I went on a 2-night, 3-day trip to Hokkaido and visited this restaurant after seeing it on YouTube. I made a reservation for 9:30 PM. I arrived a little early, but the seats were already full, so I entered at 9:30 PM. Everything was delicious! My favorites were the smelt tempura and the tsubugai (whelk). The smelt was crispy and fluffy without any bitterness, and I could eat as much as I wanted.

On Sunday, I went to a recommended izakaya where you can also enjoy delicious sashimi. The entrance is a bit hard to find, but it's located on the side facing Nanajo Street. Inside, there are sunken kotatsu seats, a counter, and a raised seating area. It seems like a good place for group parties. We started with a sashimi platter, salmon roe on rice, grilled hokke fish, and vinegared nagaimo. We toasted with beer and highballs. The sashimi platter was delicious, with fresh botan shrimp heads and tasty sea urchin. The bonito was sliced a bit small, but still flavorful. The hokke fish from Rausu had a good amount of fat and was delicious. It made me realize that it had been a while since I last had hokke. The seasoning on the salmon roe on rice was great, and the crispy texture of the vinegared nagaimo was tasty. Overall, it's a recommended izakaya, especially for large groups. Also, I've noticed that I often discover Tabelog coupons when writing reviews. Do you have the same experience?

When I arrived with a reservation, the restaurant was full. I was seated at the counter. The menu is extensive and the service is polite. Everything I tried was delicious. Considering the quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable. It's nice that they have individual small pots for one person. I would like to go again. Thank you for the meal.

I went out to eat with a colleague who is also in Sapporo for work. We wanted to try something typical of Hokkaido, so we looked for a place that was still open late. We ended up choosing a restaurant on a whim, and it turned out to be a great choice. The grilled Atka mackerel was huge and delicious, with just the right amount of fat. The Inca's Awakening cheese bake was also really tasty with a rich cheese flavor. We ate a lot and drank quite a bit, so it was a bit expensive, but we had a great time.

After an event at a hotel in Nakajima Park in Sapporo, we felt like we needed a little more to drink. We had some snacks and drinks at the networking event, so we decided to have a second round. We didn't eat much at the hotel, and some people staying at Nakajima Park didn't want to walk far, so we decided to go to a nearby place where locals go for hokke (Atka mackerel). We arrived without a reservation but were seated at a sunken table. We checked the menu and it seemed good. I showed a coupon from a food blog, but the staff informed me that the coupon was actually invalid because the restaurant had requested its removal from the blog. I felt a bit uneasy but started with some sake since I had already had enough beer. The sake was served in a glass container, and the price for a full serving was reasonable. The staff even offered a drink to the ladies, which lifted my spirits a bit. We ordered hokke, shimesaba (marinated mackerel), tachiuo (largehead hairtail), shiokara (fermented squid guts), sakiika tempura, and something else I can't recall. Each of us ordered different dishes, and we ended up having a casual chat after the meal. The seafood options on the menu were quite impressive. I realized that if we had come here first and tried more dishes, it would have been even more enjoyable. I may have approached this place the wrong way, but the menu layout and the quality of the seafood selections left me with high expectations for a future visit. The issue with the coupon needs to be addressed. Thank you for the meal.

I visited for a second party. It was a bit outside of Susukino, so it was not crowded and we were able to get in right away. I wanted to eat squid sashimi, so I ordered it. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Visited with a friend. There were many autographs of famous people at the entrance. The alcohol was delicious, and all the dishes we ordered were tasty. Especially the tempura of cod milt was delicious. We also had sake for two people, and it cost around 13,000 yen.

I visited for the second time and today I had the chef's recommended sashimi and grilled salted mackerel, the first of the season. The fatty oil was amazing! It might be the best mackerel I've ever had. It was cold so the blowfish fin sake warmed my stomach (lol). I also enjoyed the sukiyaki hot pot, a favorite at this restaurant. I definitely want to try the grilled oysters with spicy miso again. My companion couldn't resist ordering a bowl of rice from here.

After returning from the fireworks festival, I was tired from walking and really wanted to drink beer quickly. I happened to pass by this restaurant and decided to go in, which turned out to be a great choice. The sukiyaki hot pot had high-quality meat and delicious broth. I added an extra egg at the end and ordered a bowl of rice (no udon available). I managed to finish with a rice porridge at the end. I also ordered tuna sashimi tempura, tofu with crab miso, shrimp dumplings, and a seafood salad, all of which were well-prepared dishes. The atmosphere was calm and the staff were friendly. It exceeded my expectations, and I have decided to come back again. I will also keep a bottle of shochu for my next visit.

Good evening~(^O^)/I had a craving for simmered kinmedai, so I decided to visit after a long time. I've been dreaming about kinmedai simmer for a while now, so I was determined to have it today. I was debating between Ogani or Fujikura, but ended up choosing Gyo for a change (lol). Started with a glass of white wine. Chilled to the perfect temperature, perhaps Chardonnay? Delicious. Now onto ordering. First, the simmered kinmedai which takes time. Also ordered the maguro mountain sashimi. Saw the sign for simmered motsu and decided to order that too. The appetizer of Hokkai shrimp was quite tasty. The sashimi was shiny and fatty, absolutely delicious (^。^) When dipped in soy sauce, the fat floats up instantly. The maguro mountain sashimi had a few chewy parts, but overall light and refreshing, finished it all. It was so good that I wanted some rice! The simmered motsu arrived. The beef horumotsu was large and chewy, with a lingering sweet taste. Finally, the main dish I came for, the simmered kinmedai. The broth was rich and sweet-salty. Combined with the dashi from kombu, it was incredibly delicious. The flesh was tasty, but the fatty part on the skin was especially delicious. I finished it all neatly and even got praised by the waitress *\(^o^)/*(・・;) Ended the feast with catalana. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal (⌒▽⌒)

I visited for a casual drink. The atmosphere of the restaurant is dimly lit and there are many couples. There seemed to be a regular customer sitting at the counter, aside from me, who was also drinking alone. There was a noticeable difference in the way the staff treated regulars versus newcomers. But since I was just there for a casual drink, it didn't really bother me. I ordered chicken thigh yakitori, octopus fritters, and paired them with Kariho Bangaihin Junmai Namazake, which is extra dry and has a sake meter value of +21. The chicken thigh was delicious and made for a good snack. The octopus fritters were a bit too moist, giving off a soggy texture. However, the Kariho sake was incredibly spicy, and the combination of this spiciness and the richness of the sake was delightful. It paired perfectly with the salted fish. I'm glad I got to try this. Thank you for the meal.

I was invited by a client for work and went to a cozy izakaya located on the first floor of Sevun Building on Ekimae Street, just south of Susukino. The atmosphere is slightly dim, which adds to its charm. The izakaya has a counter, table seating, and even a raised seating area in the back. It has a mature vibe, with many customers quietly enjoying their drinks, making it a great place for entertaining clients. It's also a nice spot for a date! The prices are reasonable, considering the quality of the ingredients used. The sashimi is fresh, and the beer is served in nicely chilled glasses, which adds to the experience. Overall, it was a great meal!

I was wandering around the outskirts of Susukino without deciding what to eat, when I spotted a delicious-looking sign. This place has changed a few times, previously being a motsunabe restaurant, among others. We entered and sat at the counter for two. The interior was a bit dark, but had a nice atmosphere. There were also raised tatami seating areas, suitable for groups. The food menu was extensive. We ordered crab miso dumplings, seafood salad, beef tataki, tempura, and more. The seafood salad was delicious! I was pleased with the variety of seafood. The male staff seemed more friendly than the female staff! Thank you for the meal.

After leaving Sapporo Excel Hotel Tokyu and walking towards Susukino, I happened to drop by this cozy local restaurant. It had a friendly atmosphere, not just for tourists but also for locals. That day, there was an Exile live concert at Sapporo Dome, and they were running a campaign where you could get a free drink by showing your concert ticket. I ordered various snacks and each dish was carefully made. The staff were also very friendly. It was a spontaneous visit, but we felt lucky to have found such a nice place as we walked back home.

A shop located about a 5-minute walk from Susukino Station. The name is pronounced "Isari." As you head south from Susukino, the number of people suddenly decreases, so the shop is not too crowded and is a recommended hidden gem spot. Fresh seafood is displayed on the counter, whetting your appetite. The recommended menu is updated daily, so it's always exciting to visit. The fish in the photo is sashimi of "Oosuke (King Salmon)" and "Sanma (Pacific Saury)," both delicious. There are plenty of Japanese sake and shochu available to complement the seafood. The master of the shop is a very young and friendly nice guy. The shop has a relatively quiet and calm atmosphere, but there are also tatami rooms in the back where you can enjoy drinking and chatting noisily. The way Japanese sake is served differs between the counter and other areas. Enjoying these differences can also be an enjoyable experience.
