It's been a while since I last visited. The place is as lively as ever. Today's recommended menu was abundant and all delicious! The thick rolled omelette is always a hit. I ate a lot but was too engrossed in chatting to take many photos. The moist zangi, different from the Engino branch, was also great.

It's a consecutive holiday, so we decided to have dinner outside for once. It was our first visit to Kobachan Shiomatsu store with two people. We ordered Kobachan's special Zangi for 590 yen + tax, Dashimaki Tamago for 580 yen + tax, Salmon and Plum Onigiri (2 pieces) for 380 yen + tax, Chocolate Banana Ice Cream for 380 yen + tax, and Calpis for 324 yen. We received a service with the Bumbun Club card. The food at this izakaya was pretty standard. The Zangi was large with a crispy outer layer, but lacked flavor inside. The Dashimaki Tamago looked delicious with its size, but lacked the dashi flavor and tasted more like a regular egg roll. The Onigiri was average, while the Katsudon had a crispy texture and just the right amount of seasoning, making it delicious. The dessert was a parfait, not ice cream, and despite low expectations, it was voluminous and tasty. Kobachan has four stores in Chitose, Eniwa, Megumino, and Shiomatsu. We visited the Shiomatsu store, which had an impressive appearance, but the food leaned towards a lighter flavor profile. It might be recommended for those who prefer milder tastes. The seafood dishes might offer a different experience. The menu has a variety of meal options, and the staff is attentive and eager to provide good service. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.
