink. However, the restaurant was empty, possibly due to the time of day. It would be a shame to miss out on this opportunity. If you want to enjoy Hakata cuisine and Kyushu sake at a reasonable price, be sure to visit before the end of July!

I stopped by on my way home from work. I ordered the Negi Shio Motsu Nabe for 1 person at 1550 yen. There was plenty of green onions, and it was delicious! The salt broth and the cheese risotto at the end were also very tasty. It was 11 PM, so there were no other customers. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I would like to go again! Thank you for the meal!

I went in because they were serving lunch. The operating hours are from 12:00 to 15:00. I was seated at the counter. There are 6 lunch menu items available: Champon for 900 yen, Vegetable Champon for 950 yen, Hakata Motsunabe Set Meal for 1,400 yen, Negi Shabu Set Meal for 1,300 yen, Mentaiko Chicken Karaage Set Meal for 850 yen, and Ginger Pork Set Meal for 900 yen. I ordered the original menu item, Mentaiko Chicken Karaage Set Meal. It took a bit of time because it needed to be fried. It came with 4 pieces of chicken karaage with mentaiko sauce, salad, a side dish, and miso soup. Mentaiko Chicken Karaage is a dish where soy sauce-based fried chicken is combined with a sauce made from mentaiko. The surface is crispy and the inside is juicy, making it delicious. The mentaiko sauce is a bit spicy but doesn't have a strong mentaiko flavor. The side dish was Kinpira, and the miso soup had seaweed. The miso soup was a bit strong. The pickles were cucumber. The freshly cooked rice was delicious. There is no service for extra portions or refills. Next time, I would like to try the Champon.

As we approach the end of the year in the first year of Reiwa era, I came to a year-end party with my friends. First, we purchased 8 drinks for 2,100 yen (tax included) for 3 people. We choose dishes based on the number of sticks. Each drink is equivalent to one glass. We started with ordering a glass of draft beer. We felt happy to be able to drink at this time and made a toast! For food, we ordered vinegar motsu, smoked herring and cream cheese, beef tendon stew (2 sticks), motsu hot pot (4 sticks for 2 servings), and horse sashimi (4 sticks). The motsu hot pot with soy sauce was delicious, and the horse sashimi was fresh and full of flavor. There were some changes in the pricing system and slight price increases compared to the previous visit (5 sticks for 1,000 yen, 8 sticks for 1,500 yen → 4 sticks for 1,000 yen, 8 sticks for 2,000 yen). Nevertheless, it is a cheap and delicious restaurant. Thank you for the meal! ♪♪

This time, I was excited to decide what to exchange 5 point sticks for. I arrived just before 3 p.m. on Saturday, so I lined up. There were 2 customers in front of me and 8 customers behind me. I sat alone at the end of the counter. It was my first time drinking alone in a while (^^)b Oh! (;゚Д゚) Did the prices go up because of the 10% consumption tax in October? Senbero, which used to be 1000 yen for 5 point sticks, is now 1100 yen for 4 point sticks. And 2200 yen for 8 point sticks, which used to be 1500 yen for 8 point sticks, is now considered "quite a deal." I ordered 1 point stick, 2 Premium Malt's point sticks, and 3 large pieces of young chicken tempura with a slice of lemon and Italian parsley. It was quite satisfying to eat♪ I also ordered 1 point stick and a watered-down barley shochu "Yoshigoroku." I was quite disappointed because I was so excited when I entered the restaurant. Also, the sister restaurant "Fuurin Minami 3-jo Store" across the street closed on September 30th. I was disappointed that I couldn't visit before it closed. Stayed for 1 hour. Paid 1100 yen. It was the day I first felt the 10% consumption tax.

◆Sapporo "Senbero" Buaiso Minami Sanjo Store◆
I went on another "Senbero" (1000 yen for food and drink) tour. I visited Hakata Umakamon Buaiso Minami Sanjo Store. They only offer "Senbero" from 15:00 to 17:00 for 2 hours. It was almost full, but I managed to squeeze in (I just made it before the next person was turned away). First, you need to purchase point sticks. 4 sticks cost 1,080 yen, and 8 sticks cost 2,160 yen (I bought 8 sticks this time. Cash payment is required upfront). One drink equals one stick, and the food items vary in points. I had 4 cups of sweet potato shochu, with smoked herring and cream cheese (1 stick), vinegar-soaked tripe (1 stick), and beef tendon stew (2 sticks). In the end, I enjoyed 4 cups of sweet potato shochu for a satisfying use of 2,160 yen. I want to visit again, but it's always crowded.

Finally, I made my debut at a budget drinking and eating spot! I often visit the popular drinking spots in Saitama, but this was my first time here. It's definitely a bit tricky if you're not with someone experienced, as I learned from reading reviews. I bought 4 sticks of points for 1080 yen. First, I started with a proper glass of premium malt beer. Now, onto the next 3 sticks (laughs). Let's go with the beef tendon stew - it was cooked well and delicious! Of course, it's from Buaiso, so it's bound to be tasty. Hmm... one beer glass is not enough. I'll need another one after this stick. Oh no, I ran out of points (*゚▽゚*). Is this it? If so, then let's order some eggplant, green pepper, pumpkin, and shiitake mushroom skewers. "These are not included in the budget drinking and eating, right?" No, they are extra. In the end, with 1000 yen for the budget, I didn't end up getting completely drunk (//∇//). The deep-fried skewers had a light batter and were delicious! But, 8 sticks were too many. It's better to come with a few people, right? Overall, I was very satisfied with my first budget drinking and eating experience (╹◡╹). Thank you for the meal!

As a fan of "senbero" (drinking and snacking on a budget), I visited a shop that I had been curious about. During shopping, I got thirsty and decided to stop by. I purchased 4 sticks for 1080 yen or 8 sticks for 2000 yen of "point sticks" and exchanged them for items on the menu. The menu can be checked in the photos. The "senbero" (4 sticks for 1080 yen) is a limited menu from 15:00 to 17:00. You can exchange one drink for each stick. The ice-cold beer was delicious! The iburi-gakko cream cheese was a good snack with thick slices and plenty of cream cheese. The chicken nanban was soft and tasty, although I wished there was more tartar sauce. It was a great deal for 1080 yen! One thing to note is that you cannot purchase additional point sticks. You have to pay in cash upfront, and seat reservations are only until 17:00. I had a very enjoyable "senbero" experience!

I visited Baiso Minami 3-jo store for the first time! The time was 6:00 PM when I arrived at the restaurant. It's a place I've been wanting to go to for a while. The entrance was a bit confusing, with a large door, but I eventually found it. The happy and cute staff welcomed me and I ordered a beer. The atmosphere was really nice. I ordered some dishes like Nagaimo Ume Wasabi and Fried Squid, which were delicious. The beer was great too. The staff were friendly and the overall experience was good. I was curious about the name "Baiso" though. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

This is the third installment of my revisit series. The senbero set prices have gone up... 1000 yen for 5 drinks has become 1080 yen for 4 drinks, and 1500 yen for 8 drinks has become 2160 yen for 8 drinks. It seems like it was too good of a deal before... Nevertheless, the restaurant is still bustling with customers. I arrived just before 4 pm on a weekday, but they had to turn away customers after me. Just missing one drink throws off the calculations I had in mind (^-^; I started off with a beer, then enjoyed vinegar motsu and pounded cucumbers as snacks, before finishing with some shochu on the rocks. Thank you for the meal!

Finally, I made it here!! After Biaga, I came here... I purchased 4 drink tokens for 1000 yen in advance. Of course, beer♪ The beer is delicious!! I thought maybe it's not good to just have beer, so I also ordered smashed cucumber and long radish with plum and wasabi. I like these light snacks♪ I sat at the counter and talked a lot with the staff!! It seems like there are people who use all their drink tokens for alcohol!! I'm more of that type, haha. But there are also some menu items that caught my eye... They seem to be quite accommodating and flexible, which is great. I really like this kind of personalized service that's not just following a manual♪ Next time, I might stop by alone on a whim!! I really liked it a lot♪

"Buaizo Minami 3-jo branch" is the third stop for day drinking. I came here for revenge after not being able to get in last Saturday due to it being full. It was a little after 3:00 PM on Friday. I was the first customer with no one else there. It was quite empty that day. The rumored Senbero set is a limited time offer from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. You can purchase 5 sticks for 1000 yen or 8 sticks for 1500 yen, which can be exchanged for drinks or food. All drinks, except bottled beer, are just 1 stick. Premium shochu and local sake can be enjoyed for less than 200 yen per glass, so it's super cost-effective. The food I ordered this time was "vinegared motsu (1 stick)", "Iburi Gakko and cream cheese (1 stick)", "horse sashimi (4 sticks)", and "motsu teppan (3 sticks)". All the dishes were authentic and plentiful. The horse sashimi was very fresh and the motsu teppan was cooked just right and delicious. I enjoyed drinks starting with a highball, then the Maou cocktail, and finally local sake, feeling pleasantly tipsy. After about 2 hours since entering, I had eaten and drank well without spending more than 1500 yen alone, which is great value for money. Everything I tried was delicious and of high quality. It seems to be quite crowded on holidays, so I recommend visiting on weekdays. I will definitely visit this place again. Thank you for the delicious meal!"

I was finally able to visit Senbero at Baiso Minami 3-jo store! We visited on a Saturday afternoon around 3 pm with two people. There were already quite a few customers enjoying their drinks and snacks. We ordered 2 sets of 1000 yen each, totaling 10 drinks. It's interesting that you have to pay upfront. For snacks, we chose Hakata green onion shabu-shabu, vinegar motsu, and smoked cheese with iburi gakko. The snacks were all delicious! The green onion shabu-shabu was especially irresistible for green onion lovers like me. For drinks, my companion only wanted one, so I ended up having three drinks. After having two glasses of shochu on the rocks in the afternoon, I was completely done for... It seems like it would be most enjoyable to visit with about four people. I would like to challenge myself with 8 drinks next time. Thank you for the meal!

This is a solo drinking session in Sapporo. It's been a while since I visited this place. I've been reading everyone's reviews while shaking with excitement, and finally, I was able to come to "Buaiso Minami 3-jo store." When I opened the heavy door and entered, it felt quite nice inside. It didn't feel typical of Buaiso, do you know the original store? The annex left a bad impression on me, they spilled sake on my pants and didn't even apologize. When I said it was "cold," they gave me a look like I was being difficult, so I thought I would never go back. Truly, it's Buaiso. But this place is normal and decent. There is one customer at the L-shaped counter. There were point sticks on the plates as expected. I ordered the "Senbero for 1000 yen" and a beer. It's a premium beer. The "beef tendon stew" is also delicious. The yuzu pepper is a nice touch. For the second beer, I could have ordered three beers, but that would be too much from the first place, so I covered it up with "Iburi Gakko cream cheese." It came out a bit fancy. The taste is also delicious. As someone with many likes and dislikes, I appreciate being able to choose what I eat. They saw me off when I left, and the service was fine. It was completely different from the annex. I had a fun drinking experience.
